I am preparing to start a round, but will be substituting Robb Protein Powder for one meal's protein/day due to my ongoing dental issues. I know this is not OP, and I would prefer to ALWAYS do OP, but I also want to get back to losing after having to stop my round after hitting the minimum doses when I went to a liquid diet. I will be doing at least 3 more rounds, so I am not too concerned about messing up long-term stabilization... It will either work or it won't, but if not, the next round will. In the mean time, I will be able to practice what I have been learning about breaking free from Emotional Eating!

After reading and studying my ebook "Weight Loss Apocalype", I found out that there has been a new edition out since AUGUST! Amazon did not have it indicated on the sales page or even recommended anywhere on the page as an associated item. There is also a second book! It was also not linked or recommended. I called to ask to return the first edition to allow my credit to be used to purchase the second edition, and to suggest the indicate a newer edition is available, and to add the related items at the bottom of the page. I was able to convince them it was a valid request. Unfortunately, I lost all my highlighting in my first Kindle book when it was returned, but I think the book is well worth a second read. The second edition is 52 pages longer... Also, the second edition of the first book, and the second book in the "series" are both available on the Kindle Unlimited Subscription if you are a subscriber to that. I want to keep the first book as I have major food issues . The second book I will read as a borrowed book first, and then decide whether or not to purchase.

My goal at this time is to NOT set any goal regarding weight loss this round. I will only eat when hungry, and stop eating when no longer hungry (making sure to not exceed 500 calories per day). I will be even more faithful in journaling this round, adding notes about my hunger/fullness levels before and after each meal/snack.

It will be an interesting month, with HOPEFULLY my ability to chew properly restored by the end of February, or early March. But, I hope to learn even more than I thought from my vacation from regularly chewing food... that I can find new ways to find satisfaction and pleasure, and that I don't always need to find distractions from boredom and pain... but when I do, they don't need to involve FOOD!
    I am Roni (Ronnie)

I feel you on the dental work, I've had some pretty major stuff and it is not fun. I think you have a good plan tho.

    Starbucks
Congratulations on hitting your mark-hard work pays off even in small increments, at the end its all soo worth it.

Me-I lost .8 and am on Day 21 have now lost 18.6. I didn't really have a number goal just wanted to lose as much as possible. I have 2 patches left and another round in a package so I will probly just let it ride and take a break & then start up again.
    Have a great day everybody!

    Good morning, lovelies!

    Starbucks... AMAZING loss! Congrats!

I've been doing OP this round, minus grissini. Well, yesterday I added grissini to help bring my calories closer to 500 without trying to choke down more vegetables. 7.5 calories 2x per day feels like a big deal right now. During "soup season" that little grissini also makes me feel more human. lol

I'm still in a stall of sorts, but -as usual- whatever. As long as I'm not hungry and I'm following protocol, my hcg is working its magic.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Ladies, Always good to hear how people are doing, and where they are in this journey.

Tightwad I am with you on the 2nd edition of the Weight - Loss Apocalypse Book, but I actually did see a link for the 2nd edition, AFTER I had gotten the first. I ordered it, and stopped my reading of the first, just heading on to the second edition. It's all interesting. My only thing about the hcg protocol, you are supposed to eat the 2 protein portions daily, so even if not hungry you are supposed to eat. It was interesting to me when they said to observe kids, they can be so busy, so engaged in activities they ususally want to stop to eat only when their body signals hunger. I know one of my grans for sure is like that. He'll wait till he almost crashes to eat. We, adults tend to signal them when to eat by our predetermined breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedules. And omg, I was definitely raised to finish everything on my plate. Fortunately most moms these days are not so adamant in that regard. Messed a lot of us up, I think. Haven't finished the book, but I certainly believe she has very valid arguments and observations, need to think on a lot of it. I'm so like you, I highlight any kind of book like this. That's why I really love physical books you can handle. Hope your dental issues are largely resolved by the end of this month. Sometimes we have to go with the flow that life presents us.

Way to go Starbucks. Your're a hard worker, glad you got where you wanted to go. Enjoy P3!

Jeanette, great drop! Anything over .5 is a great drop to me. Your round seems to be going good. Like you, I didn't put a particular lb. loss goal to my round. Just wanted to see how well it went, and if it still works after all these years, glad to know it does.

Kar, looks like from you ticker you only have another 7 lbs to go to reach goal, so it may be that your losses slow up a bit, but you'll get there. All good, since you are following protocol and NOT HUNGRY. That's the magic!

AFM: Had a good loss on yesterday a.m. weigh-in, but per usual, now up a bit--.4 up. I did have p2 chile yesterday, it was pretty good, but beef. I think is only the 2nd time I've had beef on this round. Maybe a touch of water fluctation this morning. I'm not going to worry about it. I want to eventually get to the point I really am not scale obssessed. While on HCG protocol, and in P3 especially, seems like you have to be scale conscious. Mindful of the dreaded 2 lb over LDW. I am on vlc day 26, add in my 2 dose days while loading, then subtracting the 2 skip days I took--brings me to 26 actual HCG days on this round. My vial of Hcg is getting really low--I may have 2 more days of injections, don't know if even three. I believe it was a 28 day vial. I plan on another 4 dose days, to get to a 30 day round. So looks like I will need to open up one of those bottles of drops for 2 days. Kind of disappointing. I'm torn, I'm going to a PI for 10-12 days.... should I just finish the vial and not open a bottle of drops for a couple of doses. Then just add the day or two to the finish of Round 1 on other side of PI? I was planning on a 10 day finish to Round 1 after interruption, guess I could make it a 12 day P2 on the other side. That way there will be definitely 3 days off of hcg before my Planned interruption onto p3 begins--and I wouldn't need to double up on drops and injections for a day or two before transitioning. Makes a little more sense. If I were going to lose 3 lbs that last day, maybe continue that day or two, BUT THAT WON'T HAPPEN at this stage of round! Ok, just figured out what I'll do. Just go until this vial is finished. Maybe I can squeeze 3 injections out of it. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Thank you ladies! Once I got rid of the grissini temptation I lost the rest. I just know that if I have temptation around I will give on so keep it out of sight.

I woke up to 144.4 so another lb gone and I did enjoy more whole milk yesterday. Tomorrow should be my full P3 start date. I had a big portion of cod last night and it didnít do any harm. I am down 25.4 lbs and technically my LDW was 147.2 but Iím going to try to maintain 145. I havenít been this weight in a long time. It will be easier to maintain since I donít drink anyone and I exercise daily. Just need to use my restraint that I do for alcohol with foods.

Eating fats and protein and food in its pure form is delicious and not a punishment lol. I also remember how I feel after eating dirty and I donít like it.

Gonna keep checking in and cheering you on and sharing my stats.

I will say that I didnít have control work grissini during my last week and so I just remained the same rather than losing. If that is a trigger for you just get it out of the house!

I hope you all had great losses and a wonderful day!

Oh and what supplements do yíall take for P3. Do people still do L-Carnitine?

    Hello dear Lovelies,

I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I am still maintaining my weight loss in my 2 pound window. I have been in P4 since the end of November/ beginning of December.

I'm sorry that I have not been around. My dear dad passed away very unexpectedly right before Christmas. He was 92 and was not ill, in fact we had a routine visit with the doctor the day before as he had pneumonia the previous month and he got high marks for doing really well. The doctors were just as shocked as we were. I have been very sad, there has been drama with my brother, but the good news is my mom is doing well and I am grateful that I had dad around as long as I did. Also, happy that this sad loss did not lead to me losing control of my weight....

I have started walking in the house again when I am on the phone. I am slowly starting to exercise--slowoly so I don't injure myself. I am also incorporating more veggies and trying as usual to avoid sweets (my big temptation).

I hope you are all doing great and I am sending everyone strength and positive vibes! I will read back and look forward to catching up with everyone.

    Fondly,
    RK

I am so sorry to hear about your father. I lost my mom in 2018 and it was beyond difficult. Sending love and hugs.

I caved a little last night and had avocado on my salad and more milk and some HWC in my coffee. I woke up to 145.2 and since I added more food I expected it. All is well now. Just need to get some fatty food going and embark on my P3. So happy itís the weekend as Iím ready to chill!!!

Starbucks, are you on P3 now , or was this supposed to be a transition day? I was thinking you were already transitioned. I am thinking you definitely would like to be by Sunday, for SuperBowl. I have no doubt you will do well. Have fun Sunday! Stay in touch Starbucks, let us know how the P3 is going.

rkthin, Hello, you were prob on these threads in recent months, and January was my first time in years. So meeting for first time. So sorry to hear about your Father's passing unexpectedly in December. I know it is difficult when not expected, but I sure hope when I go it is swift, much better for everyone all the way around. Glad your Mother is doing ok. Sounds like you are doing great on maintenance. Frankly, that is where the discipline really is required, I think. I'll be going into a PI next week, then back to a p2 for about 10-11 days to finish out a proper Round of 40 days. Hoping I can do as well!

Hi Sunshine! I bet you are a busy bee today, this weekend, getting ready for family to come! I looked up the receipe on your instagram for salad dressings--and omg, the food on that site is to die for!. Looks like you are used to cooking for a crowd. That's awesome! Did you cook a lot of the dishes on that site? The food looked gorgeous, and so do you!. We are huge olive oil fans, chicken marinated in olive oil and spices, cooked on grill--we will definitely be doing when in P3. And the same with asparagus and veggies roasted with olive oil and spices. That has become the only way we like to cook veggies.

AFM: I'll be joining people in P3 eating, after I transition out of my hcg . I know I'm repeating myself, but I know I have enough hcg in vial for Saturday and Sunday injections, but not sure there will be enough for Monday, which is what I'd like to do. Hmm, wonder if I lowered the dose a tiny bit? Wonder if that is a bad idea? Leez, if you read this, what is your take on lowering the dose to try and squeeze out one more day--that would take me to full 30 day on vlc. Then when I circle bACK AFTER PI, iI could do another 10 days. My dose now is perfect for me, has been all of this round. It's prob a little high for some people, but the 170 iu has always been my sweet spot, I learned that years ago.

Oh, and woohoo, I dropped a full 2 lbs at weigh in this morning. Awesome! Hope everyone else is doing well. This 4th week is generating best loss since week 1. Hope it continues, for a few more days, but I generally go up after a great loss. We will see.

Hope everyone else is doing good--its Friday! TGIF

    Good morning all,
(well, late morning, for me! sloooowly she raises her head off the pillow....)

I was having a hard time getting up this morning, until my little old lady Schnauzer came in, cleared her throat and proceeded to barf on my pillow. THAT woke me up. (She's fine. A little proud of herself, and no more dried chicken chews for her, but fine.)

    It's all about perspective, huh?

I found myself reading all the HCG threads on Tapatalk this morning. I almost forgot to go to work! Luckily, I work from home.

Such great information and so many of you are so inspiring. Seems everyone has a day or two of struggle, but then they come out of it and use it to help others. Perspective again.

My hcg--still no sign of its arrival. As one of the threads I read this morning reiterated, no Hcg is actually manufactured in the US and most of it comes from India, and is repackaged in US, so I order from India directly. Usually, I get it in about 2 weeks, but it says right on the site that it may be as much as 4. So much cheaper, but slow this time around.

I really don't want to do this anyway, but to be honest, I am getting sick of food. I can't think of anything to order from Door Dash that I want, no fast food sounds good, I don't want to cook... so really, tilapia and spinach might as well be for supper. I enjoyed getting mistaken for a teenager (okay, from the back...) for the past 7 years and I don't like this THICK Apple on a STICK that I have returned to being. Matronly is not my thing. Elderly is on the horizon but I can still kick and scream on the way.

Congrats to all for losses and for hanging in on those days we all get with no losses and even gains. It all evens out. No one loses EVERY day. It's average losses that add up, or in this case, subtract down, and you can't have an average based on one day.

    Soon. But not today.

    Onward!

My last injection was on 2/2. I was 147.2 and then dropped to 144.4 yesterday. Had feta and avocado and HWC yesterday and was 145.2 today. I am officially on P3 now and I have no idea what I want to eat Lovely Losers 2021- FIT & FINE in February!!. I know I need to start slow which I struggle with. I was able to tolerate dairy and almond butter last time so crossing my fingers. I have bacon in the fridge and NY Strips were in mega sale so I have four in my fridge Lovely Losers 2021- FIT & FINE in February!! I should be sick of steak but I love it. Gonna use butter and blue cheese.

I have had heavy cream this morning and need to eat but Iím not hungry. Go figure. I am going to get some jay robb so I can do protein shakes in the morning.

    I welcome meal ideas!!
