I know any loss is progress but given it's week one, i was hoping for some larger Whooshes! Oh well, it's still the lowest I've weighed in 4 years so must take my wins. Onwards!
    hang in there!

You still have a few days before the weigh in on day 8 for your first week losses total. I always felt like my first week was slow, but then realized I was on track on that day 8 weigh in for a loss of between 8-10 pounds. Other than the first round where I eeked out a couple extra pounds, all my rounds produced about the same losses: about .5 pound a day when all averaged out at the end.

good morning! About to start p1 next week. In the past, I did 1.25 IM inj, but will do Sub inj this time. Is the dose 150? If I do a long (40 inj) round, do I skip one inj/ week/? (I don't know if I can mentally go 40 injections!) I can't find my book with all this info in it so I purchased Colin W. book. It really has minimal info in there.

    Hi KAY D,
Its best to start at whatever your ending dose was on your previous round.

Yes, skip one dose day per week during a 40 dose round. If you know you won't go longer than 30 dose days, you do not need to skip, but I always did anyway---just to keep my options open.

Some find that they can manage a 40 dose round mentally if they take an interruption anytime after the 23rd dose. You can do the interruption for between 4-13 days before starting back in P2 for the rest of your round. However, you need to transition just like you would for P3, so the interruption ends up being a couple days longer.

Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

Hey all. Checking in. Iíve been battling a headache all day and craving sugar bad. Iím going to see if I can find that p2 mug cake recipe on here. Yíall ever try that? There is an egg in the recipe so i think that counts as one protein. Going to investigate.

    VLCD6: -0.8
    Total net loss: 6.2 lbs

Usually I have bigger losses the first week. I wonder if itís because TOM will be here soon. Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!! Still onward I go!

Good luck everyone! And thank you for your virtual hugs and condolences about my father passing a few months ago. Yesterday was the 4 month mark and it still feels like it was yesterday. I miss him so much and it just plain sucks.
I know heíd be proud Iím working hard in my life to get healthy and be sober (83 days). Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

Natalie, I lost my dad unexpectedly 3/2018 to a heart attack. He was on a walk with my mom and sister. It is still painful, but with time the pain does get more manageable. On the plus side, you are rocking HCG.

    Emmas, strong and steady.

I lost 0.6 today. These last few lbs are a bit slower to get off, but still trending down.

Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

Hey all! Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday. Iíve done some chores around the house but otherwise taking it easy.

Savannah, Iím sorry about your loss. One is never really prepared to lose a parent at least thatís what I think. I carry on and do things my dad would be proud of like being a good mom, working hard, laughing and having fun, being healthy/sober, etc. He is missed so much. Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!! Iím relieved to know it will get a bit easier with time. And Iím doing some grief counseling as well.

I made P2 mug cake but really guys, i made it yesterday and it wasnít as good as I hoped Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!! I squeed though over having a little chocolate delight in the mid afternoon. Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

    Here is what I did:

    2 egg whites

(P2 protocol says you can sub one protein with three egg whites and one whole egg but i didnít want to forfeit my dinner protein so I just did 2 egg whites)

    2 TBS cocoa power
    1/2 t. Vanilla extract
2 stevia packets (or you can do like 6-7 drops)

Mix well and microwave for 30 seconds.

Consistency is eggy and it was okay but stevia was weird with cocoa in this form. Maybe itís because my taste is still off from having covid a year ago.

Give it a try if you dare! Lol
It was nice to have a little chocolate flavor and I was still down this morning.

    Here are my stats today:

    VLCD 7: -1.8 lbs
Total net loss: 8 lbs (after losing the 5.4 lbs from loading)

Iím thrilled for my losses and hope to keep it up. I have about 45 lbs to get to goal so that will be in two rounds.

Been sticking to only apples for fruit, chicken and tilapia for protein and cucumber, tomato, fennel, onion, romaine, celery for veggies. I have a bunch of Trader Joe speciality spices and spices like curry, chili power, cumin, Garam masala that make food taste pretty good.

Going to have tilapia and asparagus for dinner. And a chopped up apple with cinnamon (microwave for a minute) for dessert.

Phew! Sorry for the ramble. Good luck with the drops on the scale! Lovely Losers 2022 - JOYFUL and JUBILANT in January!!

Ok help, i am STARVING today!

I can think of a few reasons why:

    1. I skipped HCG yesterday so maybe body is low on it today?
    2. I used a new needle today for the injection, which says it's 100 units vs the 50 units i had before. It also had a shorter needle length. That said, I did measure out to 16 units so unlikely?
    3. For the past week, i haven't been eating the full 2 snacks and 2 meals...in fact it's been more like 1 meal and maybe 1-2 snacks. Maybe this is my body catching up with me?

So today, I had to add 2.5 tbs of MCT oil. In my first round I used it and managed to lose for a whole...ugh I hope this doesn't set me off track...

U-100 needles come in 3 version: 100cc/50cc/30cc The doses measure the same in all of them. So if you were pulling to 16 units in one, you would pull the same in either of the others.

The different needle length is unlikely to cause an issue in subcutaneous dosing.

Being super hungry on your skip day could mean your dose is a bit low....but only change dose if you were having some hunger issues leading up to the skip day. Generally hunger levels don't change on a skip day because you still have 2/3 of you dose circulating and its enough to keep you from getting hungry. It could just be an anomaly. Especially if eating something took care of it. Could the approach of TOM be a factor?

If you were deliberately eating less food, that could have thrown you off, but missing a couple items here and there because you don't have room to eat them is ok.

Thank you for the prompt response @Leez!!

So I measured 16ius on this needle too. So hopefully no issues.

Just to clarify, my skip day was yesterday. So I thought perhaps Iím hungry today bc I donít have that HCG build up in my system as much. I felt fine on the skip day actually. I havenít been skipping meals intentionally, it was more bc of the holidays and not having access to the stuff in the kitchen. Also TOM not due for another couple weeks.

I am hopefully it was an anomaly. Also hopefully I didnít backstep on my progress todayÖI made the crack cocoa with MCT oil which god was amazing!!
