Thread: Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

thanks, I will have to call about if they have baby oil instead for massages and explaining why will be weird lol.

I am getting sent unmixed HCG (I will have to research how to mix it), almost wish I went with drops lol. It's getting harder and harder to do the diet over the years lol. I got to buy so much hundreds of dollars in foods, prep, no oils/lotions, not even a sugar free cocoa, sometimes just hard to get in the swing of it but I'll do it.

How long does UNMIXED HCG last? I ordered from the pharmacy in Florida. I just dunno if I want to do in February, March or save for Fall and just keep doing my intermittent fasting and working out. Hmmm probably should just knock out a round and have the rest of my year free.
    Started JULY 2015
    Ended 4 rounds November 2016
    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

Cupcake, here is something to consider regarding the massages. The protocol discourages them, not primarily because of the oil, but because deep tissue massage somehow interferes with the work of the HCG on the fat deposits. You can read what the protocol says about it here: https://hcgdietinfo.com/dr-simeons-m...-treatment-64/

That being said, a gentle massage should have no detrimental effect. You could bring your own mineral oil for the massage. I've brought my own prefered oil to be used in professional massages. I was never questioned about why.

Maybe find a mineral oil with a scent you like? Here's just one option:

I made my own. Here is the bulk mixture I have made: 1/2 cup Redmonds salt, 1 3/4 t potassium Chloride, and 1/2 t Mg glycinate or matate. Put in a container and use as you'd like.
I feel like Cream of Tarter can replace the potassium (would have to google). Sometimes , I just add Redmonds salt to my drinks. LMNT makes an unflavored electrolyte as well as the choc. I also like the lemon lime.

I get the headache if I get dehydrated and low electrolytes. Also, needed adrenal support at the end of my last round. Next round, I realize before TOM week, I may need to up my calories a bit as I got really drained not eating enough. Week of TOM, appetite plummets and I need less food. I have to learn to listen and trust my body. I went 40 injections and was quite depleted at the end physically. That being said, stabilization has been a dream so far. Tomorrow starts week 2 of P3.

On your next round, you might want to increase your protein, such as low-fat fish and chicken breast. I find that really helps me keep my energy up.

I agree with you regarding electrolytes: during the diet, which is mildly ketogenic, the kidneys flush out more salt, and our blood volume goes down. That's what causes the headaches and "keto flu". Since we are also eating less food volumes, our salt intakes are lower during the diet; so it's a good idea to take electrolytes or to drink a cup of bouillon or bone broth daily.
