Happy Saturday Everyone! Always good to hear from ones from the past, and I really respect anyone that has had the will power and determination to start in the middle of holiday season. I thought about it, and even ordered some hcg patches, thinking I might do that, figuring it would be easier and quicker to transition off of homeopathic if I couldn't hang during the season after all. What happened is for some reason, the patches didn't seem to stay on, don't know what was wrong. I only put one on, and it didn't stay on even 2 days, and my mind really wasn't in the game anyway--so I gave it up. But I really respect you guys for going for it.

I'm with misscast, I'm really interested in doing a round to reset my brain. I know I'm more into eating senseless carbs and sugars than I have been for months and months. And the hcg mindset is like she said, to use food for fuel and not so much as a pasttime. And to eat more healthy foods. We went on vacation in November and it seems it's been a downward slide since then. Not horrible, but like I'm really getting into bad mindset and habits. Before then--all year I've been below my LDW, or not above it. After that trip I edged up a lb or two, and in December I have slowed edged up so that this morning i am 4 lbs over my LDW. What makes it difficult for me is I really prefer the extra weight gain as it first goes to my face, it really makes my face not look so gaunt, at least I think so. Oh it goes to belly a little too--but it won't stop there. I know how this goes, so I have to start a round at some point. I have to get off sugars again. I don't feel as good eating sugars.

I have a question for anyone reading--I have rx hcg for injections, drops (so inconvenient), pellets, and even patches (didn't stay on), does anyone have first hand experience in where they seemed to lose their weight when using a particular hcg medium? For some reason I feel like I vaguely remember someone saying they used one medium of hcg and lost less from face than rx, or vice-versa? Cannot for life of me remember.

Good luck and again kudos to all of you on your protocols during this next week--I'm going to plan on starting after New Year's , may load New Year's Eve and New Year's Day--haven't decided exactly. And definitely want to do a full 35 day round, for a full reset, even tho I don't have very much to lose--will have to see how that goes. May do a planned interruption mid round, long rounds are difficult for me. We'll see, but I think they work best for maintenance.

Just thought I'd add I read posts often, It has been so quiet here on forums... often read in car and since I don't have tap a talk I can't reply right after reading, unfortunately. But be assured there are many like me out here, reading and cheering for all of you on protocol. We know how difficult it can be and are proud of you, and love reading of your successes!

    Hi Dubbles,

Good to see you on here. If youíre loading up around New Years, you will be starting right as Iím coming back from my PI. As for your question, Iíve only done this protocol via RX injections, injecting around 6 am daily.

I do see that the Lippman, HCG 2.0 seems to post slower losses as a trend, but not certain because I generally stick to OP, but usually donít eat the crackers, mix my veggies, and will have tuna in water on occasion. I have, however, also done a round where I didnít have much to lose and paced myself by having 3 servings of protein all round to do the full 30 days. I was rogue with that and those losses were rock solid.

After minimal losses yesterday, I was rewarded with a nice 1.4 loss today. Today is VLCD 19 and I have 3 more injection days before PI.

Good to see you back, Dubbles!

I had my best round with hhcg tablets, once per day, taken about 9:00 pm.

I have used injections and drops, too. But only the first round, which was with injections, gave me 15 lb losses. My most recent round with the tablets, was 12 lb loss.

    Good morning!

I lost 1.4 lbs this weekend. Today is surgery and tomorrow is my last injection before PI. Iíve gotten 16.4 lbs released in 20 days of dieting and think I will probably have a small gain tomorrow due to inflammation. Today Iím 6.4 lbs from goal, which will set me up nicely after the PI as long as I donít gain during the PI.

If anybody has any P2 recipes that donít require a lot of chewing, please share. I wonít have the opportunity to change up my diet until morning of the 24th. I do have a broccoli soup recipe for that time.

    A couple ideas:

Blend your chicken breast with broth and a P2 veggie for a creamy soup. I like cabbage, fennel, celery, or onion.

You can make a pretty yummy shake with low fat cottage cheese and your orange or strawberries, ice, vanilla and sweetener. Or freeze the cottage cheese first and make a soft-serve icecream.

Note: a portion of chicken breast has 3 grams fat, so you don't have to use fat-free cottage cheese as long as yours is close to that guideline for the serving.

Scrambled egg or egg drop soup with your one whole egg and 3 whites. Make a green smoothie with fresh spinach and one of your fruits and sweeten to taste. If you need more flavor, brew up some strong herbal tea to use for the liquid in the smoothie.

I had P2 Pho last night after my procedure from a recipe I found and modified online. First of all, it was delicious and comforting. It had miracle noodles and bean sprouts and the procedure had me concerned about posting a small gain.

To my pleasant surprise, I dropped an additional 1.4 lbs. Today is my last injection before transitioning into a PI beginning Friday morning through the 1st of the year. My losses for the first 21 VLCDís are 17.8 lbs. Iím very happy I decided to just jump in and get the losses started during the holiday season. My time back on VLCDís should be very short after the first of the year.

I"m glad things are going so well for you. When you re-enter P2, you will want to have an absolute minimum of 4 days on your HCG dose before you transition to P3. Anything less than that can cause problems in the transition and beginning of P3. We usually recommend a 5-7 day minimum, as otherwise, it really doesn't make much sense to start up again.

Thanks wilsonblack and Savannah. You're both doing great, it seems :-)

DivineMissM - Obsession is the right word! At least a couple days a month anyway. And, yes, nobody's weight creeps up in daily 1/4LB increments right in front of your eyes (or scale.) We'd nip that baby in the bud!
For me, I have a bad day or feel bloated or, fill-in-the-blank, so stop weighing myself daily. Time passes and then, oopsie, how did I get up 4LBs? And runaway train? Perfect analogy.

Dubbles - GTSY! Maybe we'll be on the same schedule.

gz9gjg - I also do hHCG pellets and am interested in your dosage sched. You do one dose/day at 9PM?

Yes, misscast - mine are once per day from InsideOutWellness. It was more convenient for me to take them in the evening, the time of day doesn't matter though it's best up be consistent.

Thank you again Leez. Since Iím 24 shots in today, I will resume a minimum of 6 days (or longer) to reach the 30 injection mark for the full reset and good stability. :ē)
