P2d4. Had 499 cals yesterday, no hunger. I won't weigh again until the weekend. I left water running in a sink in my bathroom yesterday, frantically grabbed towels to soak it up. Kinda ruined my enjoyment of my dinner. Got the towels washed and dried and put away, though, before bed. Now I'm cleaning the cabinet, drying stuff that was in it. ARRRRGH!
gz, whoops, sounds like something I would do, hope it wasn't too much damage. Wish I had your self discipline! I can't wait to weigh each morning, even when I know it won't be good and tell myself not to weigh, I do it anyway. Good luck with your weigh in!

LBB, welcome to this group!! It is an amazing outlet and it is what kept me accountable and motivated during my rounds. I too have a daughter (though she is an adult) and husband I cook for and my husband is a snacker and has a sweet tooth so temptation is always around me. I will never forget when I did this diet 10 years ago when my kids were much younger and I was making their school lunches and I licked the Peanut butter & Jelly knife after I made their sandwiches... YIKES!! It's hard to break those habits when in P2 but that is exactly what P2 is for me in a way... just to break the bad eating habits and of course, to lose weight! Best of luck to you!! I hope you all don't get covid. My family and I all had it in January. Stay well!!

GZ, yum... I may just have to try that ice cream!! Sounds delish!! Looks like you are plugging away in P2.

Dubbs... you have a great attidude!! You always have! I only read back a page and haven't read the other posts in the other group yet but I hope you are doing good and are at peace with your decision this week! With my crazy round, I am actaully pretty amazed that I have stabilized as well as I have so far!! Good luck.

JGD, my go to meals for the beginning of P3 are always greek yogurt w/fruit or bacon and eggs for breakfast, or sausage and eggs. Other then breakfast, I really don't have a very set meal plan.. I probably should, but I really don't. I do try to have salad with dinner and eat an apple a day, or two. Also bought a couple of grapefruit. I read in P & I about eating grapefruit and apples in P3... or at least I think it was for P3. I read it a while ago.

I had a lot of mixed nuts yesterday, also had cheese, had 2 vodka cocktails in the afternnon with a friend but had them early enough to be able to drink plenty of water afterwards. I made a chicken enchilada casserole last night for dinner...was very bloated after eating it so pretty worried to weigh in this am. I am still suffering from these darn mesquito bites.. I found 2 more on me. My husband.... has...ZERO!! My dog was up 2 times throwing up last night, gotta keep an eye on him today. He was able to eat yogurt this morning. Hopefully he is ok. Hope all of your furry friends are doing ok!!

I was down .7#'s this am. Really surprised I didn't have a gain. That puts me at .6#'s above my LDW. I have a BBQ to attend this afternoon where I know there will be lots of food and adult beverages. I am going to try my best to stay P3.

    Happy Labor Day everyone.

Hi Phoebe/Karen, I just can't eat nuts at all. That's awesome that you can and no gain, but down. Wonderful. Cheese, and vodka cocktails too! Good for you! Sounds like you are doing great in P3. Keep it up!

Doing ok have now lost 12.3 on day 17 so have 14 days to lose 7 pounds. Hope I get close!

I have been eating one fruit this time and mostly fish for dinner and beef for lunch. I hear ya on the having to prepare dinner for fam while on the diet. Years ago when my kids were home I don't know how I did this diet. I guess if there's a will there's a way. I usually cook hubby a big batch of something so he can eat as he wants but he's very supportive and living in the country there are not many restaurants close by where we are so that helps big time!
Well busy at work so have a great day!

Jeanette, I don't think I've been eating enough fish this round. And I've been complaining my husband has n0t been has supportive this round, and he hasn't been! Glad yours has been! So you live in country, do you have to go far to go to work? Don't mean to be nosey, just curious. Back to hubby--last night he texted and said he was in mood for Penn Station did I want something, I said no I can't now, well he bought me a sandwich and fries anyway, can you believe that? I didn't get mad, just didn't eat. But, REALLY? Anyway, , I'm not far behind you on vlc day and have lost 11.0 (if you count load weight), and opnly 9.2 if you count from last dose weight from last round weight. So not all that much. I don't think I have 5 days of hcg left in my vial of hcg. I get the 28 day vial, but I guess I take a bigger dose some people ? Maybe why I never have hunger issues? I was dropping better when I went to pool everyday, think it acted like a sauna and was sweating water weight, but had uptick and in a stall now. Oh well, it is what it is. Don't think I'll get to 150on this round, and that's ok. Have a great day!

LBB, it's easier with no kids - I live alone so I control what's in the pantry. Plus, with T2d hanging over my head, I have gotten used to the selective diet. It was tough at first, giving up high carb foods, but staying in control is a good reward.

    P2d5 - 452 cals yesterday, no hunger

Yes I have a 50 min drive to work & it sucks! I bet hubby got that sandwich for himself for later - thats what I'd tell myself anyway! Well we are so close so not too much longer. Never had any hunger issues either with the patches, used to do the pellets and drops but with all the talking I do at work its not for me. I had a 3 day stall last Thurs thru Sun but have been chipping away since then so it'll break.

Dubbs- are you doing skip days? If not, you should then your hcg would last longer

Hi Dubbs, well throw that comment right out the window because it all caught up with me today! Went up 1.1#'s overnight so am now .8#'s over my LIW. I actually thought I did pretty well food wise yesterday, the only thing I can think of is I ate leftover green chili enchilada casserole last night that hit my stomache like a brick, but it is keto, so maybe the cheese... or cream in it did me in. Or all of the stuff I ate over the weekend and labor day just caught up with me... either way, I am attempting a steak day today but already blew it with 2 cups of coffee with HWC. (I thought that was ok on a steak day). Oh well, I am just going to try the best I can and see if I can at least drop a little when I weigh in tomorrow.

I can completely relate to your comment about your husband, mine does the same all the time when I am on P2!! Drives me crazy! And I remember you telling me that nobody will notice if I don't reach that 150 goal of mine, just me...so.... I am going to give you the same advice!! If your hcg runs out and you didn't hit your goal, you will most likely be the only one that will ever know that!! I know that you know that and I am glad that you are ok with it!! Every little bit of weight we lose makes a difference in our health and we should all be so proud of that!

I dont mind the injections but my husband wants to do a couple of rounds again but is insisting on pellets, wont consider any other option. Can anyone point me in the right direction to purchase pellets for him? I will start participating once I get my injections hopefully by Tuesday.
Hi Leasa, I use Intermountain pellets and they've been great for me, after I figured out the right dosage.

Dubbles, I don't remember you talking about your husband's, can I say sabotage, before. Wondering if he's feeling insecure because you must be looking amazing after your rounds? I'm sure he's a great guy and may not even consciously know he's doing it.

Anyway, I had to laugh when I read you were going into another P2. I need plenty of time to forget the pain before I start another round :-)

AFM, I'm holding at 157.6, .2 lbs below LDW. And yes, I'm counting tenths of a pound! Will do a hopefully final round in a month or so to get the last 10 off.

Hello lovelies and much thanks to all who provided input on P3 menus. Anyone else who’d like to share what they typically eat first few days of P3, I’m interested in hearing from you. I’m starting to plan out my P3 menus as I find structure in P3 to be very helpful, and love to get new ideas for meals. I finally had a drop (1.8) so I may have done my last injection today. Depending on what scale says in the morning, If I’m still losing, I may hold out and make Friday last injection day.

I got back home from my grandmothers last night. My visit was really good although she is not doing well at all and in fact, my mom already called today saying she’s worse today so I’m really worried. Continued prayers for her please. We had the Memorial for my uncle and it was sad but very nice. He is finally free from his addiction.

Lovely Losers 2021- SENSATIONAL in September!!

JGD- A lifesaver for me in the beginning P3, not the first few days but in the first week or so, is avocados. Or maybe are avocados.

They are very filling and go with a lot of things. I need to get my calories up and they really helped.

My go to breakfast is two semi-fried semi-poached eggs, I put in an egg ring one on top of the other and start frying in a pan and then add water and put a lid on so that it stays moist. Makes an over easy egg without turning it over. I serve those to myself on a nice big slice of tomato. When you eat an egg right off the plate if It is an over easy egg most of it gets lost on the plate and you canít get it up unless you maybe,I donít know, lick the plate? So putting it on a slice of tomato gives you something to catch the good stuff on and tomatoes and eggs are good together. Now that Iím in P4, I sometimes use a slice of cheese under the egg or stack both. Then add half an avocado, a piece of bacon or sausage patty and you have a big breakfast but very very few carbs.

    Onward!
