    Woohoo its February!!

I am on Day 30 of VLCD (wow I didn't realise it was so long). I have been stalled for the past couple days...I hope I know why. I have introduced cottage cheese. The first day I ate it, i dropped 0.7 on the scale the next day but since then (3-4 days ago), I have been pretty much flat. So today am trying without cottage cheese and really hoping to see some progress.

Very much looking forward to phase 3 and the cocoa crack!

Woo-hoo for day 30 and P3 in sight! Stalls are the invention of the diet devil, I hate hate hate them! You can do a mini correction day, even during P2; and a hot bath often helps my body let go of the water that filled the fat cells to give me a whoosh.

Hello everyone! Today is end of week 1 in P3. So far, going great. Easily staying within the 2lb window. I did purchase HCG Chica's menu's for P3 and have made all the recipes so far. I actually can't eat it all so I have several meals sitting in the fridge. I am eating to hunger and stopping since I have so much extra fat still and don't need as much food as a thin person. My leptin gets activated easily. If I feel refreshed in 6 weeks, I will begin round 2 of HCG sometime in March.

LOVELY LOSERS 2022 - FIT & FOCUSED in February!!!

Greetings to all P2ers, P3ers, P4ers, newbies and oldtimers like me!

It has been almost a year since I started my last round, but I did not finish until May (took a PI in the middle then finished out a long round) so I still have more to go before I can say a year since I ENDED my last round.

I have been super stable this time around. I have been doing rounds since 2013 (actually did hhcg in 2011 but it was out of date so I lost only 17 pounds in 47 days. and STARVED the whole time, so I don't count that!) and always crept back up until I gave up and went 'off leash" for a few months and then had to do another round.

I never gained back more than half of my original 50 pound loss. Still, it was frustrating to 'yo-yo' like that. And the 'creep' of 10 to 12 pounds while feeling like I was on protocol was so hard!

This year, I have been BELOW my LIW by 2 or 3 pounds from the end of P3 (May) 2021. I was asked if I used a different brand of HCG, but I just looked it up and it was the same brand I have always ordered. Ovidac.

However, last week, I went up FIVE pounds in one week. Unlike the Great Cookie Disaster of Christmas Day, (3 pounds overnight. No more shortbread for Pearly Mae! It came back off in about four days.) I really was not eating off P3Forever protocol.

I just don't eat sugar, grains, starches. I get all my fiber and carbs from veggies and limited fruit. So, I really don't know why every day for a week, I was up from the day before. I did have some inflammation and aches, but I wasn't sick. Ugh.

I hit exactly the top of my 2 pound over LIW window on Monday. Skeered the bejeebers out of me. So, I am checking in.

I've been down each day since, but inching down, not losing a bunch overnight. (I've had that happen with inflammation: 3 even 4 pounds off overnight. Not often, but it has happened.) I am at POINT 2 over LIW now, which is a relief, but not where I want to be.

I still have been much more stable than in years past. One year, I did three rounds to lose the same 12 pounds over and over again. Please, no!

I do think this time around has been better because I have not been trying to 'Game it.' like I have in other years. That is, I don't push the limits just to see if I can get away with it and then bounce up and down a couple of pounds, then up and down from there, and so on.

I have cooked more (this way of eating requires cooking!) and found several more appropriate recipes so I have a broader selection of foods.

I just wanted to say hey to all my old friends and cheer on all the newbies! I'm still here and still working it! I will check in as this new challenge is freaking me out a bit and I need to be accountable.

    Onward!

Hey PearlieMae, glad to see you back! I'm doing similar, I was rock-stable for months, then in January I went up 2 lbs. Now I'm hoping to slowly work it off. I have also been getting more protein, and I'm happy it's working. I'm with you regarding whole foods and cooking for myself - I really prefer knowing what's "in there".

LOVELY LOSERS 2022 - FIT & FOCUSED in February!!!

    Reporting in.
Yesterday, Net Zero. No loss, but no gain.

Today, down .6. Whew. That puts me .4 under LIW.

Not out of the woods yet. While I’d love to get back to 2-3 lbs under, I just want to get the upward creep under control.

So will continue to keep to my best time tested most reliable foods and NO SNACKING!

    Onward!

    Hi everyone!

Good to see some familiar names, either in posts or likes/loves!

I am doing really well and the holidays only got me back to my evil set point of 160. I am not sure maintaining at 150 will ever be in the cards for me! LOL I am not sure I want to try either. Maybe as I get deeper into menopause, it will be easier to drop those ten pesky pounds because hormones will be interfering less. One can dream. 160 looks good on me so it's fine I guess. if I have to... We'll see. Maybe a short round before the summer.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

    Hi all!

mrsstrong - you and I are in the exact same position. 150 is my goal as well.

Pearlymae - keep on keeping on!

Day 28 for me and for the last 2 weeks I've been gaining and losing the same 3 lbs. I know the last 10 are tough but it's a mental challenge. I haven't been 148 since the '80's lol.

Also - hungry horrors this week. Grammy had suggested lowering my dose last year when I was having this problem so going to try it now (hHCG pellets.)

We got 13" of snow Friday so have done a LOT of shoveling. Inflammation, anyone? :-)

    Happy losing and stabilizing everyone!

LOVELY LOSERS 2022 - FIT & FOCUSED in February!!!

    Good to see you all!

Not sure Woman’s Track and Field is going on. Im up 1.2 today! That wipes out half if my week’s losses and puts me back up .8 above LiW.

I had a perfectly on protocol (for P4) day yesterday. So frustrating.

All I can do is keep trying. Good thing I still have a couple of larger size jeans in my closet. You would not think a couple-three lbs would make a difference in jeans fit— but when you carry most of your abby-normal fat around your middle as I do, yeppers!

It is a difference between being comfortable and not being able to bend over without your waist band cutting off your breathing!

    Ggrrrrrrrr. Onward!

    Hello all you Lovelies!
    I am starting P1 tomorrow.
Not new to HcG but would love the comradery of this group.
I've had a stressful past 6 months with moving across country, starting a new job, and buying a house. Have not been as healthful as I should.
The last time I stepped on a scale was about a 3 or 4 weeks ago. It was up but not that bad (only about 5 pounds). But now my clothing is starting to feel tight so I know it's time to get back on track. I figure a round of Hcg will do just that.
My last round was spring of '21 and I stabilized nicely and feel every time I do this diet it gets easier and easier to do that.
I have my vial of Hcg mixed and ready to go for tomorrow. Wish me well!

    Laura
