Question, Leez, I know 40 days is longest someone should be on HCG INJECTIONS. I am going to do another round, wondering if a 30 day round is considered to be a "full round" ? I know the 21 days, 23 days are not , they are considered short rounds, but is it 30 doses or 35 to be considered a full round? I will need another round but hoping I could do a round of only 30 days and still be able to stabilize. Thanks.

Yes, a 30 day round is a good choice. You will stabilize just as well with a 30 or more day round as with a 40 day one.

Thanks Leez! Good to know, will be close to summer before a new round and don’t want it to be any longer than I have to be.

    Morning all...

LinderLou, looks like you, me and Miss M are at about the same point in starting P3, a few days apart, always nice to share with someone

Tracy, I am so with you on the chicken thighs.. I really do not like chicken breasts!! I get through P2 with my local butchers amazing Chicken mince and chicken sausages (no additives or fillers!)

MissM,...I am looking forward to bacon and egg on toast!! now now don't look so horrified.... it is my banting bread with zero carbs, so on day one I basically add seeds to my menu... definitely not making the mistake i made last round on day 1 of P3, where I felt sick for days after... been there , done that! But one thing I am craving is Camembert Cheese... in ANY shape size of form!! thinking of making a baked Camembert very early on in P3

Dubbles, Seems like you are back on the bus and going strong, seems the PI was worth it, in fact I was thinking of you when I decided to move my move my next round out, so I will do my 4 weeks of P3 and then add 2 weeks of P4 and then cycle back, this way I can make my weekend away my Load days. Clever to stretch your HCG by adding extra skip days,... good luck!

Betterdays, I so agree!! ALWAYS start loading on a weekend, VLCD on a Monday, and by hook or by crook my LIW is always on a wednesday and first day of P3 on a Saturday, it works for me and it fits into my lifestyle... My neighbour on the other hand has kids at home, so she will do her LIW on a Sunday so she can do her 72 hrs without cravings with kids under foot, so this way the kids are at school during her 72 hours (well mostly)

    Take care all
    ~AKA Yvonne SA~
    Greetings from Sunny South Africa!

Hi, I am planning to do yet another round! So I am not happy I've gained 29 lbs during Covid. My thyroid was wonky all last year, it's been adjusted. I tried to workout and eat low carb, eat clean etc. and I lost 1 lb in 6 weeks, I eat pretty good/lowish carb (yes I eat veggies/fruit), and ugh, all I can think of is I have a bummer metabolism!

Anyway, I called my Natuopath Doctor to get my HCG injections, they do not do it anymore, and said no one does HCG anymore. OMG I need my HCG! lol I have to do like 2 rounds to get to my normal skinny weight before it gets out of hand! I'm ashamed, but at the same time, I feel like my body has its own mind, it's not like
I'm eating cake. Anyway, is it just me or is HCG getting really difficult to find now days?

I guess my decision is to buy from the one, only place I know of online for unmixed injections for what 300$ or try the homeopathic route. I'm planning an upcoming
hysterectomy (keeping ovaries) and really freaked to gain more after (although I hear of weightloss or good stories of female problems getting fixed), and
was hoping to drop 15 to 20 before I schedule that kind of surgery (sigh). I don't want to have to schedule it for summer and ruin my summer off recovering!
I do have an option of trying an ablation as well, So many choices, so many hormones and I need to start my diet!

Any suggestions? What is everyone else doing?
    Started JULY 2015

    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

Cupcakes, I would just go with the homeopathic drops. This is what Leez has recommended for me to do, starting in May on my next round. I am now in P3 and maintaining. I used the prescription injections when I was in P2 and developed a slight immunity issue, so she recommended homeopathic drops on my next round. Apparently, immunity doesn’t happen as quick, while on homeopathic drops.
My medications that I am taking for hypothyroidism is Cytomel.

Yvonne, so glad you are doing well my friend! What is a baked Camembert? Is it possibly a baked cheesecake? If it is please send me the recipe ❤️

I am glad to know this, because I can’t stand going the 40 days, 30 days is more like it!!!

I am maintaining smoothly between 189-190lbs. I can’t wait until May to start my next round.

    Good morning, lovelies.

Looks like we'll have quite a few P3-ers here soon!

All while Pearly appears to still be hiding from starting P2. Pearly... are you still out there?

I'm on P3D12 and this morning landed 0.2 under steak day range. I believe the culprit is inflammation related to the onset of a sinus infection. I've been trying to kill off unilateral sinus pain for a few days. Since I can't have honey, knocking it out naturally is not working so far. Other than advil, echinacea tea, vitamin c, bromelain, and turmeric supplements throughout the day, I'm planning to just have a plain burger + apple for dinner and see what happens.

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Hi everyone!

DEANNA: I'll probably be back for another round, 30 days next time-about the same time as you. We have very similar schedules of rounds/Wts, but I'm really looking forward more getting back to P3, than another round of P2, HA. Guess cause I'm finishing out this round currently.

YVONNE/FLO: Banting Bread? Is that difficult to make? I'm not much of abaker, but if it is a legit bread replacement during P3,, I might try? Would you share receipe? If it isn't too lengthy? Or too complicated? If it is, I doubt I would go there. I agree with you, Wednesdays seem to be great LIW days. Oh, and I'm also curious about Baked Camembert cheese. You and Miss M always have food ideas that sound "Divine"! Enjoy P3!

TRACY: I agree, chicken breasts are more dry--at least to me. During this round I've been purchasing the chicken tenders. Easy to portion out and take no time to prepare on GF. I really like them, not nearly as dry as the chicken breasts. Will probably continue to fix them in P3 and use as snacks. In P3 I like to make a dipping sauce with Dukes Mayo/mustard, with a little stevia added. Really good, sorta like a honey mustard sauce.

CUPCAKE: Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I think Covoid shutdowns did a number on most of us. Any real questions re dosing, or health issues, I leave to people who are much more knowledgeable than myself. That being said, in 2010/2011 I did use homeopathic hcg several times and found not much difference success wise. I think the main appeal of injections, for me anyway--is the convenience, one a day and done with it. Just noticed, you lost 80 lbs in 2016 with HCG ? WOW--you are a Rock Star!

FLO: Yes, it's nice to have buddies during the phases. I don't tend to check in as much during P3/P4, but I do read new posts almost every day. Staying active here certainly helps keep me accountable too.

Today is P3D10 and as of this morning 1.1 lbs over LDW. I'm beginning to get back in the groove of P3 eating and have worked my way up to a bit more stomach capacity. That said, I'm VERY focused on my feelings of fullness and not eating one.more.bite when I hit that point.

DUBBLES: I bought Chicken Tenderloins (boneless, skinless) quite by accident a few months ago and REALLY enjoyed them! I had no idea they were P2 compliant and had been saving them for P3. Now that I know I can eat them instead of chicken breast during P2, I will switch to those instead... YUM! And, that said, the jury is still out about doing another round in the future. I'm leaning towards maybe in late Fall/early Winter and allow myself to really stabilize for the next 8/10 months.

Happy Humpday everyone! Wishing you all a great rest of your week and much success with whatever phase you are in, losing or maintaining!

Dubbles, I haven't tried Yvonne's banting bread because I'm afraid it will be a food without brakes for me, but she turned me on to Keto Rusks, which is an adaptation of a South African kind of biscotti and they are THE BEES KNEES. I made many variations throughout the holidays and they helped me avoid Christmas cookies. I'm just confirming that she knows what she's talking about when it comes to food!

ps--my latest find for P2 chicken is air fried chicken breast that's been marinated in (sugar-free) pickle juice overnight. In P3 they could be coated in crushed pork rinds or spiced almond meal, but they're quite good without coating besides whatever seasoning you like.
