Thread: Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

  1. #13
Morning update, I rebounded 0.8 lbs this morning. I did an experiment with Walden Farm’s ranch yesterday, I discovered today that I can’t get away with it.

I find myself struggling with dry salad lately. Do I need to just tough it out?

I did roast red radishes for lunch today with Himalayan salt, garlic granules, and onion powder. It was quite good and a nice side dish to my chicken breast.

ugh, gains during P2 are the worst.

For me, I couldn't handle salads in P2. So instead, I would have grape tomatoes or cut up cucumber and dress it with wine vinegar with mineral salt, freshly cracked pepper, sweetener and fresh chopped herbs (usually cilantro) I found that a lot more enjoyable than trying to dress lettuces.

The radishes sound good. You might try that with fennel as well. The fennel sweetens up with roasting and is quite yummy.

The cucumber sounds good. I make a similar one in a jar… Cucumbers, red onion, red wine vinegar, Splenda, pepper, and Italian seasonings. I actually had that Monday and posted a nice loss yesterday. I need to get more cucumbers.

    Edited to add…

The local SaveMart has whole crab on sale, so my husband just picked us up some for dinner. I had him grab me a couple cucumbers while there. Fingers crossed for a better weigh in tomorrow.

Hi everyone!! I am back for my second round…I was really nervous about P3 after my first round but honestly, it was a joy. I ate well, I found my taste buds had fundamentally changes and my weight was pretty stable. I couldn’t believe it! (Maybe because 1. I was at an old set point and 2. I still have a lot of weight to lose).

On Day 3 of low calorie diet. This phase is not my favourite but seeing the scale move is very nice. Just need to survive the next 6 weeks…

You got this Emmas… the thread has been pretty quiet lately. I’m actually surprised considering that it’s now January. I too am of day 3 following a planned interruption that began on Christmas Eve.

Hi all. Just a quick accountability check in. Stayed on protocol today except for a couple of butterscotch candies. Going to do better tomorrow. Once i allow for a cheat even small, i keep going lol

    VLCD 3: 228.8 (-5.2)
    Total loss: 4 lbs

Nice big whoosh last night! Can’t wait to get a lot of sleep and get on the scale in the A.M.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

I switched to using hhcg tablets, and haven't had trouble getting them. Injections became waaaaaay too expensive for me, and the hhcg works just as well.

I buy Maple Grove Farms Sugar Free Raspberry Vinaigrette, they also have fat free. It's difficult to find the sugar free in stores, so I buy it online in 6-packs.

    Natalie, nice loss!

G2G, I may look into that. I marinated my cucumbers yesterday as described in post above and the radishes were very satisfying roasted.

Today, I posted a loss of 2 lbs. Now down 3 lbs below LIW for PI. I have 8 shots left after today. Total loss for round is 19.8 lbs. I’m getting close!

    Savannah, nice loss!

I'm going to have to try a PI in my next round. I typically only lose 10 or so lbs per round, perhaps a PI would help. Hmmmmm . . .

Hi everyone. I’m a little late to the party. Started on December 30th and have released 6lbs and am on VLCD 6. Been eating about 700 calories/day until today so I get to tighten the lines...

Super excited to be here and particularly at the beginning of a brand new year. I did a round last year and am at this point 10 lbs away from my goal weight. Using Intermountain pellets as that’s what I could find.

Savannah - Have you tried plain lemon juice with salt on salads. I find it so delicious! I use Redmond’s salt. Even after my last round, I found I still preferred salad that way rather than with oil/lemon or vinegar

Has anyone ever had a temporary gain from collagen? I had the Vital Proteins brand, and I'm up 3 pounds today.
