Happy Saturday Everyone! Always good to hear from ones from the past, and I really respect anyone that has had the will power and determination to start in the middle of holiday season. I thought about it, and even ordered some hcg patches, thinking I might do that, figuring it would be easier and quicker to transition off of homeopathic if I couldn't hang during the season after all. What happened is for some reason, the patches didn't seem to stay on, don't know what was wrong. I only put one on, and it didn't stay on even 2 days, and my mind really wasn't in the game anyway--so I gave it up. But I really respect you guys for going for it.
I'm with misscast, I'm really interested in doing a round to reset my brain. I know I'm more into eating senseless carbs and sugars than I have been for months and months. And the hcg mindset is like she said, to use food for fuel and not so much as a pasttime. And to eat more healthy foods. We went on vacation in November and it seems it's been a downward slide since then. Not horrible, but like I'm really getting into bad mindset and habits. Before then--all year I've been below my LDW, or not above it. After that trip I edged up a lb or two, and in December I have slowed edged up so that this morning i am 4 lbs over my LDW. What makes it difficult for me is I really prefer the extra weight gain as it first goes to my face, it really makes my face not look so gaunt, at least I think so. Oh it goes to belly a little too--but it won't stop there. I know how this goes, so I have to start a round at some point. I have to get off sugars again. I don't feel as good eating sugars.
I have a question for anyone reading--I have rx hcg for injections, drops (so inconvenient), pellets, and even patches (didn't stay on), does anyone have first hand experience in where they seemed to lose their weight when using a particular hcg medium? For some reason I feel like I vaguely remember someone saying they used one medium of hcg and lost less from face than rx, or vice-versa? Cannot for life of me remember.
Good luck and again kudos to all of you on your
protocols during this next week--I'm going to plan on starting after New Year's , may load New Year's Eve and New Year's Day--haven't decided exactly. And definitely want to do a full 35 day round, for a full reset, even tho I don't have very much to lose--will have to see how that goes. May do a planned interruption mid round, long rounds are difficult for me. We'll see, but I think they work best for maintenance.
Just thought I'd add I read posts often, It has been so quiet here on forums... often read in car and since I don't have tap a talk I can't reply right after reading, unfortunately. But be assured there are many like me out here, reading and cheering for all of you on
protocol. We know how difficult it can be and are proud of you, and love reading of your successes!
