Ok, I know what this is. I'm constantly hungry, I'm sad, I feel fat and I'm bloated.
Hope TOM gets here soon. jeeeez I'm sorry.
more food I can't have...
- mct oil (I'm seriously stocked on probably hundreds of dollars of food that I'm now allergic to. great. good thing I have all that p2 chicken left it's the only thing i can eat.)
-protein shakes, plain isopure whey, too risky with dairy allergy
- jay robb egg white shake - only have chocolate and the ingredient list frightens me

TOM is a challenge. Messes with everything.
Those 3 pounds will probably drop when TOM passes.
Have some vegetables!

You just may have a "nightshade" allergy if all of these vegetables give you issues. I found out I have it along with the coconut allergy. Also after one round, I couldn't handle dairy butter, cream, cheese, milk without gain, but had no issues with Almond Milk. Then after the next round the dairy allergy magically went away and never came back, which I was truly happy about.

Hey Sam,
In P3, NOT eating can mess you up. Enjoy the veggies you used on P2 with some oil, but have MORE. Up the ounces of chicken cooked the way you like it. Did you eat berries or apples in P2? Then use those for dessert.
I am sensitive to coconut but have no problem with other nuts, so i wouldn’t be scared of them. There is a new ReddyWhip made from Almond milk. That could add some fun!
Yes, don’t try all nuts the same day, but P3 is about clearing things so you know what works well for you. If it doesn’t work, you may see a gain on the scale, but You know it is inflammation and water, not FAT! A day or two back on cleared foods will make it drop back down. And most have a temp gain with “Flo.”
You know that your body locks down your weight and wont let you lose if you starve yourself. On P3 you need to have a reasonable number of calories. I also weigh 129 pounds, tho I am 3 inches shorter than you. I need 1500-1800 a day. The right calories, that is.
If I get busy and eat less, I start creeping up. If I really don’t eat enough- like 800 calories - I not only will have hypoglycemic episodes, Ill pop up on the scale the next day.
As they say, your milage may vary!
Im just saying— what Leez said!Eat some veggies! Lol
Food is not scary. It’s life-giving. Your job is to find what foods work well for you and enjoy them!
Onward!

Ok all, meltdown has passed. Thank you and sorry...it's not a complete visit from TOM until I've had at least one public tantrum, oof.
I am back on vegetables, and felt completely satisfied with 2 eggs, fresh salsa and a baby avocado for breakfast.
I didn't want to weigh this morning because I woke up a few times and needed water, also judging from my mood yesterday I think it's best to wait for Flo to get here. I'll just stick to safe foods until that happens.
Thanks again, have an amazing week everyone.
Sigh...I made a mistake.
I woke up this morning, p3d10, frustrated to still be 3 lbs over liw.
So I did the (second) worst possible thing I could imagine, I took another injection. I did a 42 day round with a ten day planned interruption, so I don't really have the wiggle room for this error.
I'm hoping the leftover hcg has lost potency since I mixed it 25 days ago, and I noticed a huge drop in potency after day 15 when I mixed the 2000 iu vials during the actual protocol.
I guess I'm just going to eat p2 today, if I have a gain tomorrow, GOOD, I will know it's no longer effective.
If I see a loss tomorrow, I don't know if I should continue for 3 more days of injections, then 3 days vlc w/ no shots? I guess I'll just treat this as I would a pi. What was I thinking?! I know any loss would just be water weight anyway. Again, sigh...I should stop making major decisions before coffee.
edit to add - Also wondering if I have an option #3 - eat p2 today, no more injections, continue p2 for 72h and jump back into p3.
Proceed as if you did not take the shot. HCG isn't effective until the 3rd day. Thats why you can load for 2 days. Continue to eat P3 and don't weigh again until after you feel the bloat from TOM subside.
Do not return to P2 eating. That is a very bad idea and actually can mess up your P3, where as your shot will likely have no effect.
Consider discarding the remainder of your opened HCG so you won't be tempted to try this again. Once you've reached the maximum dose for a round, you are flirting with long-term immunity.

Oh this is exactly what I wanted to hear.
Thank you!
One more question -
I'm avoiding coconut until I get my inflammation under control and stabilize a bit. I just got my 2nd bottle of digestive enzymes (I stopped taking the first bottle because it listed rice bran in ingredients). However, when I ordered the replacement I was ok with seeing mct oil in the ingredient list. By the time I received it, I had cut all coconut.
Is this enough to cause a reaction? I'd love some digestive support, but I would rather not have to buy yet another brand. I'm hoping that the amount would be negligible, but I'm done taking risks for the time being![]()
Well, I have gone over my LIW for the first time since the end of my round last spring. I know I have been very lazy with cooking lately, andSnacking puts me into some questionable foods.
I know the cassava flour chips I’ve been eating are not really on protocol, but I’ve had many days eating them with no gain in the next day or a loss. My fluctuations were staying around .2 up, .2 down.
Then I really started just not cooking. I do Well for breakfast and usually for lunch, and then I kind of wander around at supper. I don’t have the excuse that I don’t have groceries because I do and they are moldering in the refrigerator.
I am not out of my window just over my LIW by .6 but that is actually 4 pounds over where I’ve been running. So definitely a problem. I am going to try to mimic the foods I was eating all summer and fall To make sure I get enough calories but more on-protocol calories. If I don’t see a downward trend by the weekend, I’ll probably do either a steak day or an all protein day.
This happened kind of in leaps and bounds, up .4, up a pound, up .6, up a pound, up a pound.
So hopefully I can turn this around. I have really been enjoying my rocksteady weight for several months. I just have to get my act together.
This thread is really quiet, so Sam and Leez May be the only ones to see me rant, and I thank you in advance for your patience!
Onward!

I see you, PearlyMae
I used to do that often - have lots of perishable foods that I have every intention of eating, but I would lose inspiration/interest in cooking halfway through the week. Then came the guilt of throwing it all in the trash with visions of hungry people and burning cash, oh the shame.
Is it getting cold and dark where you live? Do you think general winter-dread could be a reason you're less inclined to cook in the evening? I know I looked at the clock last night and yelled, "IT'S ONLY FIVE?!! Are you kidding me!?" I swear I thought it was at least 9pm. I know it's time for vitamin d when I lose all motivation to stay awake mid-afternoon.
Are you skipping dinner altogether, or just going for snacks and processed food? Maybe it would help to make a couple large meals, that you could freeze and easily reheat. I did that with ginger-garlic-lemongrass chicken, cooked in water & then I froze the broth in portioned "discs" along with the chicken. Also did that with chicken tinga and pulled pork, and as long as I cook them low and slow I don't notice any decline in quality or flavor. I also started buying frozen vegetables because of the waste I was seeing.
Or, when you're hungry and inspired, write out your menu for the day, so you're not wandering aimlessly at dinner time. If I do that I'm more likely to complete the task, or decide I want something totally different, but it at least gives me the motivation and framework to get a decent meal in.
You're doing an amazing job, btw!! I am sorry you're stressed right now, but I'm inspired by your accomplishments. Hope you see some stabilization this week.
