Thread: Lovely Losers 2021- SENSATIONAL in September!!

Karen, a steak remains the traditional way of adjusting huge gains for unknown reasons, yes. I say unknown reasons because for me, certain foods will do this, and I know to give it time for it to come down on its own. As you know, many of us don't use steak days but use an alternate form when needed, like high protein, chicken, etc.

Almost done with P4 week one. Weight is OK but more like 151 than the 150 that it was. Frustrating but sheesh, a pound. As long as it stays there I am happy because I am enjoying what I am eating. Love having some plantain chips and some crispbread with butter and sugar-free jam!

P2d15 - I think I'm in a stall, will know when I weigh in tomorrow. I did have to tighten my bra strap again, and my above-the-waist bulge seems smaller; so that's some progress. If it looks like "all" I'll get this round is re-shaping, I'm going to get some HWC and enjoy my coffee again! ARRRRRGH!

Thanks, PearlyMae, I remember it well . . . I'm just frustrated because my losses are always so small and the fear of the dreaded mid-round stall just tipped me over!

Will have some bacon for breakfast in about an hour. Not hungry yet, but want to have calories. I have stablized well after each round this year and have made it a point to eat as Leez has recommended. So hope to do the same this P3. No sugars or starches during P3. I know there will be a time or two where I'll break that, say when traveling, but I know the deal, know the 2 lb window, and think I know what to do. Fingers crossed for stablizing.

This morning, weighed in at 151.4, not the 150 that was my goal, but very happy. My last dose weight was 153.2--so have 1.8 of wiggle room and that sound huge to me! Yesterday's drop was 1.2 by itself-woot woot! Since 1st week of January, have lost 55.6 lbs, now that is a lot of extra weight to carry around. Am very proud to have done this. It wasn't really quick when you think about it. We act like hcg diet is fast weight loss, but it's not really--it is a process, with the different phases of quick loss, maintenance, and further maintenance, but that is good--phase 2, phase 3, phase 4, then repeat again and again, until goals reached. This last round was short, and not a lot of lbs gone, but I think significant inches, as I'm now purchasing 8's and maybe some larger 6's in slacks. I'm a little concerned about the winter months, seems I usually pick up some extra weight in winter, sorta like bear, hibernate and have a little extra fat, plus all the holiday fun, I really want to keep things under control. But will probably need to do a clean up round in January, we'll see. One good thing, as it gets cooler, definitely will walk outside more, my dogs need it, and wouldn't hurt me either! Btw, I had told my husband I would be going to P3 where I could eat more, so he stopped at store on way home from work, brings in a tray of pastries (?*!?*?!) and I said what are you doing? He said I thought you said you could eat now? That is just the kind of thinking we can't go back to, that we can eat the way we used to, snacking on high calorie, empty sugar/starchy snacks foods. He doesn't mean to make it more difficult, and it's not his responsiblity, it's mine to make the correct choices. At some point, if I could have a pastry, or half a pastry and be happy, then ok, but I can't now, and who knows if I could ever have much self control to have a little and stop. With carbs and sugar and me, the struggle is real. Happy Friday everyone. Bring it on P3. Not very hungry yet, though about 10 p.m. last night I did have some hunger pangs.
Congratulations Dubbles! Iím so impressed you were able to stay within 2 of LDW!

Dubbs, so proud of you!! And my husband sounds like he can be your husbands twin. I finally told him that now that I lost the weight, if I go back to eating that crap, I'll be right back where I was and have to start the dieting all over again!! Must be nice to be able to eat whatever you want and not gain an ounce!! Best of luck to you and I too, love the holidays!! We have a cookie exchange party every year that I help host and I make fudge every year to hand out to friends, customers and co-workers. I really need to watch it! I will be probably having to do another round in Jan as well, but hopefully not.

Do we do steak days in P4? I know I have asked that question before but I don't recall getting the answer and for some reason, I am pretty technically challanged when it comes to looking things up on this site. Just curious if it is used in P4 as well as P3?

2many ~ congrats on the the weight loss!! I am still in that place also where I bought a pair of jeans online and they are a little big for me (Size 7), so I just bought a size down (5 - juniors!!), we shall see if they fit! I think every brands sizing is a bit different and these jeans are super stretchy, which is why I think I can go to a lot lower size. (I like that stretch because it holds my tummy in). But congrats on your round!! Doing great!!

LBB - We all have those moments! Just get right back to it and you will be fine! How long of a round are you doing? Keep your eye on the prize.

Well, as for me, not a lot has changed weight wise, Wed. I was up .5, yesterday down .8 and today up .1. Today is P4D2 for me and I really haven't changed much of anything in my diet. I have to admit though... my husband eats this trail mix from Costco and has been taking all of the m&m's out and puts them in a little bowl and everytime I pass that bowl, I take one or two m&m's. This has actually been going on my entire P3. Yesterday, I finally told him to please just leave them in the bag if you don't want to eat them... there were about 5 left in the bowl and I ate all of them!! Oh, well.... this is my life and it is what it is. I usually have pretty good self control, but obviously... not when it comes to m&m's! They are now off my counter!

    152.9 today, (LIW) 152.4

    Happy Friday!
Thank you Phoebe! I am doing 45 days. I have so much to lose. The good news is that my leggings finally feel comfortable but I have so much more to go if I want to button my pants.

    Hi !
Try Julians Bakery online, Iíve purchased bread from there itís pretty good. Coconut, Almond flour bread and they have a seeded bread thatís great . Love my bread but too much I gain also.
Sometimes I have a ( must have it moment ) so I always keep some kind of loaf in the freezer.
All the Ezekiel breads are great and love them toasted or making a grilled cheese . Enjoy

Lovelies, how many steps do you take during P2? I wore my Apple Watch and despite racing from event to event for my children I think Iím averaging too low. 10,000 seems too high for P2 right?
