Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2022 - FIT & FOCUSED in February!!!

    Oh finally!

The third times a charm. OK. So I am on week 3 P3. So far so good. The creep usually comes on around week 5 or 6 so I am trying to be extra mindful of everything and not eating anything off my protein/veggie scope. I am 10 pounds still from my goal so thinking I'm doing a round in March.

Good luck everyone starting up I will join in a month or so!

Hello Lovelies!! I have been noticing while on P3 that whenever my main meal (usually lunch) has tomatoe sauce or Chili, my weight goes up 2 lbs for a day or so. I am well under LIW so not a big deal and I do not have these again until weight drops down. Does anyone have any idea why this is? I make my food from canned tomatoes or diced and try to get no salt when possible. Is this just something tomatoes do or might I have an inflammation issue with tomatoes? Thank you!

    I yo yo too

I've been doing rounds since 2015, lost 80 lbs. Every year, gain 20, 25 lbs (lots of auto immune diseases) my body just fluctuates I really don't overeat, I'm not perfect for sure and I hate weighing myself I dunno if I will ever get over that. I have been as far as 35 lbs up a couple times, I lose 10 on my own then 17 or so with the hcg diet. then I'm in my normal range again (not the "lowest") of my hcg weight, but that's really hard to maintain for me. SO I prob need to do 2 diets this year. I have been hiking, walking pretty much daily for this whole past year, if ANYTHING I've gained muscle. I'm here to lose 15 to 20 lbs, and then I'll come (injections). Feel better about myself and possibly again sometime this year to get to my lower weight. Maintaining, I knew would be my issue. I am still trying to get into "diet mode" because I stick to original (but will alllow shiritake noodles) as I don't get the breadsticks or milk b/c I'm dairy/gluten free and actually prob only get 450 cals day. It's quite boring eating (I wish I could do green beans, zucchini, broccoli), cocoa powder, but at least it's worth it to me as it's the ONLY way I really lose weight so here we go again!

It has been almost a year since I started my last round, but I did not finish until May (took a PI in the middle then finished out a long round) so I still have more to go before I can say a year since I ENDED my last round.

I have been super stable this time around. I have been doing rounds since 2013 (actually did hhcg in 2011 but it was out of date so I lost only 17 pounds in 47 days. and STARVED the whole time, so I don't count that!) and always crept back up until I gave up and went 'off leash" for a few months and then had to do another round.

I never gained back more than half of my original 50 pound loss. Still, it was frustrating to 'yo-yo' like that. And the 'creep' of 10 to 12 pounds while feeling like I was on protocol was so hard!

This year, I have been BELOW my LIW by 2 or 3 pounds from the end of P3 (May) 2021. I was asked if I used a different brand of HCG, but I just looked it up and it was the same brand I have always ordered. Ovidac.

However, last week, I went up FIVE pounds in one week. Unlike the Great Cookie Disaster of Christmas Day, (3 pounds overnight. No more shortbread for Pearly Mae! It came back off in about four days.) I really was not eating off P3Forever protocol.

I just don't eat sugar, grains, starches. I get all my fiber and carbs from veggies and limited fruit. So, I really don't know why every day for a week, I was up from the day before. I did have some inflammation and aches, but I wasn't sick. Ugh.

I hit exactly the top of my 2 pound over LIW window on Monday. Skeered the bejeebers out of me. So, I am checking in.

I've been down each day since, but inching down, not losing a bunch overnight. (I've had that happen with inflammation: 3 even 4 pounds off overnight. Not often, but it has happened.) I am at POINT 2 over LIW now, which is a relief, but not where I want to be.

I still have been much more stable than in years past. One year, I did three rounds to lose the same 12 pounds over and over again. Please, no!

I do think this time around has been better because I have not been trying to 'Game it.' like I have in other years. That is, I don't push the limits just to see if I can get away with it and then bounce up and down a couple of pounds, then up and down from there, and so on.

I have cooked more (this way of eating requires cooking!) and found several more appropriate recipes so I have a broader selection of foods.

I just wanted to say hey to all my old friends and cheer on all the newbies! I'm still here and still working it! I will check in as this new challenge is freaking me out a bit and I need to be accountable.

    Onward!

    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

I'm not used to mixing. Can anyone verify before I mix on Wednesday???

If I mix 5 ml bac water with the 5000 ius hcg powder, I get 125 ius is my usual which is between the 10/15 mark on needle. Can anyone verify?

If you refer me to links, I don't get the "math" of it, sorry b/c everyone has different amounts. I'm used to premixed from my doctor. I'm just going to do 30 days probably. I think next round I will do drops (both have worked for me, I prefer injections) and try for 35+ days. For now, 30, 17 lb goal. I don't really obsessively weigh, once a week is fine or once the whole time, (I have weighed daily before) all results come out the same for me. I will say drops make no hunger, but I don't know if the visceral fat is targeted b/c I don't "sink in" like I do with HCG, where it targets the fatty fat lol. So I'm excited to get 20 off for summer and make all my hikes that much lighter!!!

    @Cupcakesoaps:

Here's the math for your mixture:

    5,000iu divided by 5ml = 1000 IUs per ml

    150 divided by 1000 = .15 or 15
    125 divided by 1000 = .12 or 12

    So that verifies your calculation.

If you have the room to mix 10ml water with your 5000iu HCG, it will make dose adjustment more accurate should you have to do that during your round.

With that 1:2 ratio of mix, your 125iu dose would measure .25 or 25 on your syringe.

Okay, great info!!! I will look at this when Mixing on Wednesday. I wish I could mix 2x for it to be fresh, but I don't have time to order more supplies lol. And I've always done 1 premixed vial for 30 days anyway lol, one time 44 days. I lost my first 20 days then barely if any after that anyway. : )

I think I have 10,000 bac water, so that would make it easier to figure out, I'll mix Wed.
We are celebrating my hubby's bday with a casino buffet (it's been a few years) on Thursday so that will be a loading day. And I'm letting my friends/family know if they want to go out to eat for phad thai or mexican or something fattening it better be Thursday or Friday b/c I'm not going out to eat for two months! : )

I also noticed I have not done injections for over 2 years! I did drops 1x last year (-17 lbs). And I did drops the year before (-17) lbs. And drops prob 6 months before that (-17lbs lol). And then so injections have been 2.5 years now? crazy! Injections are easier to remember, and work just as well, also much harder to track down (and massively more expensive). But I'm going to do this round..see where I'm at and then plan a round for (April-May) or possibly (Sept-October) and so I can enjoy hiking. I will be "good" with 1 round, but I want to see where I can take this weight loss so I can build more muscle.

I just got back from physical therapy. I am going to be getting massages via my upper back 2x week and 2x week therapy on my calves/feet with cocoa butter. So I am trying to figure out how to do without canceling! It's a perfect time to do it b/c the diet will allow my painful foot to "rest" from exercise. But what do I do bring my own mineral oil and how do I explain to them, um I can't have cocoa butter or massage oils, it's gonna be awkward.

You are the customer. You don't have to explain anything. Just tell them mineral oil is your preference, and you've brought your own for them to use.

Not sure Woman’s Track and Field is going on. Im up 1.2 today! That wipes out half if my week’s losses and puts me back up .8 above LiW.

I had a perfectly on protocol (for P4) day yesterday. So frustrating.

All I can do is keep trying. Good thing I still have a couple of larger size jeans in my closet. You would not think a couple-three lbs would make a difference in jeans fit— but when you carry most of your abby-normal fat around your middle as I do, yeppers!

It is a difference between being comfortable and not being able to bend over without your waist band cutting off your breathing!

    Ggrrrrrrrr. Onward!

    Wow Pearlie,

It usually takes me about 10 lbs. before my clothes start to tighten up on me. But I have a flat tummy, and small hips, so my gains show up in the arms and boob
Our bodies are a funny thing sometimes. We can eat POP and still be up the next day, and then other times shocked by no gain when one was expected.

    Keep on keeping on!!!!

    Hey Kerry,
I had this problem in the past with cooked tomatoes as well, but it was part of my nightshade vegetables sensitivity. Interestingly enough, it has subsided since I got the covid vacinne last year, and I can eat cooked tomatoes and even bbq sauce now without a problem.
