    Hello everyone,

I am also creeping upwards, not sure if it was from the cream cheese and keto crackers I ate...only 3 of them, or that bite I took out of a num brownie or the late night strawberries I ate... I had such a sweet tooth yesterday it wasn't even funny!! It was bad!! But a creep up no doubt!

Yesterday I had a breakfast sausage patty, two eggs and coffee with hwc. I had albacore tuna for lunch with celery, a small dill pickle and about 5 pickled jalepenos mixed in with dukes mayo, ate about 1/2 the can. for a snack I ate about 3 keto crackers with cream cheese, dinner I had orange roughy fried with and egg wash and dredged in almond flour/pork rind crumbs with green beans and mushrooms, about 9pm had about 5 strawberries and also some lillys chocolate and a bit of a num brownie. I can't remember if I had anything else. I don't typically write it down.

Mrsstrong, we do park & playground construction.

I am up 1.2#s this am, although haven't had a bm since Sunday, but I was pretty cleared out then. Who knows why the uptick. I am eating very little carbs, other then what is naturally found in veggies/fruit. So, now I am .7 above my LIW. I already have a terrible sweet tooth again today. Had an apple to try and calm it and really didn't help so I just had a keto fat bomb... probably not a great choice but man... anything you guys eat in P3 that calms a sweet tooth??

So far today I have had 1 cup of coffee with hwc, an apple, 1 sausage patty, 1 egg and a keto fat bomb! I really have to do better with more water tho.... I do great in P2, but not so much in P3. I am just eating when I am hungry and trying to make good choices but it is tough. P3 is so much harder then P2 for me.

I do feel like my hair falling out has maybe slowed a bit, still coming out but doesn't seem to be as bad as it was last week. "knock on wood". I also plan on doing a lot more exercising which I know can make the scale jump up a bit as well so I am a bit nervous to get started on that. :/ Or at least not when the scale keeps inching up in the wrong direction.

Phoebe, are you tracking your calories? I find it's really easy for me to over eat with my keto diet, if I don't log my eating. I use FatSecret on my phone.

I like 4 squares of Trader Joe's 85% dark chocolate, or 1/2 cup of raspberries or blackberries when I need something sweet.

Lovely Losers 2021 - "Awesome in AUGUST"

    Karen, some sweets:
    1. Roasted vegetables. No donít frown at me. Roasting peppers onions green beans asparagus etc. at over 400į in the oven, or charring them in a skillet brings out the sugar in them. It doesnít add sugar, it just makes them taste very sweet. Combined with a good protein with your meal, they are a way to have something sweet.
    2. More on a treat or dessert side, outshine fruit Popsicles make no sugar added ones, much fruit juice in them but only 25 cal and 2 g Iíve sugar, very low-carb. They have a variety of sweeteners in them and those can be problematic for me as in an upset system, but one a day is plenty and itís a real popsicle. I love to grab one as I go out the door on my way back to work after lunch & eat one while I drive. Carefully.
    3. Now for something really extravagant. Costco has ice cream bars that have the name Keto like a brand name with a capital letter. First ingredient is cream, next ingredient chocolate. They are sweetened with Erythritol, Sucralose, monk fruit and stevia. 2 net carbs. 180 caloriesónot P2! That erythritol can cause severe Ö uh Quick Step. But I can have one w no problem. Not 2. Never 2!!

Oh, and they are probably best eaten naked in the middle of the backyard. Lol. Remember when you were a kid and the chocolate on an ice cream bar would just splinter off and hit your clothes everywhere leaving melted chocolate? Well these are very like the original kind. I have to put a dish towel over myself in order to save my clothes, no matter how careful I am!

    Hope those help!

    Happy hump day!

For sweets on P3, I stick with a coco crack from the old days-warm up coconut oil, mix with a packet of truvia add vanilla & coco, pour in some kind of container (I use mini ice cube trays) and freeze. Also pretty amazing with almonds crunched up. Or I might buy a bar of the highest dark chocolate I can find and have one square a day (or 2 if its a bad day).
Sweets are quite the trigger for me so I try not to eat them cuz in certain moods I can abuse them! Also, the almond butter with celery that Dubbles likes its an excellent go to.
AFM-well today finally broke my stall with a half a pound so now am on day 10 with a solid 10 gone. Thank goodness. I guess I will be chipping away the next 20 days but thankfully no hunger so all good. Getting ready for a deluge of rain so makes for an extremely stressful ride home later.
Have a great day everyone & stay safe!

Thank you all for the sweet recommendations!! And veggies for sure can be sweet...but my sweet tooth was talking more like a snickers bar or something. I will never forget when I did this diet years ago having some iceburg lettuce and being able to taste the sweetness of it!! Crazy!! I have not been counting calories at all, I will look into that app, thanks gz! Last night I ended up eating about 8 very large blackberries and also had a handful of popcorn.

So today, not sure why but I was down .9#'s. I didn't eat cheese or nuts yesterday so perhaps those are the reason for the uptick, but who knows. I will add those again soon and see. I think the first few days of P3 are always so hard especially since for weeks you have barely anything in your system and then BAM.... a lot more is added. Today is P3 day 5 for me, I am hoping things start to level out soon. Fingers crossed.

Well, I need to get off the computer now and keep my pups quiet while my daughter has a zoom meeting to higher ups at the publishing company she is freelancing for... gotta go.

    Have a good day everyone.

Good to hear your P2 I going well, RK!

Karen, I love Lily’s chocolate for something sweet, as well as Rebel Creamery keto ice cream. So maybe delicious flavors. My P2 smoothy also satisfies my need for something sweet and creamy so I am still making that. That said, like 2many writes: I stay away and when I have something sweet it is in very small amounts. I seem to have a threshold for what I an eat without waking the crab monster. When it wakes, it’s awful. Glad to hear the 1.2 is coming down! Btw, I can’t have mushrooms, and neither can Leez I believe (or maybe it was Coco). Weirdest thing but I figured that one out last P3! Can’t have coconut either.

Yay, on breaking the stall, 2many! Great losses! I hope you stay dry!

If you like Lily's, try Trader Joe's 85% - I think it's flavor is more intense, and the carbs are quite low. I typically am satisfied with 1/4 bar. It's 94 cal with only 5 g carbs.

Interesting about the mushrooms! Hmmmm... I did eat a small amount yesterday that was leftover but it was pretty early in the day and not too many. Maybe that could be an issue. I know I can't eat cabbage in P2 so I always avoid it in P3 as well. And I love the Lillys chocolate. I do have a small piece every now and then. I'll have to try the trader joe's one, except our trader joes is in a terrible parking lot here which is a pain in the *** to get in and out of so I don't go there too often. But when I do, I'll get some of that chocolate gz talks about.

I avoid Trader Joe's for anything else - I just buy 15 - 17 bars of that 85% every couple of months - it's in the displays right by checkout.

Others that are pretty good: Alter Eco Deep Dark Chocolate and Kroger Private Selection 85%

Polly thanks for this post, gonna actually blog this post. I especially agree with no. 1 about the veggies, roasting them, they are so delicious that way, in p3, you can use some olive oil and some parm cheese and they are delicious! So, so good. And cooked enough to carmelize, like you said almost sweet! And will have to try the Costco ice cream bars that are messy! I find most Costco products are excellent, so will definitely try those. Messy items are usually quite tasty! Ha Will check them out.

As for me, Phoebe, I love the Lily's sugar free semi sweet chocolate chips, I just have a small handful with coffee (not on p2 of course) and it is dessert), and satisfies that sweet tooth. Or I fix 5per cent fat fage with sugar free chocolate syrup with whipped cream cheese and stevia , and have it like pudding for dessert. It's good too. I have found this year I have done less food combining than I used to, and have really focused on if eating fats then not many carbs in the meal and if more carbs then not much fats. But limited carbs for the most part. And dairy--like yogurt kinda have alone, That's how I have done things this year. Not much rhyme or reason I guess. And some days a lot of mostly protein, lots of tuna salad and maybe plantain chips for meals, then maybe dessert separately, or just protein for breakfast, Haven't had much trouble stablizing. But you never know when that will change.

I am gonna try those ice creams Polly mention when I get to P4, or can you eat those on P3, Polly? Sound delicious!

I know mrsstrong told me to finish my round strong, but I don't think I'm going to do that, we'll see. I'm back to it and have done it right the last couple of days. This morning was down, .6, weighed in at 155, so 5 lbs to go to goal. I just don't know that I will be able to stay at 150 when I get there and around 160 was not difficult. It is so totally rogue to do a 2 week round, and then go on to P3, but I am ashamed to admit I am considering it--Leez, look away and don't read this. Has anyone ever done that? I may regret this, and may not even do it--but on September 10 and Sept 11, both days have events to go to--but went ahead and started p2 anyway, why did I do that! I', going to decide for myself what to do my Tuesday the 7th, and will let everyone know then. I am going to order more hcg, just in case I screw everything up and will need to later fix it by doing this--I'm just not sure right now what I'm going to do.

Jeanette, Yay on the break of your stall! Day 10 and 10 lbs gone! Glad your hunger is resolved as well. Thankfully I don't ever seem to suffer with hunger issues, just mental issues! Ugh!
