Talking Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

Hello to all of the Lovely Losers out there from sdwis aka Coco. This is your thread for JULY 2022.

This joyful and jubilant group of HCG’ers have been starting new threads every month for years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join in.

Please note as you read through the posts:

We are all in different phases of HCG.
We all use different methods of HCG.
What is right for YOU, is right for YOU and we respect that. We don’t judge.
We discuss ALL aspects of our individual journeys to a healthier lifestyle.
And MOST importantly, while we can be a little naughty and nutty (always with humor!! ) we are NICE to each other!!

So, whether you are just starting, finishing, or are somewhere in between . . .

Thank you for the welcome, Kar and Coco! If no-one else is around, Ill just post to myself for accountability!

Im just trying to get back where I was. I could lose more but at my LIW I wear a 4/6 so Im happy enough there. I raised it 5 pounds from previous LIW’s because I never stayed there. I lasted almost a year, so if my LIFE is stable, my weight can be too. I just know that once I lose focus, 6-8 lbs turns into 10 and suddenly 25 —- noooooo! That’s too hard to take off again and requires an entire new wardrobe.

Ive worked really hard the past 8 years since I lost original 50 pounds and tho I’ve slid off the road NUMEROUS times, I’m not ready to give up yet.

    P2D1: gained 1 pound loading.

    Hi Pearly Mae,
    I’ll join you for accountability.

I’m 8 days in. I started dosing at 12.5 which worked in the past, but upped it to .14cc today (5000iu mixed w 5ml bac water.) I want to lose 13lb.

I too, held if off for approximately 2 years, but it has crept back on. I don’t get it? I eat clean 95% of the time. My experience has been, once it starts creeping up, it’s almost a lost cause. Not that I start eating badly, it’s just happens…one night I drink, bam 2lbs. And then I can’t get it off.

I was fairly stable for a year, and was very careful through Covid. But here I am, starting again bc I get uncomfortable.

Only doing a 23 day course, due to travel and prep to be able stabilize before a vacation.

Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

I’m with you, Momin! The difference this time is that the creep didn’t start for a long time. Sometimes it starts about four months after P3. So I think I was doing better at balancing what I ate.

However, I freely admit that I really went off track, or as I’ve put it before: off leash and running through the woods with my tongue hanging out!

It’s the great experiment. I have thyroid stuff, and a hiatal hernia that flares up with hypoglycemia. So a traditional diet where you starve yourself just doesn’t work for me. And because of the thyroid, fat just does not usually fall off with exercise. This is a severe and difficult diet, but it works for me.

There was a part of me that was hoping when I got on the scale this morning on day two I would be down 8 pounds. Lol. But at least I’m happy to report I’m down 2.2 on my second day.

    Onward!
    P

PS. I follow P2.0 , so I don’t usually post what I eat so the traditional P2ers don’t feel bad. I mix vegetables at will, have more vegetables on my list, and get 500 cal of protein a day, not counting vegetables. I also get a tablespoon of milk and a teaspoon of oil. After many many rounds of P2 the old way, P. 2.0 is heaven. I do cheat in that I have a little bit of fruit which is not on P. 2.0 so I might have a small apple or some strawberries on my salad.

    Me, again! Lol.

Sooooo happy to be down 1.6 today. My hcg has been frozen in syringes for a year so I wasn’t sure it would work. Seems like it is!!

    Onward!

Past 2 days have been a challenge. Up .8 yesterday, up .4 today. Ive been ALMOST letter perfect.

I was going to say I messed up on Monday, but I did not ACCIDENTALLY have a Margarita. 4th of July, parade, sun burn, street market, friends… My Plan was to take 2 sips and just carry it around. Ha! My Plan did not work out and I knew better. I knew what I was doing and do not regret it, but there it is.

I am pretty sure Im still losing and it will show up.

    Onward!

    Ha! Those pesky accidental margaritas...
I'm actually inclined to blame inflammation from the sunburn, but whatever. Of course you're still losing. You know the drill, my friend!

Hi everyone! I’m back again doing another round. I really let my weight go in the last year especially after my father passed last September but I am ready to make some changes and stabilize at a lower, healthier weight. This is the heaviest I’ve been at 260, gaining about 80 lbs in the last two years. I just can’t wait to feel better!

Today is VLCD 2 and I’m doing Intermountain hcg drops. I have the day 2 headache but I am losing lbs. and that is encouraging. Going to be watching my hunger level as in past rounds I’ve had to adjust the drops down from 10/3x a day to like 8-9/3x.

I am glad to be back. You all motivate me so much!

Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

Good morning, everyone. Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

    Check in time!

    Starting: 260.4
    Post load: 262.4
    VLCD3: 256

Goal: 180 (will do two rounds)

Feeling much better today and have more energy. Have enough p2 food to last into next week. Getting plenty of water and sleep. Not feeling hungry so i think dosage is alright for now with hhcg drops 10/3x.

I’m going to my niece’s birthday party Saturday and taking my kids with me. I’ve never really liked birthday cake and ice cream but I’m going to bring a sliced apple as a snack just in case I get hungry.

I’m feeling much more motivated and in control of my life and getting little tasks done over the last few days that I’ve put off for a while. Feels good. I’ve really missed the way hcg not only helps me feel/look healthier but helps me feel like life is a bit more manageable.

Have a good day everyone! Onward (as Pearly says)! Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

    P2 day 14: 235.7

Hello I’m on day 14 of P2 and have lost 16.9 lbs so far. It probably would have been more but I had a cheat day on Monday and I’m almost down to my weight before then. I have about 110 lbs overall to lose so I have a few rounds ahead of me. I did the hcg diet about 11 years ago on the drops and lost 40 lbs before so I know I can do it again. I pretty much ate my feelings out and that’s how I gained the weight back and then some so I’m working on my relationship with food and myself so I can keep it off this time. I tried the drops again a few years ago and was starving. After further research I decided to do the injections and here I am! I’ve tried so many diets in the past and this one is the one that worked best for me. It’s easy when it comes to having no hunger pains but socially it’s difficult and also hard having the same food every day (I’m a pescatarian.) I know it’ll be worth it though I just have to stick it out. I’m about 36 lbs from being under 200 and I’m looking forward to that day as a big milestone!

@natalie I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I lost my mom last year and gained about 50 lbs since then plus the additional weight I was already carrying. I also got to my heaviest as well. It’s great that you decided to do better for yourself though. You got this!!
