Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

    @iamjewellh

Thank you. I’m sorry to hear about your mom. No one is ever prepared to lose a parent. Such a difficult thing to go through. My heart goes out to you.

I, too, lost about 45-50 lbs 11 years ago with hhcg and maintained for a few years but gained, then lost, gained, lost, etc. So done with all the yo-yoing!

Glad we are both checking in on here! We totally got this!

    Week 1 net: 2 lbs
    Thursday P2D7 -0.4
    Wednesday P2D6 +0.4
    Tuesday P2D5 + 0.8
    Monday P2D4 forgot to weigh
    Sunday P2D3-1.6
    Saturday P2D2-2.2
    Friday P2D1 +1 loading.

Thanks, Kar. Kind of you but I was probably not THAT sunburned. Lol

So, maybe my hcg is a gonner. 2 pounds in week 1 is pitiful. Im going to try to stick it out til day 10 and then we will see.

Twise, thanks for the shout out!

Natalie & Imj, I understand gaining when stress and misery strike. I think of HCG as a way to take back control of my life. I had nothing happening like you but I did have Illness, Injury and even some Insult. I turned to snackity snack snacks. So even if my hcg is out if date, at least I am eating better!

    Onward!

Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

Hmmm… I said I’d give it til Monday but I was ready to quit last night. Starving!!!

Cooked a steak for dinner and devoured it, with p2 compliant veggies and then cottage cheese, then strawberries. I was ravenous then stuffed, neither condition a happy one.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure my frozen for a year hcg is just water. The vial had
an expiration date of April 2022, so Im even past that.

Now, do I bag it til I can get a fresh batch? Probably. Meanwhile I’m going to try to still eat appropriately.

I took a dose today just in case. I was down today, finally, but I usually lose 6 pounds the first 10 days and I’m at Day 8, down 2.8. That’s practically just fluctuation!

    Onward

Hey everyone happy Friday! I’m finally below my cheating day from Monday! I didn’t think it would take 4 days to get back on track but boy I’m not wanting to do that again if I had a choice. Granted I had a personal pizza, breadsticks, chipotle, and Cinnabon so that’s on me for not doing better but it is what it is! I gained over 6 lbs from it all.

After reading through some threads I decided it would be best for me to try reducing my dosage. The prescription I have says for me to take 225 IU and I’ve been taking 200 IU but that was still too much for me. It wasn’t completely unmanageable but my stomach was growling a bit in between meals. I reduced to 175 IU and it’s SO much better. I’m so close to getting to that first 20 lbs! The last diet I went on (non hcg) I lost about 10 lbs in a month’s time and I’ve lost almost double that so far on P2 and it hasn’t been a month yet. I’m excited to keep trucking forward as I slim down.

Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

Happy Saturday all! It’s VLCD5 and my weigh in is the same as yesterday at 253.4, yet I am still down 7 lbs so far (not including two lbs gained during loading).

Went a bit rogue and had some watermelon last night instead of an apple and since I’m not down today, it probably was the watermelon. Boohoo! Sticking to apples as normal so I can optimize my losses.

I got some yummy tea at the store yesterday including Teavana’s Earl Grey Crème which is what is used in a London Fog bevvy that you’d get at a coffee shop. It’s soooo good and caffeinated. Perfect for those mornings I don’t want to make coffee or need an afternoon pick-me-up.

Heading to my niece’s bday party today with my son. Will take some sparkling water and an apple just so i have options. I normally lay very low when on hcg to avoid temptation but this is an important event and definitely want to be there.

Happy losing all! Hang in there! I’m glad we have this forum and each other for accountability and encouragement. We got this!

Hi Natalie,I really admire your positive attitude. I know it will help you stay strong through your round. I agree, so its important to find a way to be at family events.

Wooh I made it to 20 lbs lost! 18% of my goal already. I’m sure it’s a mind thing but I think my next small milestone is hitting 220 because getting under 200 will seem so much closer after that. It feels like so long since I’ve been in the 100 club Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!. After this whole journey I’m thinking about getting a tattoo for this whole experience. Maybe not right away but a year into maintenance so I know I hadn’t gained it back lol. Hope everyone has a great day!

I did not expect this! I’m down 1.6 today. I had to use a calculator to figure it out.

That puts me .4 over my previous LIW. Counting load gain, which I forgot I normally do, I’m down 5.6 on day 9! Which puts me a whole lot closer to my average of 6 lbs lost by Day 10.

S0…. Maybe my frozen hcg is…ALIVE! Lol.

Day by day, Ill see how it goes. I can see a difference in that muffin top / spare tire that knit shirts were outlining like sausage casing. All I ask is that my clothes fall from my bust to my hips without stopping to mess around on the way!

I’m cooking and eating veggies again. All good.

Keep at it, all. When I had 50 pounds to lose, I was overwhelmed, but 1 by 1, and sometimes 2! Hcg got rid of them.

    Onward.

Yay, PearlyMae! I'm glad to read your frozen hcg is alive!

AFM, I'm still above LIW but not by enough to motivate me onto the diet. I have a new bottle of hhcg nasal spray in the fridge. My last round was with tablets and I ended it early because my head wasn't into it and my losses were . . . glacially slow. I still have most of that bottle so can switch to it if I don't like the spray

-I almost didn’t weigh today, as I had a small fall and was afraid I’d be way way up from inflammation!

I painted my body with Biofreeze last night, and took a muscle relaxer before I went to bed. I considered a hot bath with Epson salts, but it just seemed too big of production and I was so tired and hurting! I couldn’t wrap my head around it

But I’m OK today! I feel a little stiff areas but nothing that slows me down, and biofreeze is my friend.

So I’m down 1.0! That puts me below my LIW, and ever so slightly into the next deck. I made my 6 pound loss by 10 days. At the beginning of the week I did not think I had any chance! HCG will surprise you!

I already ordered a new batch couple days ago, but it will take two or three weeks to get here. So I’m not sure what I’ll do with it.

You’re not supposed to freeze the vile, but if you mix it you can freeze the syringes. Lol I don’t have any syringes so I better figure out how to order those too!

I will be on my best behavior today, because like horseback riding, stiffness and soreness can show up the second day after from a fall.

    Onward!

Ouch! Do take that hot bath if you have time - in addition to soothing soreness I find it helps me get a great whoosh!
