    Talking Lovely Losers 2021-Just JOVIAL in JUNEl!!

    Hello to all of the Lovely Losers out there from Coco. This is your thread for JUNE 2021.


    This joyful group of HCGíers have been starting new threads every month for years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join in.

    Please note as you read through the posts:

    Good morning , hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend! I'm up a little earlier than usual. Weigh in was up .4, so .2 below LDW. I'm totally ok with the weigh-in. Ate lots of beef yesterday, as I had a leftover burger for lunch. and Then we cooked out and had sirloin steak with roasted in olive oil zuchinni, squash, and asparagus --with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It was good, but I'm sure not low calorie. Working on back porch, pressure washing, cleaning all the pillows, etc-so worked really hard, exhausted last nite and still sore today. Yesterday I did have pnut butter with celery for snacking. So I am pleased with weighin. Knew there would be a slight uptick. Always amazes me how much you can eat on P3, I like it here!

    Dubbles, I may jump onto this thread if more Junies don't show up in the June starter thread. It's lonely over there! VLCD #2 for me. Sigh......P3 a long way away for me. I need to pressure wash my back patio as well. Thinking that might not be so fun in P2. I may break it up over a few days! KMac

    Well, everyone is gone. It was a great time but I am exhausted. Forgot to weigh yesterday and today but hopefully I am fine. Had a Margarita one evening but other than that nothing out of the ordinary P3 stuff though I suspect the deviled eggs someone made to have contained sugar. OMG who does that???

    Canít wait to see how everyone is doing!

    Good morning Lovelies! I had a successful P4 weekend. I crept up in weight for both Saturdays and Sundays weigh in but stayed just within LDW. We had a neighborhood cookout Sunday night and I was really good food wise but definitely indulged in a few sugar free adult beverages. I decided not to weigh yesterday morning, but instead did a fast until dinner. Ate a nice big dinner and woke up to .6 under LDW. I’m officially in week 3 of P4 and I’m happy to report it’s going well so far!

    Welcome Kmac and any other new or returning P2ers! This thread is for all phases, and the reason there are currently many P3s is because they all just had successful P2 rounds!

    My P3 report: I made an obvious mistake yesterday, and I made it twice. Iím ok, in fact down a teense.

    But I had to guesstimate how much almond butter I had mid-afternoon and how much sour cream dip I had w how many pork rinds in the evening.

    I donít want to count calories forever, but for now in P3 I found I was grossly over estimating what I was eating, so need to continue tracking until I get the hang of it.

    Maybe if I didnít live alone, I wouldnít have developed the bad habit of eating chips, or pork rinds, out of the bag, or scooping up dip or almond butter out of the containers. Never gave it a thought: every thing here is MINE.

    Yeah, and just how much of MY food did I eat? So I did my best guesses and may have had 1795 calories ... the closest to 1800 that I have had in a while. But maybe I underestimated and I had over 2000+ or, as is my tendency, I guessed high and had < 1500.

    Ugh. Ok, I will try to eat like a Lady and take out an KNOWN AMOUNT prior to eating. That was a bad habit formed when eating junk.

    Lessons... so many lessons!

    PS: vet cant see the little old Schnauzers until next Saturday so am hoping I can keep them comfortable this week. Im on the list to call if they have a cancellation. We may have some sun today and both dogs got themselves up and outside (into knee-high wet grass) (their knees, which are 4 to 6 inches off the ground) so thatís progress.

    Kmac, you are very welcome here, there is a lot of p3 talk here, don't let it discourage you. We have all been thru the exciting but difficult days of p2. I did post on that thread, didn't want you to feel lonely over there. There is a thread that I think is worthy of reading, although she doesn't post now, but so informative--Divine Miss M, something like that. Her musings were so insightful when I was on P2, interesting just to read. I went back and read a lot of old threads while on p2. But by all means, jump right in!

    Good morning everyone!! Well I survived the holiday weekend at exactly my LDW weight. Yesterday I got in over 1800 calories and made some pretty bad choices.... had a few tortilla chips with a lot of quac, had tri tip and ribs (with sauce) with more quacamole, had a few drinks but they were sugar free... I'm just thankful I wasn't over my LDW by 2 pounds! Today will be a better day eating wise since the bbq's are over and my husband is out of town working....

    I have to leave to take my dog over to a doggie day care so he gets used to it before we head out of town next week. I will check back later and read how everyone is doing.

I know some of it is inflammation but on. 5/24 I was 150.8 and today o was 158.2.     Don' t they say 1 lb gain is 3500 calories over what you need? With almost 8 lb gain, it means you wouldv'e had to consumed additional 28000 calories. I don't believe you did that. A lot of that gain is from water retention nd probably sensitivities to certain foods--if you get on top of it right now, I'm sure it will go down like our load weight does So don't despair, just back on task. I know what you mean tho about sugar, I just don't have control once I get started -- I have to talk to myself as soon as I walk in the grocery store-every time- tell myself I don't eat that junk anymore, because it is everywhere in the grocery, before you walk in the store proper! No wonder so many of us have weight issues. And I fight it everytime. I just hope those cravings will someday go away so that I don't even notice those foods. When my husband stopped drinking (and he HAD to stop) he craved sugar a lot--he would eat a half gallon of ice cream every other day. So there is that too. It is certainly a marathon and not a sprint, but you can do this, if you want. You look great, but I know those feelings of no control are unsettling. So hoping a few weeks in p2 will allow you to reset? Hope your day today is going well

    JGD, You are doing absolutely great, and example to all of us on how to do the progressive phases! Good job!

    Mrsstrong, I wish I could forget to weigh. But everyday, I focus on the scales first thing--and unfortunately it often determines my mood for the morning. Glad you had a great time with your company this past weekend, company is fun, but exhausting. When my kids come home --two extra adults with 5 boys in tow, I said it is like an invasion. They bring games, super hero figures and costumes, athletic equipment, gaming systems, the noise of 7 more people, it is like an invasion, seriously. I love it! But I admit when they leave I am EXHAUSTED. They will be coming July 4th holiday, and I can't wait!

    Pearly, isn't it awesome to eat say 1800, maybe even 2000 calories and go down a teensey bit?! Gotta love the hcg reset. Sending well wishes to the little ladies living in the house Are they sisters?

    I already shared about myself earlier, but if anyone missed it not much to report. Was up .4 from yesterdays weigh in, but that is ok, still .2 under my last dose weight, and I ate quite a bit yesterday sausage for breakfast, a leftover burger for lunch and steak and roasted veggies for dinner--plus pnut butter on celery for snacking. I am totally fine. I feel like I need to figure out a few other p3 foods , tonite I plan on having fish and a salad. So don't think my calories will be up enough We'll see.

    Hell Lovelies,

    P3 D3 and all is well so far-sih. I am 1.4 over my LDW but still in the window! I have been enjoying summer fruit.

    Mrs. Strong I think it may be the Pickle relish in Deviled eggs? I bet that stuff has sugar!

    Welcome to all the P2 ers. Yes we were all in P2 and now have graduated, but many will go back to do another round and we will cheer you on.

    Pearly: Good luck on the doggies! I would call them "To check in" as my doctors never look at their cancellation lists?
