Ok, so guess I'll be the first to post here on new October thread! Cannot believe it is October already. Time to get out the Halloween decor, I guess! And then before you know it Christmas time! And all the temptations and goodies that go with those days!

Not much to report, sounds like Polly has the big plans this weekend. It still feels like summer here. Dropped another .4 this morning. So now officially below last dose weight at 153.0, need to get back my wiggle room from transition days. If it happens, it happens, if not, just glad I got below without doing any correction days, just doing solid P3 eating. This is P3, Day 15. If I remember correctly, P3 is always 21 days, it's just P4 that is extended longer and longer in between rounds. Right? So technically have one more week of P3, then could go into p4. I never really made a big thing of P4 anyway. Prob won't this time either. The band has a gig tomorrow night, so will be going, and will prob drink a tiny bit, which is not on P3, but I will drive so that keeps me from over indulging. I'll tell myself not to drink anything, but invariably, give in, so just keeping it real. Will see how it goes. Glad it's Friday. Several football games excited to see this weekend. UVA had exciting game last nite, crazy ending. Fun times. Love football season! Have a great Friday everyone!

Correct. P3 is always 21 days, no matter what round you are on. The work of the hormone is completed at that point. You can continue eating P3 after that if you wish, but technically you will be in P4.

Well, on this Oct. 1st I report a jump from, wait for it, coconut oil. I just don't think about it all the time but basically, everything granola type has coconut in some form in it, my usual seasonal treats included, like TJ's little pumpkin spice granola bark.

This will come off and I'll be back but ugh.

    Good Saturday morning, Lovelies -

I had a mini cheat day lunch with my sister yesterday, we sat in the sunshine and had a couple of glasses of wine and salads. But I restrained my eating, so not too much damage. I also had a hot bath. Gotta encourage those whooshies!

P2d29, 618 cals yesterday, 137.5# this morning. Getting close to goal - 3 more tablets in the bottle, P3 starts Thursday!

gz, wow, you'll be on P3 soon. I love starting P3 on a Thursday or Friday, right at weekend time. So goal is 135? You're almost there. If lower, you'll prob drop some in p3 and P4. So exciting. Hope you enjoyed your lunch with sister yesterday.

mrsstrong, your're no stranger to this program, you know it's ups and downs. Give it a few days and gains will go back down. It has taken me a whole week to lose the gains from week at my daughter's house, actually still haven't lost entire amount yet. But inching downward. This morning down another .2, so now at 152.8 , so below last dose weight, so happy about that. A few days after I came home I bumped my leg on a metal bed frame that I don't see ( it's in a guest room, and covered by bed skirt)--took a huge gash out of my leg. After taking cortisone for knee for several years, gashes can be bad (hope not to have to take the cortisone again after gel injection) ANYWAY--BELOW that shin injury my left foot has swollen like crazy. So much inflammation!. Surprised I have continued to lose anything this week with all the inflammation going on. But am dropping slowly, but steadily. Gonna keep it elevated today for the most part since hubbs wants me to go with him tonite. Good excuse to sit on couch and watch football all day!

Anyway, going ok here. How's everyone else doing? Jeanette? Charlie? Rose? Leasa? mrsstrong and gz checked in already, phoebe, are you doing ok--you're in p4 I know. Polly is prob busy having fun this weekend, so prob won't hear from her, but thinking of her. I always miss people, but don't be offended, please. Anyone that would like to, please jump in , everyone is welcome! Happy Saturday!

Hi all, I'm jumping in from Leez's Sept Sassies thread. I've had a rough couple of days. To summarise, I introduced eggs into P2 because I have developed an extreme meat aversion. I seemed to be doing well on eggs and my losses kept going. I've been eating eggs for 7-8 days now.

Unfortunately, the past 4-5 days I've been feeling incredibly unwell. Nauseated, breathless, and exhausted. I tested negative to covid, thankfully, and I'm starting to come better today, but I didn't even have the energy to post on the forum. I increased my salts and I have a feeling it's a combination of hormones, a pre-existing condition, and the strain that the weight loss puts on the body. If it does continue, I will consider bringing the round to an early end because my overall health is more important than the weight loss, but given I'm feeling on the mend today, I'll see how I go day by day.

The increased salts have put me into a slight stall, but I expect that will just be water and it shouldn't affect the actual fat loss. I'm P2D18 today and 13.6lb down overall.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Samster, hope you are feeling much better today, and are on the mend. Not sure exactly what is going on. I hate to respond to these sorts of issues as I have no medical background, and truthfully have had no issues with the protocol during my rounds in the the past so leave it to more informed people to give guidance. Will say, a short round is just around the corner for you, so if you could hang on for the next few days at least, you will have completed at least a bone fide short round. Myself, I have come to appreciate short rounds, well long rounds with planned interruptions in the middle so basically short rounds of 23 days, then I have 14 days of p3 eating, and back to p2 after loading again to finish the long round. Some people don't want to do that, they want to stay focused and go on, but if you aren't feeling well for some reason, maybe stopping after a short round is the way to go. Good luck however you decide. And congratulations on the loss of 13.6 !

Samster, so sorry to read you have been unwell. Most of us think cutting the round short reduces your ability to stabilize. Could you consider a planned interruption instead? Several Lovelies have come back re-charged after a PI, and resumed weight loss. Another option is to raise your calories to 800 - 900, still avoiding fats, and finish the round.

I seem to remember you're doing injections? For your next round, you might want to consider hhcg instead. The hhcg concentration in your body is much lower, so if your response is overly strong, it might work better for you. I have been using tablets taken once per day, and getting good losses. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

    Good afternoon, Lovelies -

I'm getting restless on P2, glad I'm close to the end! P2d31, 561 cals yesterday. Two more tablets in the bottle, then a couple more VLCD days, then finally P3. I'm dreaming of whole eggs with butter, cream in my coffee . . . you get the picture

Dubbles and gz9gjg, thank you for the support and suggestions. I am feeling much improved today and, if that continues, I should be able to stick it out for the longer round. The salt tablets have made a huge difference and so I think my electrolytes got a bit out of kilter.

P2D19 and down 0.9lb since yesterday for a total of 14.5lb. From a weight loss perspective, this has been the steadiest experience I've had so far. I'm really happy about that, makes the meat aversion and the fatigue of the past few days feel worthwhile and manageable.

gz9gjg, it's going to be so exciting when you make it to P3. You're so close!

I'm glad to read you are feeling better, Samster. The dietary changes with hcg (and the keto diet), sometimes cause "the keto flu", which is mostly due to low electrolytes. My regular diet is keto, I use "lite salt" which is a 50/50 blend of sodium chloride and potassium chloride; and I take Mag24 supplements daily. Low electrolytes can cause headache, dizziness, fuzzy thinking, and constipation. When I get light-headed, often due to a very hot bath or excessive exercise, I have a cup of salty broth or bouillon. Good luck with the remainder of your round!

P2d32, 580 cals yesterday, no weigh-in. One more tablet in the bottle! I may not get to my goal weight, but I have clearly lost inches and my clothes fit much better. P3, here I come!
