Don’t remember stuck in a stall for 3 days. I know it is a second week but for me it is usually third week. I will keep on but maybe should avoid scale till next week so I don’t get in my head too much.

Well I’m still recovering from my mini cheat day last Saturday even though I didn’t take my injection that day. Summer is such a sucky time to go on a diet but it is what it is. Just gotta keep pushing forward.

I feel so much better when I eat clean. I've got hormones out of whack so hopefully these loses will start showing on how I feel in the next couple of weeks. Which are super important!

Let's keep going!! We can do this!!Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

Yesterday was not a POP day and I feel terrible about it. This lengthy stall is doing a number on my head, so I just stayed off the scale today.

It's day 28 of my cycle, so TOM should be arriving at some point, but I'm definitely perimenopausal, and it's all so unpredictable. I'm remembering previous rounds I just stayed off the scale the week or so before my period, so maybe this kind of stall isn't unusual for me. I just don't know.

However, I did try on my white jeans and white jean shorts and they're both fitting a bit better, so I'll carry on.

It's true this whole dieting during summer is not easy. But we might as well do our best to stick with it, right? I guess that's another good thing about HCG: you really can't just quit or cheat or fudge it without major consequences. At least that's the way I look at it. It's a real commitment.

    Anyway, onward!

Evenin, ladies. My wife and I are back on another round. My wife refers to it as a reset, which I find appropriate. Weight did creep back up but really nothing that disappointing. But more than everything you can see bad habits forming and intensifying. So time for a break from it all. Time to work on me. Again. Then again self betterment should be a never ending endeavor.

We started July 4th weekend for loading. July was first day of vlcd and last dose day will be next Monday. I am already at a very good place in weight and my measurements are exactly where I ended up last round and I am still 5 lbs above the previous low. Weight loss has been fairly predictable based on previous rounds.

I reread Weight Loss Apocalypse the first week on vlcd and it really set my mind right. My mindset was more “listen to your body” instead of “look for signs of actual physical hunger”. I guess it all boils down to “whether you are actually hungry or just want to eat”. Pretty important distinction and at the crux of why we found ourselves here. But I have not been hungry. When I might want to snack I check myself for physical hunger and absent of that, desire to eat fades quickly. It has been an easy ride.

I have two good friends in my tennis circle who are finally giving the protocol a shot in September. I cannot wait to see how they attack it and have given them plenty tools and will be there for support when they need it. And am ready to answer a million questions once they are in it.

My wife is doing great. Cosmetic surgery last month. Jumped on the protocol to set a good tone moving forward. She is looking awesome. We are living our best life.

Tennis has been epic this year. I can fill an entire thread on this year on court. It has been one for the books and I am not done with some huge championship tournaments yet to be played.

Not doing a thread in the mens section. Pretty sure anybody who would read it is here and this post pretty much sums things up for where I am at.

Hope y’all are well. It is great to see some familiar friends and names. Sounds like you are all on good paths. Happy to see y’all still on it.

    Keep seeking.

@Wilson. Happy you snd your wife are doing well. I was unable to start my second round till week after 4th of July so have a ways to go. Thought I could fo short round but Gained back some of what i lost in first round (fortunately not all) so I need a longer round. Hopefully will reach goal of 140 by early August. Had a Three day stall this week so always concerns me. But it always works. My losses are always averaging about .4 per day

Morning, Rose. Don't sweat the stalls. They happen and there are no true patterns to when, where and why. Other than they are common in the 2nd and 3rd week. I keep all of my stats from all rounds on 1 spreadsheet and go back and compare past rounds to current. 2nd and 3rd weeks, the loss on the scales can be slow and frustrating. But after a couple days of stalls, boom, the weight comes off. It always happens. Just hang in and stay the course (which I know you will do).

Hey, WB! Great to hear from you and glad things are going so well for you and your wife. You're so smart to have kept those stats as a reference point and I'm glad you reminded me of Weight Loss Apocalypse. What you say is so true for me: it's about discerning the difference between true hunger and desire to eat. HCG helps with that for sure. Are you still doing 2.0?

Hang in there, Rose. I'm at the same weight this morning that I weighed last Sunday with no drops below that in between. I do think it's hormonal and I should get a decent drop as soon as TOM arrives, but it's still a bummer. However, what am I going to do? No choice really but to keep going. And stay OP. Yesterday was POP. Back on it.

Yep, 2.0 all the way for me. I will never go back to OP. Even though WLA is a staunch supporter of OP, I still go my preferred route. But I do agree that OP is the best way to go, but 2.0 is much more realistic for me. But in terms of portions, I am somewhere in between the two because I doubt I ever reach my daily allotment of protein calories. I just like the extra choices and the ability to mix vegetables.

As an aside, my wife and I are undergoing a huge remodel in our house so we are living in a borrowed house right now (long story). A bit of upheaval but everything going well. I was able to bring one of my grills with me so meal prep hasn't missed a beat. Hope to be back in our house in 2 weeks.

Basically a 5 day stall so far. I thought it was my longest to date but looked back on stats and had same experience on first round in March. Jumps around but not under 149.4. Must be an old set point. Who knows. Reduced my dose to 125. So far no abnormal hunger so just unnecessary mental anguish looking at same weight. Why did I think this would be easy peasy ? Lol
