But now I either take a REASONABLE portion out before I start or mark on the container how far I should probably go.

Treat it like inflammation. Itíll be fine.

Oh to learn that secret of stopping and getting self control! I used to be so good at it and maintained my weightloss from hcg for years. I hope I can get back there again.

You might try grammy's inflammation smoothie as your last meal today, and add in some cilantro if you have it...its an herbal diuretic and can help unlock some of that extra fluid in your tissues. Also by having the smoothie as your last meal, it gives your body a long stretch of time to resolve the edema before your weigh in tomorrow.
Thanks, Leez! Just seeing this now so it's too late for these suggestions but if I need it tomorrow I will follow up with them. I mostly had protein today except for an avocado and drank a lot. Fingers crossed!

I will throw it away so itís out of the house.

I am going to babysit my niece and nephews while my nephew graduates. Stupid Covid. Kid is amazing and is attending the honors college at University of Oregon. He received three private scholarships as well. Proud of him!!

Leez is right about that inflammation smoothie and o might do one tonight or tomorrow!!

With nuts, I allow myself one handful or one spoonful if a butter or I go overboard. I love nuts but I have to put a limit on them or I snack all day long. They are so hard to resist! Onward tomorrow. That said, no steak day unless 2# over LIW. Steak days will lose their magic if done too much.

You are switching from T-Mobile to Verizon? I just switched the other way. And so far Iím wondering where is this wonderful coverage theyíve been talking about?

I canít text from my CarPlay, my map doesnít work in the car, I couldnít Google how many calories in something from inside the grocery store, and I tried to call my nephew from across the table at red Robin last night and I the call didnít go through. The cost is a LOT lower but how much am I saving when I canít actually use my phone much?

Land-o-Lakes makes a sugar free canned whipped topping like Reddi Whip, but I think it tastes even better. It's hard to find at most stores, but I always manage to find some and begin using it the first couple of days of P3 and never had any issues. I use it on my coffee every day from then on, even in P4.

Wow, I have never heard of those! We just have one of those high-pressure whipped cream makers.

Phfew. Weight is 166.2 so down 1.4. It will probably take a day or two more to even out. It is extremely humid here for our corner of the world and it is making me miserable. Average for June is 64% and it is 90.

    P1 Day 2

Welcome coffeegirl! I'm starting a 20 day P2 tomorrow so glad to have a traveling companion!

Dubbles - there's a post on the blog listing the best sweeteners for P2 and P3: https://hcgdietinfo.com/best-hcg-diet-sweeteners/ I tried Erythritol last time and found it to be not sweet enough, so would always use in combination with stevia. I might try monkfruit this time as my local grocery now stocks it.

mrsstrong - ugh humidity is the worst. When I lived in New York my friend would say it was like living inside a mouth and I would add of someone who just ate soup. No thank you!

AFM - After 3 weeks P3 and another 3.5 P4 I've just started another round. Last round (40 days) was to get back to my pre-pandemic size, and so glad I've been able to maintain that through P3 and P4. I'm hoping this 20 day round will deliver some more inches lost and provide a little buffer.

It's Sunday afternoon, and not a lot to speak of on thread. Sounds like most everyone is doing well--glad you went down mrsstrong. A good weigh in just makes the day's mood better. I agree about too many correction days, lose the magic. When I get really close to 2 lb window, I'll do the mostly protein day too, but eat all day. I just can't handle the fasting till dinner. And this from someone who actually fasted completely, nothing but water for 7 days a couple of years ago. Hubby and I both did it. Now, I don't know how we did it. Good for your loss mrsstrong.

sdwis--I look often for a sugar free whipped topping, and I know I've seen it before at some time, but haven't come across it this year--I'll keep looking. Cool Whip has a sugar free version of Cool Whip, but when I looked at ingredients, it had a lot of suspicious ingredients, I thought, so haven't used it.

Polly, you have such a balanced view of ups and downs of weight, I wish I felt that at peace with it all myself.

Oh, I'm still eating the Jiff sugar free peanut butter in p3. It doesn't seem to bother my weights that much. I don't eat by spoonful, but as filler in celery. And once in a while on a cauliflower bun. The jury is out on those buns, they really have a kind of aftertaste. Think I'll look into something else come P4. Which, by the way, comes knocking next Sunday. Then will have completed 3 weeks of p3.

Hope everyone had a good weekend, a new week about to begin. Oh, weight was up to 163.8 this morning, so .02 above last dose weight. But was out today, came home and weighed about 2 o'clock and weight was 162.6, which is a lb below last dose weight, and lower than this morning. What is up with that? I rarely, if ever, weigh during the day, so this may be a total anomoly and not true weight. I do believe I was up this morning because I cooked fish in air fryer for our dinner, and I must have seasoned too much--it tasted really salty to me. We'll see how it shakes out tomorrow morning. I was getting ready to say this week will be a real challenge for me. I'm very much a home body. We have 2 sets of friends that love to eat out all the time. I just can't do that--that's how I gained weight to begin with, too much restaurant and fast food eating! So this week, will be eating out Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights. And 2 of those nights will involve adult beverages---gonna be difficult to stay on track and not gain, here right before p4 is to start. Eating out reminds me--Friday nite hubby wanted Chick Filet-a chicken tenders, he had never eaten them and someone gave him some and he wanted more. So I picked them up for him, and he insisted I try one -- I took one bite and I swear it tasted sweet! I told him there has to sugar in the preparation of the breading or something. Not having had regular sugar for ages, (except once or twice) the chicken tenders tasted sweet! So I just had the one bite. It was amazing to me they tasted sweet. Anyway, I wish everyone and myself luck this week, that it goes well and we don't sabotage our hard-earned results and work. I just have to be balanced and mindful. I will have some wine, or a drink, and not sure how I'm going to handle the food choices. but I do plan to eat mindfully. Have a great Sunday evening everyone!
