Thread: Lovely Losers 2021 - "Awesome in AUGUST"

ms strong- me too on the yeast infection, thought I had a bladder infection took the azo yesterday but then knew I had a yeast infection. Now doing a round of monostat. This sucks!

Dubbles-don't stress one lil beer that could have turned into a buffet of regret is something to look on the bright side about!

Me-don't feel well so freaking uncomfortable. Sent hubs to the store yesterday for the one dose monostat but nooo, they only carry the 3 dose. I prefer once & done but maybe they don't make em anymore. Finally went to the BR today so at least there's that. Same weight as yesterday. All I'm asking for is 11 pounds... please...

Whoa...finally caught up. We are a prolific group.

Amazing losses for those beginning P2 and sounds like great stabilzation for the newcomers to P3.

I have been superabundantly busy...just haven't had a moment to stop, sooooo taking as much of today for myself as possible. So great, that it's possible as I work for myself. I'm so full up (just coached on zoom for the past 3 days for 12+ hrs/day), I'm not even sure what day I'm on in P3, only that it's going well. I am stable, at least weightwise. And I also still haven't had bacon yet???? So random.

All the yeast and uti-ers, I so feel for you. My daughter also used to really suffer and she used OTC plus several other things. I'll ask her as she researched so much and really is now an expert. I know she used Uva Ursi tea and also something called something like Metformalin (I'll find out the exact name) with success. She also made suppositories that help. She hasn't had either in a long time.

I get to go shopping as I'm having a craving for shrimp that gets to be fed and all kinds of seafood...and of course some bacon...

    Eat some bacon for me!

I think I'm suffering with this because I have been eating greek yogurt for lunch for the past 3 months and started P2 last weekend -body is likely missing the stuff in there.

Lovely Losers 2021 - "Awesome in AUGUST"

Good morning all! Glad the P2ers are having such great success!

The new week has begun. Boy, weekends are sweeter when you work full time out of an office that is not at HOME. I was home for one year and it ruined me!

Iíve been creeping up .2 at a time over the last few weeks. Iím still below LDW but I donít like the direction this is going. I was bouncing between mid 127s and Mid 128s for weeks and weeks and now Iíve bounced up .2 at a tine to 129.4. What concerns me is the lack of ANY bounce downs.

Iíve blamed it on stress, tiredness, too much dairy, not eating enough proteinÖ probably all of those. I really donít have the bandwidth to handle a fasting steak day. Hmmmm. Will just try to watch the protein and maybe track food for a week.

    Onward all!

gz9gig, thanks for your encouragement! Hope you are doing good!!

Dubbles...hoping that one beer won't set you back too much!! You did great refraining from the rest of the food though!! Pat yourself on the back for that!

2many, hope you start to feel better!! What us women go through!! Hope it all clears up soon! I'm rooting for 11 lbs and then some for you!! You've got this, hang in there girl!!

Pearly - good to hear from you!! I know a thing or two about stress these last couple of week as well!! Really does mess with your everything it seems!! Just not good. Do you still do steak days in P4? Just curious, I guess it does make sense! I don't think I could do a steak day either, I don't do good with fasting at all... unless I'm taking hcg.. I get start to feel really bad, and sick to my stomach when I just skip breakfast!

Mrsstrong, sounds like you are stabilizing good!! That's awesome!! And yes... it's been a long time since I've seen the 140's, I am actually good with anything close to 150. I feel like years ago, I was set at 154 for quit a while, so it won't surprise me if that is where I end up.

Robin, looks like you are doing great!! Good to hear from you!!

I have been so busy this past weekend and really didn't have the time to get on here. I had stomach issues Sat and Sun, probably all of the different foods. I think one culprit may be the HWC in my coffee but who knows. My husband and I run our own business and just got a pretty good contract which is a bit different what we typically do so we are having to find new software, trying to clean out our office which has 22 years of "stuff" both business and personal... which is pretty overwhelming to say the least. He went to work today in the field so I am at least going to be able to get some of this stuff done without him here, which is just a little easier for me. He has a very A type personality, where I do not, except for competitiveness... I'm pretty type A when it comes to that, just not organization. Don't get me wrong, I am organized in my own crazy way but if someone else came in my office, they would not be able to function. lol... *at least I can admit it!! But, with this new contract that we got, we are most likely going to have to hire help and also get a mobile office so time to clean up my act!

Today I am .5 under my LIW. Definatley creeping up but not sure what I expect with more food in my stomach. 151.9 today. LIW 152.4.

Will check back later if I can.

    Good morning!

2many - Hoe you sort out your stomach issues. Still no bacon and never made it to shop because I was so busy with work and we had a new AC installed yesterday which also took up some time....

Phoebe- I feel you about your office style and cleaning. I just went through the same thing and the outcome...amazing. It feels pretty zen in there now instead of chaotic for the past 20 something years. Honestly, it just feels so much better!

Mrsstrong- Hope you're kicking that UTI's ***! I'm also holding strong and loving the magic of stabilization.

Everyone, I'm applauding you for your strength, your commitment and the way you flow with the ups and downs. I'm so grateful for everyone of you.

    On to the reshaping!

    Good Tuesday morning everybody!
I am feeling so much better today. Even though the scale has been stuck for 3 days in a row now that is to be expected. I would love to see the 150's but will settle with 160 because that 10 pound diff for me I can only maintain if I give up everything. I would be ok at 160 if I could just get there!

I hear ya on the decluttering operation, its such a chore but we have been trying to keep up with it too. I guess you have to be in the mood to dive in and no fun if its hurled on you.
P3 is so challenging, this past time I never ate any complex carbs but likely overdid it with nuts, eggs, cheese and whatnot. I love those tho, I am going to try for more salads this time.

    Happy Tuesday, all -

I'm doing well, still prepping to start my round. I'm clearing out (eating or freezing) non-POP foods and getting mentally ready for the VLCD. My last round in the spring was a reshaping round, but this time I do want to lose weight. I'm also trying tablets instead of drops.

Robin- eat some bacon, please! Seriously, What’s wrong with you?!

Phoebes- you are doing great and staying below LIW no less. I’m curious, what did you eat on your first couple of days of P3? Good luck with the organizing. I really need to do that at home. We are going to be replacing our floors soon, so will be a good time to get some of that done.

Pearly- that creep up is a killer. It always seems to happen to me to, and like you, I’m like, hey, why doesn’t this ever go the other way???

2many- hope your stall ends soon.

I think I have finally broken through my stall. I’ve started losing again, but still haven’t gotten that whoosh I was expecting. Maybe tomorrow.

Whew. Got a nice 1.2 drop today. Not put of the woods yet, because I just didnít eat much yesterday and not sure lack of volume counts. At least it is a DOWN! Lol.

I didnít track food either. Gotta try HARDER.

    Onward!

2many, on p3 a really good fast food salad I ate--a lot was the Wendy's summer chicken strawberry salad, but I put my own dressing on it, and didn't eat any croutons or addons they had prepackaged. But it had a full chicken breast with bacon and cheese, so good. It made lunch or dinner for me many days! I miss those salads a lot on P2.

Lovely Losers 2021 - "Awesome in AUGUST"

    Hi everyone!

Well, the creep trend is upward, not down. I should technically do a steak day again since I am .2 over LDW+2 but I am going to just sit back and see. I am eating how I want to eat and none of these foods have given me trouble in the past. Going to stay away from nuts, plantain chips, and wine for now just to be as clean as possible. Seems like both jumps were after this combo. Will remove soft cheeses too if that doesnít work but I eat very little of that so that wonít be a problem. This time of year though with the tomatoes and basil from my yard, one has to have mozzarella on hand! So good.
Anyway, Monday was 151.8. Today 151.4. Eating mostly yogurt, some berries, meat, chicken, fish, eggs, veggies, and some Lilyís chocolate. Between the yeast infection and UTI who knows. Both seem to go for a day or two only to then come back again. So annoying but not severe enough at all to warrant a doc visit and antibiotics. Watching things. Taking OTC and herbs etc.

Thanks for the UVA Ursi reminder, Robenika. I m interested in the things your daughter has tried. Thanks!

Karen, what work do you do? Good luck organizing and getting ready! Congrats on the new contract!
