LOVELY LOSERS 2021 - You're HOTTER than JULY!!!

Edit! MrsS! We posted at the same time! Iím so sorry you have a head cold. But I had the worst head cold my very first round. I stalled for 10 days and went to 47 days to finish my first round because of it. But at that time I was so determined to lose the weight that I just kept chugging along. It is so hard. But you can do it if you want to. Just donít worry about losing while youíre so sick and know that it might take you longer. And halls makes a very good sugar-free eucalyptus and honey cough drop. I live on them several times a year!

And Chamomile tea is the best

Rose! Hi there Iím glad to hear from you. Hope all is going well in your world.

Phoebe, when you get down so you canít get to the liquid in the bottom of the vial, stick your needle in so just barely shows above the rubber stopper inside, and turn the bottle upside down. You will be able to get all but one or two drops out of it this way. We use such a small amount, that a little bit goes a long ways. What looks like hardly anything in a bottle will fill up those skinny syringe is just fine.

Dubs, I am not sure what causes those sudden losses that go away again. In my case I think itís just the volume of food. I went to Denver hospital again yesterday, hour and a half drive each way, had to leave at 6:30 AM so I was up around five to feed and medicate dogs, finish one last thing for client, pack a lunch, Etc. Early weigh in was down .4 and had expected up.

I was not sure if I was supposed to eat before some blood tests so I only had water. And then it turned out I didnít get to eat my lunch until driving home after 1 PM. I kept thinking I would stop and get something but I couldnít think of anything I wanted, at least not on my side of the road! Lol. So I drove all the way home on a little piece of quiche and some not very good but very expensive nut bread I got at the hospital coffeeshop. I really didnít want to eat it but I only got some pennies and nickels back from my five dollar bill for it so I was not gonna let it go to waste either!

I was super super super tired when I got home. I put on my jammies at 4 PM and just snacked the rest of the evening before going to bed early. I did not feel like cooking or even warming anything up. So I had a couple slices of cheese with pork rinds, later yogurt with blueberries and sliced almonds, later still a few strawberries. Oh yeah, and a Keto ice cream bar from Costco w erythritol in it. Only slight reaction to that, thank goodness.

At the time I thought I was eating a lot of stuff. But going over again today, well not so much!

So I was stunned to be down today. 1.6 down! I was at 129 yesterday which was good. Actually fabulous. Iíve been in the 128 sometimes but not necessary I keep telling myself. Today 127.4.

I I did sleep late until almost 9 oíclock to make up for being so tired yesterday. Iíve been planning on it all week! Ha ha. So we shall see how long it takes to go BLOOP back up!

    Onward!

This morning when I did my injection, I noticed how little hcg I have left in the vial...I am hoping it looks like a little but there is more then what it looks like (if you know what I mean), anyway, if it gets me to the end of next week, that would be great, but if not...that means I will only be doing a really short, a not on protocol round, (which i will be doing by taking a PI before 23 injections anyway, but going on a PI next week I will have had 21 injections total but at least pretty close to the 23 required) BUT....if I don't have enough to get me there, what should I do? I have another round from colin f watson, which I have heard, once mixed, will only last 3 weeks or 23 days and this wasn't easy to obtain since HCG is no longer allowed to be shipped to CA. Even if I mix the other hcg that I have, I will be going on a PI, since I will be traveling, and won't be able to continue until Aug. 6th, which means the hcg will most likely have lost its potency by then.

So....ha! While writing all of the above, I pretty much decided that I am going to have to just go rogue this round (Have never done that before), hope the vial lasts me longer then it looks, and just go into a PI when I run out and pray that I stabilize during my PI, then just get back to it on Aug. 6th. Any thoughts or experiences that you have had or heard of, please share.

Today is VLCD10 for me and I was down 1.5#'s to exactly 159.9!! WooHoo.... the 150's!! Haven't been here for many years!!
Haha, just under the wire! But it counts! Congrats.

ETA - Oops, Posted this before I read your latest. But you're still close.

Mrsstrong uggg...no fun having a cold on this diet, I remember one round I actually got the 24 hour flu and all I ate was soda crackers and drank full sugar ginger ale.... you gotta do what you gotta do!! I actually think I lost a little during that time but everything I ate and drank came up... so that was the reason for that...no fun though!! Take care and maybe try those sugar free cough drops Pearly mentioned.

Misscast... it only lasted one day!! back into the 160's today...woohoo!! (Hey, at least it's not in the 180's where I was just a few short months ago)!! I was looking back at my last round and this is just how it goes for me...it's all those fat cells filling up with water... hey, did you ever find the illustration on that?? I think that was you that was going to look for that. How are your losses going??

Pearly, thanks for the comment about sticking the needle in.. I figured that would be how I would do it but I wasn't exactly sure either.. and yep, I can relate to the cost of the nut bread you got and not wanting to throw $ away... I feel I am getting the most out of this bottle of HCG i have. Ha! Glad you were able to sleep in too!! I, for one, think sleep is so important, at least for me it is. If I don't get a good night sleep I am in a cloud all day.....and sleeping in until 9?? Oh my how I would love to do that!! With this new puppy, I am super sleep deprived right now, but I wouldn't change a thing. Once those sharp teeth of hers fall out... I will be even more excited!

Well... I had better get some work done. Will check back later.

I recommend the Minute Maid sugar free LemonadeÖ. !

Psyllium powder would be gentler, and Walmart stocks sugar free.

My back is 95% better but my cold is not. It is really hard to do this with a cold because I want (and have taken) throat drops here and there for soothing. What I really want is honey but will hold off.

I felt like throwing in the towel yesterday and felt like snacking all day but I am sticking to it! Just adding a lot of electrolytes, salt, vitamins, etc.

mrsstrong, glad your back is pretty near back to 100 per cent, not quite, but almost. I hate summer colds, for some reason they seem the worst. I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you want to snack all day, that is the hardest part of p2 for me-there is really no wiggle room to do this during weight loss phase. And there are days I really feel like snacking all day now! I find them a little worrisome, frankly. But I just try and snack on something like tuna pnut butter and celery, or sugar free chocolate chip, but on P2 --NOTHING. That's why P2 is so Mental! I have got to get myself geared up for it! You don't have much longer till your PI. Another 9? 10 days? Hope you feel much better soon.

    Dubbles, 9 days of P2!
The snacks feeling is most gone today. I adjusted drops again. By accident. Forgot a dose yesterday and felt better so lower it is.

I'm with Polly, drink a lot of the sugar free Lemonade. Polly, I hope all your tests went well, and everything is fine?

Unfortunately, my dogs do not let me sleep in late-up at 8:00 a.m. for sure. But that's better than 6:30, which they used to prefer. I have sleep issues anyway. Another story.

And unfortunately, I think most of us, have these crazy up ticks and downticks with our weight loss journeys. Frustrating to be sure, especially when on P2 and you are trying so hard to be POP. But it is what it is, and it will even out in the long run--and average out over the round. I don't know about you all but I generally average from .5 per day to best case scenario of .75 per day on p2 (that is when I had the most to lose). I'm curious to see how it will go when I really only want to lose maybe 10-12 lb this next round, to see how quickly, or how slowly, the weight loss will go. I think a lot of us are near our goal weight, curious how long it will take to lose those last 10-15 lbs. (watching mrsstrong and phoebe closely).

misscast, I'm with you-- love, love, love the reshaping of these protocols.

Have a great evening everyone! My knees feel so good tonite I need to go out dancin!

HmmmÖ Dubs you are sweet. I was recommending sugar-free erythritol-laden lemonade to those who are having elimination issues. It cleaned me out forthwith!

    Lol!

Days doing okay Forgot to weigh this morning before drinking half a bottle of water so no legit stats for today. Other than boring foods Ö which I needÖ hunger is only at meal times.

Nights still have trouble with shortness of breath and lots of GERD symptoms. Going to Dr today to see if they can recommend otc meds for GERD (gastro esophageal reflux) I was prescribed Nexium generic 40 mg but only took 2 days. Absolutely makes me too groggy and lacking energy. I am a type A and cannot deal with side effects. So quit taking them awhile back.

I have to be present at gallery exhibit this Saturday around noon so thinking to eat lunch a little early as i will not be home till 5
Question for anyone: Do you calculate losses before you start loading or after loading? I cannot remember. I think i count from the first shot day. Not much to calculate at this point but trying to refresh my mind. I think i always do it wrong but i usually do not load much extra (mistake) so it is probably a non issue.

Pearly you lost LOTS of weight since last time i was on the forum. I think First of April was my last post. I think whatever you lost went on my scale. Lol

Rose, I'll weigh in on your question, since I seem to be one of the first to post this Friday a.m. I generally just count from start of protocol, which means including load weight. Everytime I say I wont, that I'll factor weight after loading, then it just gets too confusing and weight lost is always qualified--so I have decided to just go with total weight lost. Though sometimes I will make the distinction. For this past year I started after loading weight was 207--and now weight is 159 this morning, so I have lost 48 lbs exactly. My last dose weight was 163.6--so I am currently 4.6 below last dose weight, and am on day 27 of 2nd P4 ( had 2 Planned Interruption in those rounds). When I load I do usually gain from 4-7 lbs, and my planned interruptions are generally 14-16 days and I reload after those, but generally don't regain as much during those reloading days. That's how I do things. Some people don't count loading weight gains, but I do. It just seems to be less confusing for me. Either way is ok, whatever works for you.

AFM: Good morning all--as I just shared with Rose, this morning scale weight was down, and to 159 exactly. Actually played with 158 something, so it may go down a touch more at some point, we'll see. Last night I played with idea of eating a drumstick that was in fridge, leftover from when the kids were here , but decided against it. Nothing celebratory going on, just thought I'd see what happened with addition of a "goodie"--if a gain happened. I think down tic is due to heat, being outside in heat, watering plants and such, who knows. Didn't expect this from P4, but I'll take it.
