LOVELY LOSERS 2021 - You're HOTTER than JULY!!!

Rose, I have a small hiatal hernia near my esophagus and as such Iím always at risk for Gerd. About 15 yearsAgo I was prescribed over-the-counter generic famotidine, available At Walmart for four dollars for 60 tablets. I take 20 MG. Twice a day. I have had absolutely no problem with Gerd since. I still have a hiatal hernia but it really doesnít give me any trouble.

Iím not telling you to go to Walmart and treat yourself. But just that there are simple answers to your question. It says on all heartburn type medicine to only take itFor two weeks I think, but the doctor just prescribed it to me so not only did he say just take it continuously and donít worry about it but I have been to many doctors since for various things and they find out that Iím taking it and say ohGood fine.

Taking Dogs to the groomers then bicycling with friends on my little zoom zoom bike.

That 127.4 was a mirage. Down 1.4 yesterday up 2 today. I have to remember I am on P4 and I am not trying to lose weight I am trying to stay stable. Oh yeah. Onward!

Hahaha Pearly, I am glad you clarified about the lemonaide, I just thought you meant that it was a tasty drink! LOL.... seriously though....I have not "gone" (TMI) in probably a week and didn't even really think about it until it was mentioned...my stomach feels great though...may need to get me some smooth move tea, (Or that lemonaide!!). Even my last round I was a "go" every single day after I had my coffee.... Hmmmmm...ONWARD!

Rose, I, like Dubbles, count my load weight. The way I look at it is I gained that weight...so I'm counting it. (And most of the time I gained it by eating everything I think I will miss on this protocol) but the beauty of it is that it comes off so fast!!

AFM, i dropped 1.9 today!! Yesterday was a bit odd...well, sort of odd but I was not hungry at all...I mean, not even at meal times. I didn't eat my normal apple around 10:30 am and I ate dinner around 7:30 (we had a meeting with our realetor so that was unavoidable), but I wasn't even hungry when I ate dinner. I did manage to eat a small apple late afternoon before the meeting (which I shared with Indy (my puppy) she loves apples and has already learned how to beg for some! Anyhow, that is just not typical for me to not feel hungry even at meal times, not that I am complaining...I mean, I could have bigger issues, but it was just odd. Oh... I also ate a blackberry (just one)...I have two containers of them in the fridge that my husband and daughter aren't eating... I love blackbarries and I wish I could eat them right now!!

Dubbles, you are doing so great with your stabilization!! On my last P3 I was amazed what I could eat and not gain... I had cherry pie a la mode (for my daughters birthday) and actaully at it a couple days in a row with out a substantial gain. I never did go over that 2 # mark, until I loaded again..

158.6 today!! Woohoo!! I will celebrate today with being in the 150's, but... I know me and I do go up a few and down a few...it's just how it goes for me.

And the .6 is back on. Just going to keep going and hope that by the end of it all I will be at goal. If not, I am going to be happy here as well. Simple.

I have more energy this morning but had to take a Cepacol lozenge during the night and suck on it off and on. So sore again. I don't think it's strep but could be. Same intensity. Drinking a lot and am so thirsty. Now our cat is sick too Vet coming this morning. He has been listless and just not himself. My son came home from a trip to Chicago to visit my sister-in-law and family and he is sick too. Gah! Oh and my parents don't live near a flood zone but the closest hospital is being evacuated due to severe floods in parts of The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Luxemburg! Crazy times!

Well, onward is all I can do.

Oh no, sorry to hear you are still under the weather, your son now and your kitty!! Have you been tested for Covid? I hear the varient strain isn't as bad I guess but more contagious. When my husband had covid he had a really bad sore throat, thought it was strep, but it was covid. When I had it, I didn't have a sore throat at all so it effects everyone different. But, feeling bad in the summer months is just not fun!! I think you can only do what you can do and I think you are at a good mindset as far as your weight goes!! I was thinking this morning that if I stopped right now, I am at a pretty good weight for me. All any of us can do is the best we can do. I really hope you all feel better and hope your kitty feels better too!! And hope your parents are ok!! Gosh... so much going on in this world today!!

Maybe. Not much to do about it but work through it. Thinking of getting tested though.

Kitty has a 105 fever Got antibiotics, IV fluids, and kitty Tylenol. Poor thing. I am so glad we have a vet who comes to our house.

mrsstrong, you have really been thru the wringer as they say, and now even the family pet, kitty is feeling poorly., and your son. It's too much. For sure. Hope for healing for all of you. I've seen video on news of the flooding in parts of the Netherlands, Germany....looks awful, so glad your parents are safe. I agree, crazy times. Saw some video of flooding here in the states as well. Like Phoebe said in her post, so much going on right now. The son that came home from trip to Chicago, this is different one from the one in West Point? Hope everyone feels better soon.

Yes. Itís my 15yo who spent a week with his cousins. My husband and I were looking forward to a week alone and here we were, sick and injured. Gah.
My parents live about a meter and a half above the expected flood levels in their area. Good grief. My brother is high enough as well but lots of friends and family are evacuating.

Nights still have trouble with shortness of breath and lots of GERD symptoms. Going to Dr today to see if they can recommend otc meds for GERD (gastro esophageal reflux) I was prescribed Nexium generic 40 mg but only took 2 days. Absolutely makes me too groggy and lacking energy. I am a type A and cannot deal with side effects. So quit taking them awhile back.

I have to be present at gallery exhibit this Saturday around noon so thinking to eat lunch a little early as i will not be home till 5
Question for anyone: Do you calculate losses before you start loading or after loading? I cannot remember. I think i count from the first shot day. Not much to calculate at this point but trying to refresh my mind. I think i always do it wrong but i usually do not load much extra (mistake) so it is probably a non issue.

Pearly you lost LOTS of weight since last time i was on the forum. I think First of April was my last post. I think whatever you lost went on my scale. Lol
    Hi Rose,

Welcome Back. If I remember correctly you ended a round early to take the Covid Vaccine, is that correct. I always use my weight on the first dose morning "before loading" to determine my true losses, since the load weight is just temporary anyway, which is why It comes off so quickly.

Which round will this be for you, and how much do you want to lose on this round?

158.6 today!! Woohoo!! I will celebrate today with being in the 150's, but... I know me and I do go up a few and down a few...it's just how it goes for me.
Phoebe, congrats again on 150 land! That 'decade' number seems so much more important that it's a bigger annoyance when you go up and down around it. And in 12 days, that's outstanding.

Dubbles, you are an inspiration! Keep up the good work!

    Mrsstrong, get well soon!

I'm down an LB this morning, which is only 8 LBs in 20 days. I'm heartened to read that not everyone is dropping 10LBs a week (not to jinx anyone) because it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. I chalked it up to real hcg just works better than the homeo that I take.

Granted I'm eating more protein and therefore more calories but I'm doing a lot of physical work as well as a 5 mile walk a few times a week.

Other than the extra protein calories I'm POP. I eat twice a day - a protein and green vegetables and some days I'll have a fruit. No melba and no deviation. Knock wood I think I've finally got my dosage right. Recommended dosage was 3 pellets/3X/Day. I'm doing 2 4X and some days 5X. I know I've said that before but restating for anyone new reading who's doing hHCG pellets. I died of hunger my last 2 rounds.

ETA: Woot! my 100th post lol

ETA again: Rereading my post I realize I must confess to an occasional vodka soda along the way...

LOVELY LOSERS 2021 - You're HOTTER than JULY!!!

    Good morning, every buddy!

Congrats for the breakthroughs to the 150ís!!! I know that feels great. You worked hard for it!

I walked 3.35 miles yesterday NOT BY CHOICE! Lol. I thought we were going to bike ride and that is an easy trail on my E-bike. But it turned out one of the ladies didnít have a bike so we walked. And I do not have E-shoes!!! Had to take every #%{*+ step myself.

In addition, One friend just quit a frustrating job and the other is going through a divorce. While venting we mustíve been walking 40 miles an hour! We did not walk, we marched! I finally had to say we either had to slow down and turn around or theyíre going to have to come pick me up in the car.

I Was pleased to be able to give them a shoulder to vent on. I have been through both things, so could really understand where they were coming from.

I made it fine but I was tired the rest of the day. This is after getting exhausted with the exercise bike test at the doctors on Wednesday. I am not nearly as stiff today as I have been, but I am bone tired. Going from
Walking to my car in the garage to walking 3 miles in the heat is called overdoing.

For those who walk and run 5 miles a day you are laughing at me, but I have never been a walker. I used to be a runner, and loved that, but I wore out my feet ankles and knees many years ago so canít do that anymore. Until last year and breathing/heart rate issues, Iíve been a swimmer not a walker.

Sorry. Just grumpy today. I have blown through my wiggle room and am now only .2 below LDW. Up 4 pounds in last 3 days!!!! I know that 2 were a fantasy drop that came right back and the rest is probably inflammation, but still pouting.

Will stick to iced Turmeric Tea w lemon todayÖ and ibuprofen!

    Onward.
