    Hey Rose!

Hey DebRN! I thought the name sounded familiar. I started out with Janeen, Candy, Black Porshe, in a thread we called Procrastinators. Then moved to something we called Vanities which started out with hcgers who just had a last few pounds to lose, but eventually, everyone was there, and it became a broader group, which I think at some point morphed into Lovely Losers... or maybe we took that over, I can't recall.

That's where I met Christy, Brick, Leez, Kar, Last 10, Rose from Boulder, roselanoue, Kansas, hcgpro, Bella, Carry, Katt, sandieigorandy, Sunshine, tanyamac, beachy, schmeans and so many more wonderful friends!

What a wonderful portal to friendship!

I'm sorry I haven't posted these last few days. Oh boy, on the run. Reunion has gone fantastic, and all have left except my other sister and family. I'll tell more another day. I have to get some work done today so I can still play tomorrow. Then start new job on Tuesday. Whew.

    Thank you, Phoebe!

Love you all, gotta run! P

Welcome back, DebRN! Deb & Pearly, thanks for that trip down memory lane.

Misscast, back in the July thread you asked about my sublingual Rx. I really like it, but have no idea if I'll be able to get it again from my prior supplier since I haven't had to buy any new in a couple years. The only challenge is that it has to be refrigerated. If you're doing fine on the pellets, that's great! I've tired Rx pellets and couldn't get the dose right, but I have also used hhcg pellets and they worked ok. If I need to do another round and this bottle I'm still hanging onto no longer tests positive, I'm going to try diluting some old Rx pellets that I have laying around.

AFM, I've been lurking throughout P4 without much to report. I still do a traditional steak day almost every Sunday whether needed or not, as an intermittent-fasting type day. Yesterday I actually needed it. Oops. I was hungry a few hours after dinner and couldn't stand it, so I had a piece of fresh mozzarella and second apple. I woke up to a 2 pound loss and back in my window, so I'll call it a success.

Hope everyone has a great day!
    ~Karen~

    Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Kar and DebRn and everyone nice to see you! Pearly we all can't wait to hear more about the reunion. I am still practicing and discarding (Giggle) different maintenance strategies. I tried intermittent fasting but that just made me starving at night. Maybe eating at 11 am was too late when I get up early, maybe I'll try 10 am if I ever try that again. Has anyone used this and had success with it? It just seemed that I was eating huge meals at 11 and was starving after dinner.

I am not losing this weight but have stopped gaining. I am going to see how I do and try to work off a few pounds. I need to learn how to maintain. My current plan is to try some different maintain strategies , do some steak days, some high protein and clean eating days and see if I can get some movement on the scale. I am thinking of doing a 23 day round August 21 with my daughter. That plan seems to have "taken the edge off" my anxiety about the weight gain. Now I am just trying to learn how to live without constantly dieting. It's not going that well TBH (see intermittent fasting experiment, above ), but I am keeping calm and learning. What maintenance ideas have worked for you? Please comment!

One important thing has been getting better control of my hunger/huge appetite.
I seem to have gotten better control by:
Drinking a lot of water and herb tea (until my 5 PM cutoff) seems to help with my eating and digestion.
Several cups of Black coffee in the morning and a cup of green tea help.
Half my plate is veggies whenever I eat.
I have veggies (non starchy) first if I am hungry.
I eat when I am hungry before I get starving and lose my perspective. So I carry veggies and water in a lunchbox when I go out because I am often delayed, and don't want to be caught without foods.
I am looking at my supplements, probiotics and vitamins and making sure I use them.
Sugar is the devil. It must be limited. If I eat something sugary, I don't eat afterwards.

I could do a better job of consistently sticking to my exercise plan. The hot weather and mosquitos are a challenge. Mosquitos Really love me...Why I just don't know....

    Have a great Tuesday Night!

Ugh, I thought for sure I posted this morning! Hopping back on for the remainder of my round tomorrow! I gained 2 pounds, so not as much as my last PI. I stayed mostly on protocol but not 100%... I kind of felt a bit unsatiable on many days too so that worries me for when my round is over but we shall see. I am just going to keep going and stick with it 7 pounds to go in 16 days. Should come close enough!

Glad your round is going well, Rose! 10 pounds, woohoo!

Polly, good to hear the reunion went well! That was no small feat to pull off!

Good to see you, Kar! Going to remember your fasting/steak Sunday in case that is something I need as well. Sounds like it works well for you!

RK, it seems so elusive! I say keep meals simple and what you mention here all sounds very good. I personally prefer eating earlier in the day and stopping earlier when IF. Like stop eating at 5pm. Maybe something to try.

    See you tomorrow!

No change for me. Still sitting no change 3 days and stuck at 11 lb weight loss. Hopefully by end of week . I know this happens but sure do not like it. Especially since this time i have more to lose. I will prob have to mix more hcg to get thru 40 days. Taking between 125-130 units Hunger minimal but more than i had last round. Maybe a new batch will help
Need to end the round by Aug 20 as i want to be on P3 when i leave for Denver

Hey all, I'm back from my 3 day family weekend PI and I have to admit I went pretty far afield. Out of town relatives over one night and a family party, plus meals out - 5 weeks of a spartan diet caused me to go slightly insane. Did NOT stay P3, not even close. Cake, macaroni and potato salad, pasta, cheese and crackers, chips and salsa, desserts, you name it, I ate it.

But i got it out of my system and with the uncomfortable feelings of indigestion, feeling stuffed, feeling tired after I eat, I went running back to P2 with open arms.

Gained 3 LBs but I remind myself that they're called carboHYDRATES for a reason. May have gained more but was scared to weigh myself until this morning after a day of P2.

RK - the thing that helped me maintain was pretty much endless P3, unfortunately, with the occasional sandwich, brown rice or potato.

Kar, thanks for the info. I'm doing hhcg pellets as well. Haven't even started back on them and my appetite is pretty low already.

Rose and Pearly - Hi :-)

Hi-- Everyone! Back from my trip to Virginia, was gone almost a week. Was back last night, but went out last night, so didn't post last night, no time--hubbs band had a gig, and met a friend there and we went to casino after so I was really exhausted after from traveling, then a night out right afterwards! But its a rare thing for me. Anyway, had a great time, loved being with the kids, seeing them swim at their Champs Tournament, their Awards Banquet and just hanging with them. It was a lot of fun. Wouldve loved to stay longer, except I needed to be home for last night's plans. Didn't eat p3, but I am on P4. Had pizza several nights, as that is what the kids wanted and their reward for such hard work with swim team all summer was all the PIZZA they wanted . Also before meets, there were 2 nites of carbo loading, pasta--but guess what even tho I wasn't swimming I carbo loaded to support them! Ha! delicious! Truthfully I tried to use portion control and think I did pretty good. I didnt have bread with the pasta (did have whole wheat pasta with the meat sauce tho,) For breakfast I would fix myself slices of bacon, instead of the sausage I would have had at home, so kept it low carb at breakfast, tho last day had donuts with everyone. Had some cherry pie and ice cream one night, and a Dairy Queen ice cream one night. Just trying to remember all my infidelities, this past week--last night I had light beer, and fried fish, and on the way home--driving myself, I did get one of those small cans of pringles to snack on, and ate that. Anyway, worried about weighing in---this morning, weighed in at 160! Yay! Doing a happy dance! Left weighing 158.8, so only gained, 1.2 lb! I can hardly believe it myself. Part of it I think is we are on the go constantly there, so probably expend more energy calories than usual. Am very happy. Still planning on doing a short round sometime towards the end of this month, just can't figure out when to do it that will work well with plans. Anyone else planning a short P2 soon?

I read some when I was gone, I don't remember everything. But I do remember that Polly got a job! Woohoo! Good for you Polly. I think you were to start yesterday? How did that go? And if I remember everything went well with reunion. So glad. And mrsstrong is back from her planned interruption with very slight gain, that is good, too.

misscast, a gain of 3 lbs should be easy to put behind you. Hope your 3 day family weekend was fun! I gained that before during one cheat meal, when I cheated but wasn't off hcg, and I have to admit it took me about 4 days -- quite a while to lose that gain, but I had'nt gone off the hcg . I'm thinking you planned for the pI? Regardless, sometimes we just need the break, we need to get it out of our system. When I do planned interruptions, I do long ones, I do them long enough that I need to do loading days, I know it is sometimes counterproductive in some people's minds, because i am relosing lbs, but it is what need to do to have those carbs again--tho, I never seem to be able to stuff myself as I used to. Good luck with the rest of your round.

    Rose hi!

Catch everyone later! It is so beautiful here weather wise, and wish I could say I am happy to be home, but I always am sad to leave my babies there! Oh well, It is what it is! Onward.

    Hello Lovelies,

Hope everyone is having a great day!
Glad that the planned interruptions went well for Miscast and MrsStrong!
Dubbles your trip sounds really fun.
Kar good idea with Sunday steak days— I may try that on Mondays…. Weekends can be tough.
Miscast I agree that I have to do more P3 type clean eating…
Roselanou the losses will come And you are probably reshaping more.
So Excited that Pearly got a new job!

AFM: I am still the same weight, but the calcium I am taking for my osteoporosis seems to be quite constipating and so when I weigh myself in the morning first thing it may not be as accurate as before I started these pills. At least I am no longer gaining. I am also getting more motivated to figure out solutions because it is clear that if I go back to my old ways I will just go back to the same weight again. That is kind of been a mind shift for me. Recognizing what everyone else already realized, That we have to stay kind of P3 or figure out some plan to keep us at the weight we want to stay at. It’s just not gonna happen magically sadly ha ha. I apparently have some fun bad habits that I am learning to recognize so I can change and stay at the weight I want to be once I get back there.

Hope everyone has a great day! So glad it’s Wednesday!

    Fondly,
    RK

Good Thursday Morning! Now that I'm back, I'm back. Ha. Not a lot to say, but I thought I'd post a bit this morning, did drop a little of trip gain, went back down to 159.4. Glad to go back down into 150's, barely,.

rk-do you take magnesium? Might help with problems with calcium. I take two 500 mg every night without fail, works for me. And yes, life is sorta permanent P3 except for special occassions, dinners out, or celebrations--for me anyway, if I hope to keep weight gain at bay. Translates to as few added sugars or grains as possible on daily basis as possible, though I do include more high sugar fruits or more varied veggies or cheeses than I might on p2. I am still afraid to add grains to diet tho I had pasta twice on my trip last week and not a great gain which was surprising to me. I really expected a bigger jump. I really need to experiment with a sandwich.

DebRN, I was so delighted to see your post! You are doing great with your losses! Sometimes can see your support on likes on postings, but love hearing from you. I post but am seriously so repetitive that I know I am boring , but it helps me be accountable. Seems a lot of you were on the threads together in the past.

Kar, I have never done a real steak day. Have meant to, planned to, but never followed through with one. I don't handle eating nothing all day till dinner. I don't do well on the intermittent fasting plan. I don't even do P2 correctly, because I have either fruit or grissini sticks and coffee on P2 . But I would love to lose the 2 lbs in the a.m. Good for you!

To everyone else, hope to hear from you later today--it's still early. Hoping your job went well, Polly. I'm going to take dogs out for a bit. Catch ya'll later! Enjoy the day, summer will be over before you know it!

Hi everyone! First time posting here, though not the first time on HCG. I initially tried HCG in 2016 with great results, I ended up losing 30 lbs at a much lower starting weight than I am now. I tried to start my second round in July but had travel planned so it made more sense to start now. VLCD day 1 starting tomorrow, and will be doing a 40 day round.

It's a bit hard as I live in Europe (but am from America), so I had to bring my shots with me in a insulated cooler in my checked luggage. That's all good, but its harder to find Pam and Grissini and things like that here. I'm trying to look at the bright side of cutting out the starch, and maybe as a result I will crave starches less going forward! Anyway, I would love to stick to the forum for inspiration and accountability as I've been lurking for awhile and know we have lots of HCG veterans with great tips!!
