    From your reports, its obvious your Penny had the best life you could give her and the most peaceful, loving death. I hope your memories of her are sweet and joyful once the sadness passes.

    PearlyMae, wasn't unexpected, but still in tears to hear about Penny. And so sorry her sis is grieving, looking for her. You will know when it is time to get another. Another won't replace her, but I think it might be good at some point for the both of you, when you feel you're ready. Many loving thoughts and virtual hugs being sent your way. It's just so dadgone hard to lose our furbabies. But she suffered for a while, no longer suffering. Hope you all can find some joy this Christmas season together. Worst thing about these furbabies is they don't live long enough! Hope Everyone out there has a Merry Christmas tomorrow and Here's to a Healthy Happy New Year for everyone!

    My heart breaks for you hearing about your Penny. I lost my doggy of 15 years just before Thanksgiving last year. Great job on figuring the maintenance thing out and not needing a tune up round.

    Hi Savannah! This is day 7 as a first time EVER HCG senior gal. Have lost 15.4 this week and made it through Xmas Eve without going over 600 calories. I have a long way to go and looking forward to the victory. Congratulations to you for starting at this time of the year. Nice to meet you. : )

    Welcome, LucyMarin, and you are right, its an investment in a healthier future. You have a great perspective.

    It can be terrifying to think about getting through holiday meals while on plan because there is the feeling of peer pressure to eat, but at some point you realize that what you eat or don't eat doesn't ruin anything for anyone else. In fact most people are so busy with their own thoughts they don't notice. For those that inquire, I generally say something like "I'm doing a temporary elimination diet" and thats the end of it.

    Great attitude, Lucy!

    I used hcg to get back to me, and I look back and wish I had discovered hcg sooner. I went almost 12 years post-menopause and knee problems, and had only temporary success getting the weight off with other methods. Now I know I can always do a correction with hcg if I do drift up - very reassuring.

    Just started writing an answer when I remembered I'd ONLY done homeo. But I can say that my fat loss areas seem to be the same as everyone else - in places we want it to go rather than our face and neck initially.

    Welcome Kerry and yes, what gz9gjg said, it's quiet now due to the holiday season but will def get busier after the 1st.
    Glad you've joined us!

    Me, I'm getting some seasonal goodies in before I start my round after the 1st. Namely - eggnog, which is basically melted ice cream :-)
