    Lovely Losers 2022 - Hot & Jazzy in JULY!!

    Me, too, Rose. I think I’m not going to weigh til Friday… never make it! I guess it’s a good habit.

    Im posting before I go back up! I think I am down all or most of the lately ups. At 2.6 under my previous LiW, (.6 under Last Dose this round) NO COMPLAINTS. Except when I pop back up, then I’ll probably grumble.

    I am pretty sure my Ups have been not enough protein per day. I have my volume up from P2 but my calories aren’t there yet. Yesterday I made sure I had protein at each meal and sure ‘nuff, boom.

    Vlcd 17 147.8 down .2 . cataract surgery went well today Seeing and typing with one right eye Have to take steroid anribioric drugs for 4 weeks…. Contains prednisone Hope this doesnt create weight gain Maybe small eye doses will not mess up my system

    Hey all! Decided to stop hcg about 3 weeks in. I couldn’t get my head in the game. Instead of feeling defeated, i am going to give it another go in a week or so.

    Hcg has worked for me before and I’ve been quite disciplined throughout and maintained.

    Any words of advice to get into the right mindset and prepare for an hcg round?

    Natalie. I don’t have any experience or advice to give but maybe eat P3 before you try again and consider it a planned interruption snd do another 20 days ??

    Today is vlcd Day 18. Down 10.8 weight 145.8. So dropped 2.6 today so hope I don’t go back up tomorrow after such a big loss. I’ve been in a slow week or two so don’t mind staying sane for vpl of days before I drop but hate going back up. Well. Still have cloudy vision from cataract surgery and follow up Dr visit from yesterdays surgery. If typing is bad it is because I am using one eye. Have a blessed day

    @rose- so glad to hear that your surgery went well and Im loving your losses!
    @pearlymae- Im loving your losses too!!
    @Natalie- I wish I had more wisdom to share. Past rounds where I wasnt fully in it, I ended being roque and my losses were poor as a result. I think for this, you have to totally be in a place of Im a strong woman and I CAN DO THIS, its only 27, 35, 40 days.
    I've read your posts. I KNOW you can do this!

    AFM, Down another .6 this morning for a total of 8lbs in 7 days. I'll TAKE IT!!! To be honest though, from late May to July 1st I had rapid gained 10 pounds so I'm sure my body hadn't really recognized the set point too much. What's funny is I thought, oh this is easy weight to come off, its probably just water weight, easy right? Like vacation weight. NOPE. NOTHING was working my body was holding at 161 for dear life, not even Intermittent fasting or inadvertently starving myself due to no hunger was making that rapid weight gain come off- dont tell me HCG doesnt work.. IT WORKS.

    to date: 14 pounds/15 inches lost
    LIW: 124.4- Stabilized at 126.4

    Total weight loss: 16.4 lbs

    R1 injections March 2012:
    Total weight loss: 15.8 lbs
    Total inches: 24.25
    LIW: 141.6 Stabilized 140.6 (4 month mark) (141-144 @ 8 month mark)

    Sorry, been MIA for several days but reading all y’all.

    Rose, you say your losses are small and slow! Heavens,girl! Down over 10 over 18 days is above average. I know, that 2+ loss caught you up
    some, but still I’d call call your losses STEADY and CONSISTENT. Good work!

    Nat, if you are still around, be kind to yourself. This diet takes mindfulness that is hard to achieve when your world is distracting you eleven different ways. Come back when you are ready to TAKE CONTROL BACK.

    I find on HCG, I’m decluttering and cleaning house, quitting lousy jobs, re-doing my budget… etc! and HCG does not do that. Getting on top on one thing gives me permission to get on top of other things!

    But. YOU have to be ready to take that first step. Once you do, you will start to realize what else is bugging you- which made you eat stuff. It’s not a vicious circle. Its a VICTORIOUS one

    P3D6, 7 and 8 all the Exact Same Weight. I worried my scale was stuck. Today down a glorious 0.6. WHOT? Im getting that protein in! This just gives me wiggle room— not for cookies, but for no-reason-what-so-ever gains.

    You know what, Rosie, if you were down you were DOWN!

    Back up is water one way or another. It’s impossible to gain FAT in a day or two on 500 calories! If someone cheats, it’s still way less than a “normal” meal, let alone a day.

    So, you have lost, and now just need to drain! Lol

    Here’s an example of how tricky diet food is: I wanted some white chocolate chips to add to a large jar of appropriate nuts to make trail mix. Only a small handful so when I eat it, I might get one chip per mouthful.

    Oh goody, there are no- sugar baking chips! On the front of the package it says sweetened with Stevia. Great!

    Except when I checked the label on the back, Erythritol was the first ingredient and Stevia was way at the bottom. AND they still had 9 g of carbs per serving. AND they were A LOT LOT LOT more expensive than regular white baking chips. Which had 11 g of carbs! So a great deal more money, a sweetener that can give you a real no-fun time, for a difference of 2g? Ill just put a slightly smaller small handful in my trail mix, so I may or may not get ONE per bite.

    Ya gotta read labels, is my point!

    I agree with reading labels. My diet is pretty much same every day. Chicken breast cabbage asparagus shrimp apple and strawberries. Sometimes grape tomatoes instead of one of the other veggies. Tastes good and satisfying. Just being patient to trust the process. Today is day 22 vlcd weight 146.6. 6.6 lbs left for next two weeks. That would be 36 doses counting loading. I skipped two days in last 3 weeks. I’m finding it fairly easy but would like to get below last years set point. Next set point is 144. Been two years since 140 or less
