Round 2 for me starting next week

I'll be popping in here as I'm starting my second round likely a week from today. So, if all goes according to plan as far as receiving supplies, loading to begin Jan. 11. Looking forward to a long round and an extended P3 for stabilization. I had really wonderful results with my first round that began last September and have more or less stabilized and maintained the loss since then. It's all learning, and I know there are more riches in this journey for me. Looking forward to sharing our experiences together!

I'll be starting round one very soon. I read that you should start after your cycle, which would be Jan 15th for me, I think. Or is it ok to start during your cycle? My birthday is tomorrow and I figured I'd finish out this week, then start HCG, but then I noticed my app on my phone telling me "Aunt Flo" was visiting soon, hence my questions about when is best. I appreciate any guidance!

You can start anytime you like. The reason its recommended to start right after your cycle is so that you don't have go through that twice during your round. Just be aware that hormonal water retention will show up on your P2 scale as less weight loss or even a temporary gain.

Lovely losers 2021 - jumping for joy in january!!!

Good morning, Lovelies! Long-time HCG user hereóhovering around the edges of the thread, hopefully getting ready to come back. I think.

Ive been off the thread since last March. Not Covid related, but a prolonged bout of walking pneumonia set me back on my heels for most of March, April, May and into June.

With Hcg, Iíve stayed around 130, and sometimes 125, since 2013, with a few 10-12 pound gains that required ďmaintenanceĒ rounds, but this time I lost all semblance of healthy eating and Iím up 25 pounds. Ive only come close to this weight one other time, in 2015 after a bad round of bronchitis. When Iím sick, I donít care!

Shout out to Coco and Leez who will remember me and Hi there to those who are new since I left.

I meant to mix Sunday, but itís Tuesday and still looking at it. Lol. Maybe tonight.

    Sigh.

    Onward!

Hey PearlyMae, it will be great to have your thoughtful comments active on the forum again. 2020 threw a monkey wrench into a lot of lives, and hopefully we can all find our ways back to some kind of normal this year.

Good luck with your round and the decision to get it going. Its always a struggle for me to get over that reluctance to start and "just do it", so I get it.

    Pearly... i get you....
I PLAN my rounds carefully to avoid interruptions...like I did yesterday for a friend... factoring in TOM and skip days etc... my OCD !!.... but this last round was a case of OMG ! ... i got on the scale and gained 25 lbs in lockdown!!.... i did not think ... just jumped into HCG mode and within 3 days I got loading!! I was supposed to start now but have to hold back pending surgery.... so I will be hanging around doing the cheerleading!!

Good luck with the round... shen you get started!

    Hi Lovelies,

I have not been on here for some time as I took a break from HCG. I was a bit of cheating queen always trying to see what I could get away with. We all know that doesnít work. Probably why I had to keep doing more rounds as I never did one quite properly during that time and get to my goal weight.

Lately, I have been doing some Intermittent fasting which works extremely well if I work it. However, this year I just couldnít stick to IF. So, I am back. I loaded up over New Years. I am doing OP but mixing veggies slightly and adding in a few that are not on the approved list. I am in full on menopause and I think this is a good time for me.

I am not sure how long I will do this round. I will stay on it as long as I can and likely have to do a round 2 to get to goal.

So far this has been an easy round. I think fasting has really helped me with my mind set as now I can eat! Lol!

I weighed myself on P2 - D1 at home at a whopping 167 (includes loading). We went to our other house in Golden, BC and this scale likely needs new batteries as it gives me different readings. I think this scale also weighs in 1 lb heavier, not that it matters. I think after one week I am down 7, which is normal for me. I donít really care what the scale is per se, I need to be healthier and this spare tire around my waist has to go!!!! Like today it said 160, then 163 and yesterday I was 162.4. Lovely losers 2021 - jumping for joy in january!!!Lovely losers 2021 - jumping for joy in january!!!

I am very motivated and I think taking a break helped. I am determined not to cheat, no wine instead of a fruit. I need to focus and get-er-done!

Red face Menopausal Weigh Gain 50+ HOPEFUL!!

Hi Lovelies, Rosie here. 57 years young, post menopausal and 35-40 pounds to lose. First time First Round on hcg and am kicking myself as to why I waited so long. I'm one of the many that have tried everything under the sun to lose weight. Lose it then it all comes back eventually. Not this time, I'm too old to continue the roller coaster ride with my health. Thankfully I have no health issues.

My challenge was the menopause weight gain, I would just look at food and I would gain. I even started getting that abdominal bulge that looked like I drank a 12 pack of beer a day. LOL

I've lost 10 pounds in 8 days, inflammation is gone and I'm starting to see my toes over my belly!!

Because of these results, I am wondering if I should extend to 40 days. Any thoughts or advice on this?

I am a firm believer that hcg would benefit 50+ women who have gained the "hormonal" weight due to the fact that it is a medical weight loss hormone diet. The results thus far are amazing.
Because its my first time, I am sticking the to the original protocol, but I am curious to hear if anyone has changed it up, without experiencing gains. Again, this is my first round.

I wanted to ask about Albacore Tuna in Water? Any advice? And if and how do I extend to 40 days. Do I just purchase more hcg from the clinic?
Thanks lovelies.... this support group is a breath of fresh air. Especially because I've decided to keep this journey to myself, for myself!!
    Happy New Year!
