Thread: Lovely Losers 2021 - "Awesome in AUGUST"

    Good Morning everyone!

You guys are doing so great I'm embarrassed about how much weight I put on in a short amount of time. The party was fun with lots of eating of food (& drinking) thats been off limits for soo long! But I indulged big time. But I know the first week is full of wonder so hopefully it goes that way. I feel stuffed, bloated and just plain fat. Maybe a little constipated too. Well then sorry for that visual. Well I will check in later cause works picking up but positive thoughts to all and good luck for everyone starting a round & cheers to you rockstars stabilizing!

So many choices instead of wearing the same 3 things over and over again. Sure you all get this... and, and, and definitely outweighs the old way of being.
Yes! Yes! Loving that I can wear almost everything I own now. Still have a couple pairs of pants waiting for me. After I had my huge gain I lived in yoga pants and black pants with LOTS of stretch... so basically a sort of yoga pants lol

I've been trying to catch up so to answer your question from a while ago - I'm doing pellets.

Pearly, that pic is hysterical. They look like a living dog rug sitting next to each other.

Hi everyone, just popping on here real quick. Refrigerator is broken, won't be out to fix it until Thursday and now my brand new printer is not working properly, so taking that back to Costco today. Fridge is not even 2 years old!!

Also, thank you all for the well and happy wishes for my neighbor, she actually has matastatic breast cancer. She has already had 2 masectomys from prior bouts with breast cancer but this one was in her abdomen region and it was stage 4 matastatic breast cancer, tripple negative. She just got word this morning that her doctor wants her to stay on chemo indefinately... she is so bummed. She thought for sure she would be able to take a break! Of course we are thankful for the news that the cancer is gone for now! (*Which is what she keeps saying)

As for me, I am really down today! With my friends news from her doctor earlier, with my refrigerator and printer (We have a business from our home and need a scanner/printer big time) I am pretty stressed! So, this morning I weighed 154.3 and pretty much freaked. Yesterday I was at 152.8.... so, what did I do? I took an injection, really not even looking close at my weight but I freaked. Here I was thinking...oh my gosh, I gained 3 pounds! Yikes... These last 2 days I thought I did pretty good but I had a lot of wine. Like... really....a....lot. Well, sitting here at my computer I looked again at my weight and my LIW on Wednesday was 153.5, so actually I am just .8 over my LDW. These last couple of days my mind has just been a blur. So I guess I am stuck doing the 9 days that I was pretty sure I wasn't going to continue. Unless I just stop... but then of course how many days with no injections ?? This round has been one screw up after another... and now, this morning I did it again!! Thanks for letting me vent!!

Oh well, life goes on. Gotta go to Costco and deal with this printer issue.

Hope everyone is doing better then I am.

Hugs, Karen! So much going on for you. Might as well just do the 9 days? Seems easiest since you know what to expect and don't have to worry about what you can eat and how much etc.

2many, I lost track: was this a loading party? If so, no worries, girl! Let the HCG do its magic!

I weighed in at 148.8 this morning and I am thoroughly enjoying the P3 foods. Hope tomorrow brings new losses and scale wins for everyone!

    Hey every buddy!

I just want to check in and say Yowsa for all the successes, and maybe for all the challenges too.
It is kind of an all purpose word, huh?

My sister and I had breast cancer in 2011 for her 2014 for me, and we came through it fine. Reconstruction was a joke. In hindsight I shouldíve taken a copy of National Geographic to the plastic surgeon and shown him what boobs look like. He obviously had never seen any. Crooked square pillows. But better than the alternative of course.

This job is keeping me hopping. After a year of sleeping in and sitting on the couch all day, I all of a sudden am up at 6:30, out the door and at work by eight, run home at noon for lunch and dog medicating, and sometimes a 15 minute nap, back by one, there until five, and then many days I run to my sisters so I can bike with my nephew. And a couple evenings a week Iím back at the computer doing editing on newsletters again. I feel like I have an hour a day for myself.

Weekends are insane. All the shopping cleaning cooking laundry lawn mowing and socializing stuffed in two days.

I wanted a job! I got one. I think I kind of forgot how much time they take up.

Not that I have a choice. I canít afford my house without a job and I canít afford to sell it until I can make money on it for retirement. At this rate Iíll be working until Iím 80.

Blah blah blah. Iím fine! Square pillow boobs and all. 128.8 today.

    Onward!

    Morning everybody!

Phoebe-sad about your neighbor, (but happy shes clear at the moment) my sister had BC but has been clear for 22 years but went thru all the chemo-wigs-mastectomy and sickness with her. I guess we all know somebody struggling with that. Why can't there be a cure yet??

msstrong-yup it was a loading/birthday party so indulged a little too much!

Pearly-I hear ya on the culture shock of starting back up having a structured day-we were only on lockdown for 12 weeks but it was enough for me to get a taste of retirement but one thing I did learn was I will need a better routine when my time comes.

Well today is day 2 VLCD and only lost 1 bloody pound hmm oh well we will see what happens tomorrow.

Good Tuesday Morning Everyone! 2nd Loading day for me. Actually on Sunday ate more than normal for me, tho not on hcg, still indulged some, then indulged yesterday taking 1st hcg injection. Load Day #1, under the belt and on the scale. And today will be Loading Day #2. Already up 3.2 lbs from Saturday, but still 1.4 below last dose weight from last round, but closing in on that fast! We will be going out to my husband's favorite restaurant tonite for "last supper", nice steak, baked potato with butter and sour cream, and some kind of dessert, for sure. Have not been eating so much sweets, but have been eating breads (I miss breads and knew if I started them I would eat more and GAIN) Bread is not my friend.

So after today, will be joining you Jeanette, on P2. Sorry 1st day losses were not as big as usual, maybe today's changed. I hope that isn't the same for me in a couple of days, that first week of hcg magic is a real motivator for sure. Hang in there, maybe it will happen a day or two delayed.

Not sure Phoebe, if you'll be going on with P2 for next 9 days or just transitioning to p3, but thinking of you however you decide to you. About your friend, they don't call struggles with cancer a battle for no good reason, it is a battle for sure. I agree with Jeanette, why can't there be a cure yet?!

Polly, you sound busy! Keeps you young and engaged! Look at it that way. I keep asking myself if I should look for another job, not being able to travel at a whim to see my grandkids is why I resist. But I do miss the interaction with people. Not sure I'd like working from home so much. Guess the girls don't mind your being gone all day, especially since you pop in mid-day. Sounds like you are stablizing perfectly.

mrsstrong, I think it was misscast, she said you have become like a team leader, I agree. You are a rock, steady and sensible role model for all of us. Looks like you are going to settle below the 150 mark. Good job.

misscast, so you are still on pellets? How much longer? Sounds like all your clothes are fitting, so are you almost done? I agree with you, Polly's dogs did look like a "living dog rug"! Too cute!

To everyone else out there, hope you're ok, doing well, jump in anytime, we love to hear from any and all. Off to go eat something, I believe in loading, seriously, have never in the past had issues with hunger first few days of 500 calories, but have always made it a point to load and not be afraid of the resulting gain. Hope HCG continues to work it's magic this round. Fingers crossed.

Forgot to bring scale in to hotel so will try to weigh tomorrow. I think this is day 3 P3. Still not ravenously hungry but i usually manage to get back appetite in a week. Not sure how much i ate yesterday but definitely need my fruits. Felt slightly light headed and faint for a moment yesterday while driving our box truck.. scary thought. Since travel not eating reg veggies so had my fruit and felt better Haven't had that happen for many years.

Oh my gosh... lol!! My neighbor must have had the same surgeon! Though she got done with her last treatment from breast cancer Jan. 2020 and then May 2020 was diagnosed with Matastatic BC. Which means it had spread, even though her lymph nodes were clear. Ended up in her pelvic area. But she had a horrible time with her reconstruction!! Uggg... wish they had a cure!! Hopefully someday soon!

Mrsstrong, Yay on your weight!! Sounds like you are doing great!

Rose, good luck with your travels, so much easier when you are on P3 for sure!

2many, trust the process!! Those pounds will start coming off! And yes, I think we do all know someone with cancer!! So terrible!!

    Dubbles, thank you! Enjoy loading!!

Pearly, busy, busy, busy!! Glad you seem to be doing well though!!

If I forgot anyone, I hope you are doing well!

AFM, down 1.1 today. Had to clean out my freezer/refrigerator this morning before the trash truck got here. What a shame.... so much food wasted!! I made sure to keep my eggs and chicken in our little outdoor fridge we have by our pool. We are going to get ice today and live out of a cooler for the next couple of days. My hcg is in the fridge hidden in a vitamin container, still a little cool in there, maybe 60 degrees. Uggg...this is one of those times I feel like my patience is being tested. Did exchange my printer for a new, even cheaper one and seems to be working fine, thank goodness!!

Oh.. I have decided to just finish out these last 9 days and move in to P3 from there. Hopefully I can get to 148, and hopefully I still have enough hair on my head!! A week from today will be my LIW.

Happy day losing and maintaining to all!!

Thanks for your kind words! I hope I can live up to them!

Weighing in the same as yesterday so that is good. Eating well and loving it. I am hoping for some good reshaping though. I finally lost some stubborn fat on my upper arms but boy, they are YUGLY now. I mean, I'll live with them if I have to but please reshape!

Hope everyone has a better day! Take some you time! You deserve it. I haven't had a pedicure all summer (I know, how did I even live??) but I may do it now to pamper myself and relax.

Cancer is just nasty. Friend of mine is undergoing treatment right now. She was always so health-aware that it really kind of makes you wonder. I mean, I know cancer is also genetic and there are pollutants, etc. but that we have so little control even when eating like no sugar and healthy fats only all of your adult life as she has makes you get a little despondent. Everything becomes a tool for deep inner growth so that is how I view life but still, so hard.
