Thread: Lovely Losers 2021- ON TOP OF IT in October!!

Hi, y'all! I'm back and in the midst of a goofed-up round, trying to get back to a sustainable weight. It's been a bit of a roller coaster trying to maintain since I finished up last spring, but it's all learning, right?

Anyway, I started a round in September, thought I'd keep it to a short one, ending right before a long weekend with BF, totally blew it on the vacay, gained five pounds, then another five when I got home, decided to treat it as a (very badly executed) interruption, started back on injections Friday, dropped the gained weight, and am hoping to drop another seven before the end of these 15 days for the second half of what will turn out to be a 40-day round. We'll see.

But it's all about P3 and P4 as far as I'm concerned. Still really trying to figure out how to live my best life in which I still fit into my skinny jeans. Last spring after losing all the weight I got rid of all my bigger-sized clothes, and now that we're heading into fall (still feels like summer, though!), I won't have jeans if I don't get back down.

I think I've realized 140ish is my best goal. I'd gotten very nearly below 130, but just couldn't sustain it.

According to the body comp scale, all my numbers are healthy even at 155, and I've been working on fine-tuning body composition with heavy lifting for the past few months. Still trying to find the sweet spot with activity as well . . . but I think I'm giving it a bit of a rest for the remainder of this P2 and do it by the book, more or less. The first three weeks of this P2 I went a bit rogue, and it didn't really go well. I guess I had to learn the hard way.

But I've also been researching and playing with keto in the off-season of HCG and think it's probably the best thing for this body. Figuring out how to sustain it long term is the rub, though.

Anyway, glad to see familiar names around here still staying committed to your health and well-being. It's a never-ending journey, isn't it? Cheers to its successful continuation!

Glad you posted. We just have to keep going!
I tried not being jeuk and I am not sure it will work so you have company. I am pretty seasoned if you need any resources!

    Thanks mrsstrong!

I know you are a great resource for all things health related, and I so appreciate that, but what do you mean by "I tried not being jeuk and I am not sure it will work so you have company"?

Penny was doing fine. No collasped trachea. Maybe something with her esophagus or just gerd. So they ran a bunch of tests. One they said it was a possiblility that she have complicationcs from it-shooting water into her lungs to see if---I forgt why. It was extremely unlikelyit would be a problem. Only now she has pneumonia and ... oh boy. Can hardly write about this. They now think she has cancer of liver an stomach lining. All I ask is that they get her through the pnemonia they GAVE her, and let me get her home so I can love on her for as long as I can. My thought now, in addition to all the other maddening thoughts, was if they could tell she didn't have a collasped trachea from looking at the old xrays, why didn't they tell me NOT TO COME? Because they lost her records, that's why. If I hadn't had them on my phone as a back up ---my vet sent them three weeks prior and then sent me a copy.

    Sorry.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. I have Pearl with me at work today.

o Pearly, how awful. They are supposed to help your doggie, not hurt her further. I'm mad for you too.

Thank you, all. It was so helpful to me to hear all of you expressing your concern and support.

Penny is still in the 'oxygen cage' but her fever broke over night and she is eating and barking today, standing up and looking around. They hope to wean her off of oxygen later today. I just want to bring here HOME! P
