Oh man! Yesterday busy, stressful, etc. Iím organizing our family reunion and one cousin is having a fit threatening to stay at another hotel because he canít have a suite. He wants a sofa in his room, but we blocked a hallway of deluxe rooms with mo sofas. Sigh.

Another cousin has not received any information , as I had a wrong email address, so that whole side of the family is not happy as he was the contact for all of them. All the info is on our family Facebook, btw.

Breathe. No good deed goes unpunished.

I only got 1100 cals in yesterday, but I stayed the same as
yesterday on the scale! Whew! I ate basically the same as the day before but didnít have almond butter w my apple. Thatís a lot of calories.

Iím trying avocado toast today. Iím under LDW so a good day to try toast again.

Also have my sisterís sister-in-law coming tomorrow to see if she can help me update my house and finish the basement for my budget. She is extremely well off and does interior design as a hobby and a business for her rich friends. I have to make sure she is thinking of me as a hobby customer!

So, cleaning clutter and corners today.

Oh, I bought an electric bike! I rode it last night for the first time and it is awesome!

Job interview earlier this week went well, but evidently not well enough. Past deadline for the ďcall.Ē

    Onward!!!

    Good morning everyone!
I come and read off and on to keep up but I am busy. Lots of people over for dinners before my son leaves next week.
I am holding pretty steady still and today is P4 day 15. I have it planned to load 6/23 which would be perfect since my son leaves 6/26 and this allows me to focus on P2. But how to get into that mind set?? LOL I just need to do it as I planned. 4 weeks. Then PI for a week and then the rest.

    Hope everyone does well today!

Lovely Losers 2021-Just JOVIAL in JUNEl!!

In answer to whether that Keto Brownie provides dessert satisfaction, yeah. Small. No chance of overdoing it. Especially at $2.99 each.

Iíve been cleaning house all day and still need to vacuum. Ugh. I cant deal. So I tried the Keto Chocolate Chip cookie. Also $2.99. Also small. Tasted likeÖcake with chocolate chips. Gone quick.

Iím not proud that I needed a cookie to get my work done. That attitude is what gets me in trouble. As someone said recently, better that than a Dairy Queen blizzard!

    OnÖ.gripeÖward!

    Good evening Lovelies,

Got up at o'dark thirty (Pearly that phrase never gets old!) Just got home at 8:20. Good news! Mom is feeling a bit better, the doctor thinks it is just your average flu, which happens when you get out and start playing Bridge and Mah-jong.... More good news! I lost 3 pounds with a steak day, now am back down to the top of my window, 2.4 pounds up from my LIW. I packed a cooler today with lunch, water and snacks. I hope TESS is kind to me and all of us tomorrow!

Well, when my friends were barely eating any of the things they brought me from France, I just really enjoyed every bite. More good news--no leftovers giggle so no temptations in the house.

Pearly thank you for your support. How is everything at your house? That reunion planning sounds very hard. Talk about no appreciation. Any complaints you should just offer to let them plan the whole shebang next year! Fingers crossed for a great new position and that the cleaning is easy and clutter painless to get rid of. How is it you are not hungry????Please share, I'd like that please.

Mrs.Strong: It is great to do a summer round because you will feel cool no matter how hot it is...

Dubbles: I am also soon entering P4! Sunday!

Linderlou: thank yo for the dip recipe. Sounds so good.

Well, I am so tired I will turn in early. Hope everyone has a great evening and morning.
    RK

Karbee: sorry you also get the darn sciatica! It really is awful.Great drop on the scale and sending you good thoughts for a wonderful round.

Kar: Nice to see a post from you! How are you?

JustGitterDone: I think the good part is not to have any left in the house! How are things going for you?

Thanks, RK. He tried to pull the Iím too old to do social media so didnít see posts there. I reminded him I used to babysit him and called him by his baby nickname. Nice try. Donít pull the old card on me!

House is ready for sisterís sister-in-law. Whew. Went through my closet and did a bold thing. All the XL tops I bought at Goodwill last fall and winter are going back to goodwill. Also, bunches more. There are winter clothes and work clothes behind the closet door, but my easy access areas are downright sparse and only have stuff I like and wear!

It took me three years to let go of Fat Clothes the first time.

I had avocado toast for breakfast yesterday and am down .6. So I had it again today. I love eggs, tomatoes and avocado for my usual breakfast, but itís nice to have an alternate quick thing.

How am I not hungry? IDK for sure, but I start the day with a goodly portion of protein or fat or both. Lunch I make sure is mostly protein. From then on, Iím in pretty good shape the rest of the day. Can I sustain? Yeah. IDK that, either. Time will tell.

That lawn is not going to mow itself!!

    Good morning Lovelies!

Pearly good job! I find that now that I have no ďfat clothesĒ I am really diligent about staying in my window! Thank you also for the tips about what to eat! I think I have been eating too much fruit and just like sugar it kind of makes me hungry. This morning I did what you suggested and had two eggs with mushrooms, cheese, and a little butter. Coffee is always black for me but today I added some foamed 2% milk. I feel really full. So maybe separating the fruit from the fats as some have suggested here will help me stay fullÖalso fats in the morning sounds good. When do you have fruit?

    Karbee that is great!

MrsStrong let us know what you decide about your round.

AFM I am holding at exactly 2 pounds over my LIW so careful is the word.

Also, in sad news I have osteoporosis in my hips!!! I use to drink a lot of milk, took calcium pills in my 20s and am surprised. Both of my parents have had bad osteoporosis, fractures, stooped posture so it may be bad genes. The doctor was very blah about itójust told me to take this Boniva once a month. I think I need a new doctorÖ. No discussion of calcium supplements and additional things to do.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
    Fondly,
    RK

Good morning lovelies! Weekend is here, and it has been raining this Saturday morning. Overcast, so glad because it gives grass relief from scorching sun. Hope everyone is doing well, sounds like it.

Polly, You said it, no good deed...when you're organizing for a large group, someone always has to push back somehow! Aggravating. i respect you for taking on that task. I'm with you, when you are busy it is sometimes difficult to get the calories in. I need more quick lunch ideas! I fix a lot of tuna salad, guess I could try chicken salad for a change, or make some slaw--it's been a while since I did that. Good luck with your redecorating projects. Decorating, redoing interior of house, and yard (every year) are my 2 main hobbies. They both can be pretty cost intensive. Spring and summer with new plants, annuals (every year) and more perennials --they are my costliest months of year, plus all 5 grandkids have birthdays in May and June. But I love doing the yard and updating house. Heh, P. tell us about your new electric bicycle. I have an excercise bike, but it is old and it's not comfortable! Have been thinking about another, curious what you got?

mrsstrong, I am assuming the son leaving, is the one going to West Point. That is awesome, enjoy this last week. Good luck on new P2 round, and I love the idea of a PI for a week during the round. Have no doubt you will do great.

RK good luck with P4. Starts Sunday, right? I suffer from arthritis in my knee, and sciatic pain sometimes too. It really hampers exercise for me--tho exercise is supposed to help arthritis. Yeah--but it hurts too much at times.

Karbee, keep up the good work on your P2. I really get into the groove of P2 eating after about a week. I struggle with reduction of food volume that first week.

hI JGD! How is your maintenance going?

Phoebe, are you back from wedding yet? How did everything go? Hope everything went well, and you had a great time.

Would love to hear how Yvonne is doing, she has kinda dropped out. If you are reading this, how ya doin?

Tracy, how you doing? I think you may be traveling with work and vacation right now. Hope it is going well.

I forget exactly who did the Costa Rico trip with family, would love to hear how all that went!

AFM: Start P4 tomorrow. Actually ate P4 last night at dinner with Hubbs family, Had steak, salad, 1 spoonful of mashed potatoes, crisp-tender fresh green beans, cooked in olive oil and spices, 1 chocolate gooey cookie (not a huge one, but homemade), and a coke zero. I took wine but didn't drink. I ate enough to feel satisfied, prob not a whole lot of calories. Was down .4 this morning. So after spending almost 3 weeks (P3) approx a lb above last dose weight, this past week I have gone down, and I think I am stablizing about a lb under last dose weight. This morning's weigh in is 1.4 below last dose weight. I'll take that. Prob some has to do with being more active this time of year. Yesterday I was on the go all day, and didn't have time to post. Guess I need to keep more busy during maintenance. Yesterday went shopping for some new jeans, and was looking at some and the salesperson said those will be way too big on you--they run big and they will not fit you. That was nice to hear. I ended up getting some size 10 jeans, that are slim cut. Have a couple of pairs of soft slacks that are the new bigger leg, but not a huge fan of the big legged jeans, yet. But it was nice to have her say that. 44.8 lbs lost since January. Have to look different now. Funny my husband keeps talking about it in the past month--I think it is the reshaping of P3. The lbs have been gone for over a month, but looking smaller now. Love the Hcg protocol and therapy. Now to maintain for at least another 6 weeks. Have another birthday party to go to tonite. Food and drink, but will up and active till late, think that helps. This sort of an unusual week--usually don't go out 3 nights in the week. I'm more of a homebody. But at least now, not ashamed of having picked up weight! It's all good. Happy Saturday everyone!

Lovely Losers 2021-Just JOVIAL in JUNEl!!

    Happy Saturday!

Rk, so sorry about your hip diagnosis. Sounds genetic, which is no darned fun! At my reunion Iím planning a game called Olson Ailments Bingo. You get points if you take thyroid medicine, have a hiatal hernia, had a hip replacement, etc.

Hope the protein in the a.m. helps. You are right about the fruit. I had a fresh peach mid-morning, w chopped pecans and HWC and was starving by lunch. Seemed like a good idea, but I should have had cheese, a slice of deli turkey, a hard boiled eggó but it was a good peach!

I was up only .2 today, so all good. I even took my nephew to Sonic and I had a foot long chili cheese dog last night! Yow! No bun, but still. Awesome.

After dropping off a big basket of clothes at Goodwill in the back, I went around to the front and bought several new summer weight tops. So much for a cleaned out closet!

Dubs, congrats on making it to P4. You are doing so awesome!

The electric bike is so fun. It has tiny wheels so I look like I escaped a circus, but it is geared so you donít have to pedal like a madman.

Then you add this tiny boost of the battery operated motor and up the hill you go! Its like I have strength snd breath again.

I have been struggling with shortness of breath for over a year, and instead of getting better, Iíve sort of adapted by moving less. That makes me feel like I went from 67 to 80 overnight.

Still peddling, so light exercise instead of feeling like my head is going to explode after five minutes.

I had looked at electric bikes before and they are expensive. $1,500 to. $2,00O! Then I walked into Costco and they had these funny looking ones for $329.

I went back 2 days later and they were sold out. I was so disappointed! Then I went back a couple of weeks later to pick up more meds for Penny, and they were unloading a new display. I got one QUiCK.

Now, If it would just stop raining at 4 oíclock every day.

Both Pearl and Penny are doing so much better. Penny is eating again and both are begging for pork rinds as I write this. Big big improvement!

Kar, good to hear from you!

Karbee and MrsSó woohoo on P2!

Hope all the travelers come back soon and entertain us w their stories!

    Onward!
    P

I LOVE their maple bacon flavor, especially in the fall/winter! I didn't know they had key lime pie flavor. I'll have to check it out. Sounds great for this time of year and it would probably be great with Coco's sugar free whipped topping. Lately I've been drinking a wild huckleberry flavor that I found on amazon.
