As for me, well...I really overdid it yesterday, food wise. I had mixed nuts, cheese, popcorn but I think the kicker, what really put me over the top was a big bowl of cherries!! I could not stop eating them! I kept going back for more, this was at around 9pm too!! I really shouldn't eat past 7, but anyhow, after those cherries... I....WAS.... SO...... BLOATED!! No surprise that I gained this morning!! I'm up a wooping 2.8#'s!! I have never gained that much in one day, even on a load day!! Well...all I can say is lesson learned. Today is a new day started off with some greek yogurt and blueberries. I still feel bloated! ONWARD!

Wow, Phoebe! Awful! Citronella essential oil!

That is some jump from just cherries! Maybe they fermented in your stomach and you made some cherries wine in there Hope it comes off nicely.

First no drop day! Exactly at 155 so happy. I am sore this morning so I may actually be a little less but I am not going to do this to myself.

When I get back from the PI I may need to adjust drops down again. I was craving the last few days but knowing I was going into the PI I didn't adjust. If these two days I am less hungry, I will know where things are at.

Nothing else much going on here! Have a great Thursday!

mrsstrong...I know, right!! Awful is exactly the way I feel. I probably shouldn't have eaten the nuts, I also had lillys chocolate, probably more then I should have and the lemon herb chicken thighs I had for dinner, not sure if those were marinated in sugar or not but too late to dwell on it now, it's in the past.

I sure am still bloated feeling today though...still... not sure why. Well, got some work to do. Going to a concert in the park tonight and we are getting el pollo loco. Just gonna order a salad. Here's hoping tomorrows weight is better.

    Hello Lovelies

Thank you for all the support. I so appreciate the great ideas. It's funny how sometimes I can just get paralyzed on my own issues, but am better at other people's problems than mine.

Ice and essential oil is a great idea.
Phoebe/karen It is aggravating the hubby's are so fine and not bitten! So sorry about your foot! I also love fruit--probably the sugar....

Mrs Strong P3 foods is a such a wonderful idea! I am a bit abashed that I did not come up with that. However, I am so grateful that You did! I agree that low carb tomorrow will help. I am apparently a "fruitatarian" today, so tomorrow I will do P3 and low carb. Yes if tomorrow is bad I can do a touch up round and just get back on track. You are right that if I don't get back on the wagon I could end up heavier.

We have family birthdays coming up and it seems so sad without Dad. But Dad would not want us to be sad.

I bought a variety of natural mosquito repellent products. I will post my results.

Miscast what is raw adrenals? I have hashimoto's Thyroiditis like most people. I wonder if that would help me. I also always run 96.4.

rkthin, it's a brand called Natural Sources, Raw Thyroid, and it's a combination of freeze dried glands. Sounds gross but from what I've read, before thyroid meds were invented Docs would prescribe sweetbreads for women with low thyroid. Thanks for mentioning the stop the madness website. I was trying to think of it, there's also a breast health site that advocates for supp iodine because it's an important nutrient for breast health as well. Where I live now, my home town, is in what they call the 'goiter belt' because ppl don't get a lot of iodine in their food.

My mom had a goiter taken out when she was a child. The country doc did the operation on the kitchen table! Yikes.

mrsstrong, what do you think you'll be eating on your PI and how long will you be doing it? I'm doing one next week when I have family coming into town for the weekend.

Phoebe - El Pollo Loco, awww. Makes me miss LA. It's 2 years this month since I moved.

AFM, still hanging at 162 but feeling amazing (outside of TESS.) Every morning the scale disappoints but the mirror does not! I'm back doing strength training and walking and my digestive system seems to have left the building so that may be the reason the scale isn't moving. But I put on a pair of jeans that I could barely get on over my butt last summer and I can grab a fistful of fabric at the biggest part of my thighs so all good.

By the time I catch up with you guys in the 150's you all will be in P46 or something.

Good Friday Morning Lovely Losers! I'm back! Sorry I have been gone, have been so busy, had computer issues--don't ask, both hubbs and I are terrible at computer stuff, finally got it figured out, last nite, but wasn't even reading posts for a bit. Felt under the weather a couple of days; my pittie, Sophie hurt her paw and was back and forth to vet; dear daughter had issues to deal with re her one son (the older the son, the bigger the prob, he's 21, he's moving back home till he gets a job); I've been upset with hubbs, too many things going on to bother you all with, so just stayed away. Not much good to anyone with the state of mind I was in, ha! Feel better now both physically and mentally. I tried reading postings this morning, but won't address everything individually, so much to catch up on, mosquito bites (they absolutely love me), TESS being it's nasty self, cherry issues (I LOVE Bing cherries, totally relate to binge eating those, so will not purchase those or grapes, can't stop once I start and I will gain with grapes)! To Phoebe and mrsstrong, think you're both about to go on P3 eating or planned interruptions, ENJOY! To misscast and anyone else battling P2 hang in there it IS about lbs AND inches, to rk--2 weeks of vacation or traveling for work will do a number on any of us, it'll come back down. About your Dad, I know the 1st celebrations after losing a loved one are difficult, but like you said, he wouldnt want you to be sad, so hopefully you will be able to recall the happy memories you shared with him on such occassions. Hugs to you. Polly, sorry Penny (and by extension, you) had a sleepless night. We do so agonize when our fur babies are hurting or when ill--I'm the same way. About your weight, you always hang around your tiny weight. You're inspiring to all of us.

I'm doing good weight wise. I think so much has been going on here I haven't worried about it a lot. And I seem to be losing. This morning I weighed in at 156.8. That's now 5.8 below LDW, only 6.87 away from goal weight, and for a total of 50.2 lost since first of year. I don't understand why I'm losing now. I'm not trying really. I'm still concentrating on eating enough, but not writing it all down anymore. Last Sunday we ordered Outback, but when it came I decided I didn't want the steak, but wanted CARBS, SO I ate the baked potato, with butter and sour cream, a full piece of cheesecake with chocolate sauce, and big chunk of their brown bread. Gave the steak to my 2 dogs (they are so spoiled). I needed tHat potato. I think I went up slightly the next day, but it has since gone, and then some. Ill take it. On Wednesday of next week I'll be leaving to go to Virginia, to spend a week with family. The "littles" (that's what we call the 3 who are 13 and under) have swim championship tournament and swim banquet and a golf tournament, the 7 year old is a really good little golfer!. It will be fun, but busy. Always busy there, they eat very late,, tho. And I am always exhausted there. So will be off line after Wednesday again. But now that computer is back up, will check again later today, and before I go. Hope everyone has a good weekend and is holding up under this heat.

Meat and veggies, eggs, bacon, yogurt, nuts. I eat normal for me P3. Maybe a little wine since I am with friends.

I am back at the gym too after almost two weeks between my back and the cold. Taking it very easy but feels so good!

Lol P46! Patience. Youíll get there!

Good to see you, Dubbles! Life happens! Glad things got smoothed out more or less!

Our bodies are so interesting. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to gaining or losing. Hormones play a role too.

Ah, Dubs! Sorry about your week. We are here for ya regardless! Awesome to lose on baked potato!

Wondering if low thyroid attracts mosquitoes! I take T3 and T4 and still run temp of 97.4. Without T3 I was often 93.4 in the a.m. thatís not a temperature, thatís a radio station. I think hypothermia starts at 91.

My panic over gaining almost 5 pounds in 4 daysÖ whew. Back down 3 and the other 2 were just lack of gravity or something. So am back to where I was before and HAPPY about that.

Job I wanted Ö they were not impressed. I didnít make the second interview round. Ok, found out the salary was a lot less and I really kind if wanted it for prestige factor. Oh well. I have another nibble, second interview on Monday.

Penny got a steroid shot and already is feeling better. Whew.

Iím gonzo busy this week, too. Family reunion next weekend here. Iím sort if the host. Yowza!

    Onward!

    Happy Friday everyone!

Dubbs, glad to hear from you! I was getting worried!! And as Pearly said...we are always here for you!! Come vent all you like!! Glad you are doing better and have a super fun time with your grandkids!!

Misscast, aww... do you ever come out to visit? The weather has been very humid lately, which is not super typical, at least not for it to last for weeks and weeks this early in the summer! And... look at the bright side, at least you can buy hcg where you are! Ha! Glad you are hanging in there!! And, yes, as Mrsstrong said...patience, it will come off soon, just trust the process. You've got this!!

Pearly, glad Penny is feeling better!! And your weight is back down!! Woohoo!!

Mrsstrong, wine....oh the wine.... yep, had some last night and I was so fearful of that darn TESS this morning!! Good job being back at the gym.... I need to get back there as well and tone this body up!!

Rk... yes...very annoying that hubs doesn't get bit!! He always says it's because I am so sweet and he is so sour!! Hmmm...maybe he is on to something there!! Just kidding!! Hope everything evens out for you soon, don't beat yourself up, just get back on that ol' wagon. You've got this!

AFM, I was up .4#'s this morning. Still have a little wiggle room but after the 1st day of P3, that wiggle room got much smaller!! Yesterday we went to a summer concert and my neighbor brought wine, poured me a huge tumbler full, without even asking if I wanted any, and of course....didn't want to be rude, so, I drank it...every last drop. Plus kept taking handfuls of trail mix, was good to not eat the m&m's in the trailmix but did eat a ton of raisins & nuts... plus got home, had such a sweet tooth, ate blueberris, lillys chocolate and yep...you guessed it, more cherries... this time I used will power as to only take a few in a bowl...but, that was at 10 pm last night!! I was so afraid to step on the scale this morning but did anyway and was up .4 ugggg... could have been worse! Today I am going to really try to eat good, healthy p3 foods and get me some more wiggle room!!

    Have a good day everyone!

Pearly, glad you are back to where you were! Sigh of relief I am sure! Sounds like the job wasn't it. Hopefully, the other one will be! Glad Penny is feeling better!

Phoebe, ahhhh social events can be so hard! I hope today went well and you created some wiggle room!

AFM, tomorrow starts my PI but I had an extra meal this evening. We are at the coast and it's not a vacation unless you go out for dinner so I had some yummy steamed clams. Not too bad of a plurge. Can't wait for P3 foods tomorrow! There is an awesome little place we like to go to and the owner does his own fishing. The fish tacos are delicious. I plan on having some without the taco.

I love cherries but am super sensitive to them. I usually go up 2-3 lbs. and have gone up as much as 5 lbs. in a day after eating them (depending on what else I might have eaten the same day especially cheese). The good thing about it, is that they're only readily available for a few months before they disappear from the store..
I'm sensitive to blueberries and greek yogurt too, so if I had those they next day as you did I'd go up 3 more lbs. I could however eat a whole pint of ice cream or anything else with sugar in P4 and not gain at all.
