    P2 Day 18
    Post Loading: 252.6
    Current Weight: 232.1
    Total Loss: 20.5

I haven’t lost any weight the past couple days. I think it could be one of a few things. I haven’t been drinking enough water. I haven’t gotten too much sleep. I just started my period (I haven’t had one in 4 months.) I’ll keep trucking forward and work on the 2 things that I can control.

Hi, all. I'm back for another round. Day 16 P2. Not sure exactly how much I've lost since I didn't weight until day 4 (meaning day 2 of p2). I always gain between 5 and 10 lbs during loading and just couldn't bear to look at that number, lol. So, I've lost 10ish since day 4. Which means I'm doing pretty dang well, all things considered.

I have a vacay scheduled for Aug. 11-22 and am torn between making sure to end this round in time to complete P3 before then (starting P3 7/22 by my calculations), or pushing it a bit further to lose more before heading to the beach. I can generally do OK with food, but alcohol is the issue. I wouldn't mind not drinking at all, but I'm afraid I'll give in to peer pressure. So, just curious: what would you do? Make sure to complete p3 before going and just plan for another round as needed, or push p3 into the vacay? I do have a travel scale, after learning that not weighing daily is how I regain (lost 40 lbs in two long rounds in 2020-21 and am up 20). Not sure I actually need to lose another 20 since that lowest weight was really impossible for me to maintain. But another 10 would be ideal and I'd really like to get off this yo-yo roller coaster--and fit into my wardrobe properly again!

Anyway, best of luck to all. This is my first time doing HCG in the summer and it is not for the faint of heart. . . .

Rats. Up the pound I was down yesterday. I AM sort of stiff all over due to that fall. Nothing seriously hurts, thank goodness, but just stiffness and moving kind of slow.

I drank turmeric but guess that was not enough. You are right, Gig, I should’a taken that bath. Maybe tonight.

    VLD: you go, girl!

Jewel, hang in, your period is likely causing water retention, as you probably know. You will get a nice woosh when it clears!

Devine, I remember you! Get as far as you can and then, if you need to, take a Planned Interruption for your vacation. Don’t go crazy, but enjoy. Then come back strong.

    Onward!

Woops, Nat! You posted while I was writing. Sorry about the slip up. Just get back on the horse/wagon/train (choose your own metaphor)
    And keep going! Onward!

@PearlyMae I hope you recover quickly!

I'll have completed a long round by the time vacay comes around, so a PI doesn't fit. It's either P3 or P4 depending on when I choose to end the round. The question is do I risk a successful P3 in favor of bigger losses now but less likelihood of successfully maintaining?

Stayed POP today! And avoided temptation at the movies. Brought a la criox and cucumbers and had a great time. Not going to weigh in till the weekend. I think it’s better for me mentally when i don’t weigh each day. Plan is to stay on protocol day by day. Goodnight all! Hang in there!

Great job, Natalie!! These things happen, but to get right back on the wagon for a POP day is the best you can do.

I struggle with the scale, too, especially because my weight fluctuates so wildly with my hormonal shifts. But what I've learned (and this is just me--not telling anyone what to do!) is no good comes of avoiding the scale--especially after P2 (though I've been perfectly happy doing total rounds with just a start weight and an end weight). I'm convinced not weighing during P3 and P4 is a major contributing factor to why I've regained. What I'm also learning this round is my fears about the scale tend to be way off base. When I've thought I've gained I haven't, and I'm so relieved to know what the number actually is so I can just move on and deal with it.

Anyway, I bought a travel scale so I can stay committed to this daily weighing practice when I travel, which is somewhat frequently. The travel scale is about .6-.8 off from my regular scale, and who knows how much it fluctuates given different surfaces on which I put it, but it's just the act of stepping on the scale and facing that number every day that feels like a shift for me.

It's dumb, and I don't want to be obsessed with a number. I can feel and see, for example that I weigh nearly the same as I did a year ago but, since I quit heavy weight lifting, which I was really into then, I'm flabbier. I use a body composition scale, so I can see those numbers plain as day (again, though not entirely sure how accurate they are), but having some measure of accountability in black and white is crucial. Facing the music every day--or nearly every day--is a good thing for me. Because going by how my clothes fit, just as Dr. S says in P and I, doesn't really work with HCG.

Sorry for the ramble. Just me thinking out loud--but I welcome your thoughts as well, especially what works for you.

I'm into the 140s today--a new decade! my most reasonable goal decade! (actually, no. my most reasonable goal is 155, my ww goal, but I'm not my happiest or healthiest there)--and it's making me want to stick with this round for another 10 pounds, even if that pushes me into p3 while on vacay. i might just tell my friends I've quit drinking. They won't like it, but too bad. I need to take care of myself. And since we're going to be at the ocean, dinners out are easy with salad, veg, seafood; and we grocery shop for our own picnic lunches, so that'll be easy to stick to P3 foods. I think I can do this. Or, miracle upon miracles, maybe I'll be satisfied with the results from another 7-10 days POP and be solidly in P4 while on vacay. However, I'm starting to think being more on P3 while on vacay would be a good thing anyway. I hate coming home with a gain. But I'll have that scale to help steer me in the right direction if it starts to creep. . . .

This is what goes on in my mind constantly. Sorry to subject you to it this morning! I guess the upshot is I'll see where I land sometime next week and then decide what to do. Though depending on when my period decides to arrive, that might mess with the scale if not the round. Le sigh.

Happy Tuesday and cheers to a POP day!

Welk, Women’s Track and Field ! Im up 0.4 today! WHOT?

Sigh. I remember now why I used to weigh every 3 days on P2. I usually have a net loss in that length of time, and don’t subject myself to the uppies and downies of fluctuations.

Divine, I weigh every day on P3&4. It’s a good habit. The only time I don’t is when I know I wont like it!

Maybeeeee Ill Wait til Friday to weigh again. ? Not sure I can. The suspense might kill me!

    Onward!

I’ve been staying around the same weight since Sunday. It’s really annoying because I’ve been used to losing a little at least every day. I get that it’s probably because it’s my time of month but still frustrating. I forgot that in the original protocol Simeon says to not take injections on the days of your cycle so I’m going to give that a try today.

Of course I weighed today. Lol. Down the 0.4 I was up yesterday. Yay?

I am trying to remember that part of doing this round is to get off the Snack Train and get back to healthy eating. Breaking bad habits.

    Onward!
