AFM: I said I was going to do a high protein day yesterday. Started the day exactly 1 lb over Last Dose Weight. So, trying to delay any further creep up, I decided to do high proteing day as preventative measure.
Leez said Linda Prinkster in her book, noted that some will do high protein for that reason, to lessen need for Correction Day. So.........
Yesterday I started out with my 3 sausage patties with coffee (I wish I liked eggs more, can eat, but don't love them). Then was out at lunchtime and stopped at Chick Filet-A and ordered a 12 piece grilled chicken box. Nothing else. In afternoon I was feeling a little hungry, had a protein shake with 6 strawberries, about 2 T of added cream. And for dinner I had DH grill me a large Sirloin Steak , spices and a little butter on top. It was 16 oz. I shared some with my dogs, but I ate most of it. I really wanted to not keep calories down, but make it largely protein/fats day. Wanted to test that out. I figured it up in evening, and I believe it was approx. 1700-1800 calories. Fingers crossed it didn't make me go over my last dose weight.
This morning, weighed and was down exactly 1 lb. So I am exactly at last dose weight. Exactly. So seems to me the high protein day worked perfectly. If someone did the true steak day for correction, I believe I might have gone down another lb. But this was not difficult at all. I don't know why, but when I think I am not to eat until evening, I am hungry and crave food all day. This was completely painfree. So, I'm happy.
