November ah the holidays always a challenge.
Hi everyone! I have been absent but still read the boards. So busy at work but this week got a surprise week off so have some time.
So sorry about the struggles but we have all been there. For me anyway, thats why I wait so long before doing a round. If I get into it when my heads not right, it tends to go sideways. But I have gotten my order of patches and will go for the last ten pounds in January. Trying not to throw caution to the wind because I want to actually learn how to keep it together. Have settled within 2-3 pounds above last day weight so I'm ok with that & thats pretty typical for me. When I go overboard, i just don't eat breakfast and stick with clean eating for a day of two and I'm golden. Hope everyone continues to hang in there and keep up all the good work! It is all about mindfulness in P3/4 just gotta think about benfit vs. risk.

Hi Jeanette, mind my asking where you order your patches from? I think I used them once years ago, and I didn't mind them at all. I really think after the first of the year I wouldn't mind doing a round of the hhcg and not the injections. I'm curious to see if the weight is lost from different areas from homeopathic than from rx hcg. Do you think the patches work as well with cravings as anything else? I agree with you, if you keep your weight within the 2 lb window as Dr Simeons suggest, or at least approx. within that window, then if you gain a little extra, after a few days of clean eating, you're usually "golden" again, as you say. I did so good night of Halloween, but yesterday, I got into the leftover Tootsie Rolls, I love them, they are my favorites. But they are gone now, thank goodnews. So this morning I was up 1 lb. Naughty me. But it was so good! Seriously am interested in the patches? Thanks.

I adore the patches never got hungry or thought about food but your mileage could vary,
I get them from insideoutwellness.com, I get the hcg & the curb cravings patches so I wear two at a time. For me I won’t do anything but these again cause the pellets & drops
Just don’t work the same & I’m too busy at work!

Thanks Jeanette, I will order some of these patches. I am sure I used patches at some point and liked them, it's been years tho. I have rx, pellets and I have drops--personally, they all work, but I hate the inconvenience of the drops and pellets, too. I've been curious to try the hhcg again for a round, to see how the weight comes off and from where with the homeopathic vs rx. I know I've complained ad nauseum about loss in face, but I feel like on rx my face got thinner and I'd like to see if I could lose a couple of lbs and not see so much from my face. So after first of the year, I'd like to try the patches. Thanks, and I don't remember using 2 patches, so will try that as well. Thanks for the tip. After Halloween one day ate a lot of Tootsie Rolls (a lot) went over LDW a bit, but like you said--did a couple days of clean eating so have dropped again to 151.8, 1.8 below LDW now--the plan works when we work it. Hey everybody, this November thread is really quiet!

So, OK! I’ll go.

Well, you know that job and I think I’ve complained about it a little bit, but I didn’t say a lot about it because of course I figured it was me. But it wasn’t . Bottom line was it was a hornet’s nest. Drama. Drama queens. Stress. Disorganization. No communication. Chaos. People getting fired people getting hired for one job and then being asked to do another, while they look for somebody else. The so-called chief of operations used to be a realtor and he had never had a staff. And he had no idea how to handle 15 women. And he had no idea how to set business strategy marketing strategy etc. so he sort of just hid out in his office with his 19-year-old assistant giggling through the door.

The owner was gone 6 1/2 weeks out of the first two months I was there. When she got home she was sick, then she traveled again, then she had family emergencies, And then she was sick again.

I was reading a book called Should I quit? on Wednesday when the owner walked in and very gently told me she was laying me off. She told me I was not doing anything wrong, my work was great, but the COO Overextended the company to the point where they had no more money. I liked her from what I have seen of her which was approximately 30 minutes a week. So she could’ve been telling the truth. She said she was firing the COO. I talked to his cousin who used to work there and was fired earlier and she said her cousin said he was laid off and I got fired. Who knows. But I get severance and unemployment, and she is keeping me on the payroll with some unpaid days until I get some loose ends tied up financially. She may even become a freelance client of mine. So I’m thinking when it’s she said he said, I’m right. Unless the owner told us each something different, which I think she’s more straight than that but not positive.

Boy, am I relieved. The work was easy except I could never find a decision-maker. There’s no one to ask questions of and if I did ask a question I got treated like I was stupid. Ridiculous. Stress is exhausting.

One thing I am actually proud of. I’m still 2 pounds below my LIW. I could very easily have used this as an excuse to start eating potato chips. Etc. etc. etc.

So don’t cry for me, Argentina! I am thrilled to be out of there. I am not looking for another job. I just want to do some work, freelance, whatever, and never walk into a snake pit again!

What are the "curb cravings" patches? Did you use them during VLCD? I was never hungry in P2, and not far not in P3/P4.

What are tablets? Sounds interesting. I should rephrase what I said about drops/pellets. I adore them, I started with them way back when and they worked, but I did have some breakthrough hunger at times & as you know you simply can’t do this if you’re hungry. I use both patches as a preventative measure & it works for me. But as with anything, its a personal choice.

Dang Pearly that experience sounds like a stress sandwich. I think structure is a good thing as I like rules but not to the point of being micromanaged. Freelancing or consulting sounds like freedom I could totally get into. Bet in the long run you’ll feel like they did you a favor. How’s your puppy?
