    Good Morning Lovelies,

Pearly: This is in response to an older post of yours. I agree that appliances maybe hard to get, but July 4th sales can be pretty good at Home depot and Lowes. IF anything it gives you an idea of prices, and Labor day, thanksgiving sales will be here before you know it. Also, If you are a veteran, or hubby or they give an additional 10% 0ff for veterans. But now is a good time to really daydream about what you want and plan while you wait. As I go what I want always changes as I learn and see things. It also is a good idea to ask everyone you know who is picky who their contractor was and see their work. I have seen people's home remodels who had similar (and different) homes than mine, and discussed what they would do different etc, it really helped. I go on zilllow and look at staged homes for sale similar to mine to see what they did. that also helps to see it completely done. Then I save all of those screen shots in files. I love to go look at new home models and get some clever ideas from that also. I like to take my time and look at the magazines (our library has a free app and I can read them for free on my ipad, take screen shots) and think about what I want to do because it changes. The best is to de-clutter. I even de-cluttered in the yard--not brave enough to face the house giggle. I removed some old hibiscus bushes that were always getting buggy, and planted a hedge. Now we have a private outdoor room. I got some furniture at Costco, covers for it at amazon, bought a fountain at a house sale, and hubby put up lights. It is like we added square footage to the house. Once I got rid of those old ugly huge hibiscus bushes, I could see the space better.... just a thought.

Charlie,(Starbucks) Sorry to hear about Brett losing his dad. Hope you are doing better. That is a great picture of you and your dad.

Dubbles: I am not hitting that P4 hard. I tried almonds (living on the edge ha ha).Glad you are down! That's great! wonderful tohave lost in P3! I am also not sure what to add in P4. Leez suggested looking at the Trim Healthy Mama plan for maintenance. I need to do something, or figure out my calories at this new weight.

Hi Mrs. Strong. How are you doing? I like the intermountain pellets. They keep better than the drops and are easier to transport and take dicreetly when I am out....so when I have leftover pellets they go backin the fridge for the next round. Drops don't seem to work that way in storage. What do you think?

HI JGD. How are you doing?

Hi Leez, Thank you for your input on starches!

AFM: This morning marks my first 24 hour period with no ibuprofen and tylenol. I feel a bit achy but am down a pound and sitting near the top of my range. That sciatica has been with me for 6 weeks. I never had it before, and it was awful. I am still not doing much exercise or walking. I am going to start with some gentle back exercises and a bit more walking today. I have never been this sedentary. I am nervous about gaining weight in P4. But yesterday which was hard as our first Father's Day without Dad we had Chinese food. I had a smallish plate and then stopped and cleaned up for a few minutes. Then I found I was not hungry. So that was a win.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!
    Fondly,
    RK

Very good ideas, RK. I have done the de-clutter part. But other than watch TV shows, I haven't done my research. I need to finish my basement and am looking into giving it an outdoor separate entrance and basically making an apartment. Renting it would give me a retirement income I need. However, for resale value, I want to make sure it could also be a mother-in-law quarters, home business, or teen retreat. Adding 2 bedrooms, a bath, a family room area and small kitchen will take my house from 2 bed 2 bath to 4 bed 3 bath and increase the equity.

I have a limited budget as I don't wan to borrow or run through all of my savings. I also want to update the upstairs, because I can't have the downstairs new and modern and the up still stuck in the 90's. But I have to be smart about it. For example, if I have to paint my cupboards in the kitchen, I will use them downstairs and paint them there, and get newer, taller cupboards for my kitchen. Etc. If I am buying a new fridge, I'm getting the new fridge and the apartment can have the perfectly nice 2 year old fridge the previous owners put in to sell the house.

Ah. Too much info. But yes, I need to do more homework.

Thank you and Dubs for the advice. P

Good morning everyone!! It's been a couple of weeks but you have all been in my thoughts!! My son's wedding was so awesome!! They are now in Hawaii on their honeymoon and I couldn't be happier for them!! And... the dress fit!! Woohoo!! If I took a deep breathe it did get pretty tight and I probably could have hulked out of it if I tried, but everything went so well!! Except...for the lack of sleep and our flight home. We got stuck in the airport all night...had to sleep on the floor, lucky I found a cleaning lady that I got some large trash bags from to lay on and cover up with!! Then, the day we returned, after no sleep, went and picked up our puppy... and have had very interrupted sleep ever since. The good news is that I have somehow managed to maintain my weight, even after eating carbs, and sugars!! Today I am .9#'s above my LDW. I was shocked honestly to see that number on the scale. I have been weighing myself at various times throughout the day just to see how I am doing (Since the minute I get up I have to take the puppy out to go potty and then I get coffee... and well then, it's too late to jump on the scale) but the most I have weighed in was .2#'s over my window and like I said, that was after being up and having coffee....

Well, when I have a chance I will read back through to see how you all are doing!! My puppy this morning has a little blood in her stool so I am waiting for the vet to call me back. Most likely from eating anything and everything she can get her mouth on, I have a feeling a piece of bark or something is working it's way through, ugh... there is a reason God made puppies so cute!! OH..and my older (2 year old) dog is extreamly PO'd that we brought home a new playmate for him!!

I will touch base later when I can and when the puppy is sleeping!!

I am so floored!! The state I live in, California, is no longer allowing the sale of HCG! I already ordered my bac water and steril vial this morning after placing an order with DietDoc. They called me about 15 mins later to give me the news. I have been looking and looking!! I am at a loss of words! I was thinking of having it shipped to my sister n law in Washington and then have her mail it to me but she is pretty nosey and honestly don't want to have to explain and be judged! Ugh!! I am so upset right now!! Anyone else have this happen? What did you do?

Whatttt. I know the FDA was going to stop ultra burn injections. That is so messed up. There might be a diet doctor or naturopath in the area who has it. Crap.

Hi RK! Doing well! Thought about the pellets when ordering by then decided to stick to what I am used to. I typically don't keep the almost empty bottle so I don't know about storage but it may have been better to go with pellets this time of year! Too late now and I'll just make sure I keep them in the cooler in my car. I typically just take two doses anyway, morning and evening.

Good to hear you are feeling a little better. Hope your weigh-in tomorrow is just fine! I found swimming to be very helpful when I had low back issues btw!

Welcome back, Phoebe! So happy you had a good time (except for the airport floor!), and that the dress fit. I bet you looked fabulous! I am sure the dogs will get along just fine soon enough!

The HCG not being allowed in CA is pretty much a disaster! OMG. If it is not illegal to ship it to you, I can do it from OR.

Thanks mrsstrong!! It's good to be back!! Yeah, it's crazy how rude my older dog is being to the new puppy!! Her name is Indy by the way and she is SO CUTE but so crazy and has those super sharp puppy teeth (Ankle biters)!!

I just PM'd you about the whole crazy California "rule" they just decided on last week on being able to have HCG prescribed by a doctor here!! Crazy crazy!!

Lovely Losers 2021-Just JOVIAL in JUNEl!!

Which airport, Phoebe? Iíve slept in quite a few over the years. Not. Fun. Once! You did so awesome, making up your mind about fitting into your dress and going after it, accomplishing it! So glad you had fun at the wedding.

I get hcg direct from India. They ask on a form if you have an Rx, and I did the first time I ordered, but they didnít ask to see anything. So much cheaper, too.

MrsS, sorry, I was thinking you had started P2 already, but not quite yet. Still, glad you are still aboard.

We have drizzled down to a mighty few. Thanks to all who still post. We learn so much from each other.

Another job interview next weekó entry level hourly pay but maybe there will turn out to be more to it. I get notices when my applications get viewed and I was viewed by 4 companies, 3 with director or higher positions. One really snazzy place viewed me 3 times. Of course the only one who called was the Ďassistantí one. Sigh.

Weigh in was happily the exact same today. I kinda miss that 129 number but it meant nothing. Got obsessed a little by it. Not worth it. I was NOT calm about it, and that is not who I want to be.

I also donít want to count calories every day. So Tomorrow is the start of P4W3 and Iím gonna start just tracking only foods I donít regularly have. If I have a gain, I can reconstruct the day before pretty easily.

    I hope!

    Onward!

    P2 Day 9

Oh dang PhoebeS, that sucks Hope you're able to figure out an alternative.

rkthin Ė 6 weeks! So glad you're experiencing some relief.

It's day 9 of P2 for me and I'm down 7.9 pounds overall. I've been feeling a lot more lacking in energy this round compared to last. I start out pretty much as normal (which is slow, I am not a morning person ) but by 5pm I'm really flagging. Wonder if it's because I'm closer to goal?

Hope everyone's week's off to a good start and my fellow PNWers are able to stay cool in this heat!

    Good morning all!!

Pearly ~ it was in the Phoenix airport. Southwest had some sort of a breech in their system. 500 flights were cancelled. The floor was so hard... I think one of these days I am going to go out and buy several foam pool floaties and hand them out to the homeless poeple, it was brutal!!

My daughter in law called last night from Maui to tell me my son was in urgent care with Afib.. he is only 22 years old and has been an athelet his whole life and in really good shape. They suggested he go to ER, which they did where they slowed his heart down and then shocked it to get it to beat normal. I barely slept but am thankful that they went and he was released with no meds or anything. My daughter n law was freaking out and couldn't go in the hospital with him... she was so scared....as was I!! He called me at 2:30 am and I was so happy to hear his voice! Gonna have to get more details when they wake up this morning. Hawaii is 3 hours behind me here in Ca.

Eventually I will have to go back and read how everyone is doing!! Hope you are all maintaining or losing well!!

Today I was at 165.9 .2# above LDW
