    Good morning, everyone!
I love seeing cheesy pizza crust recipes. Actually, anything with cheese piques my interest.
When I attempted to post the whoosh graphic last month, I noticed images were no longer being saved to the forum, so I had to link to an external site instead. It looks like the image storage may have been disabled, either in error or as a cost-savings measure.
After 1 day of P3 (and much to my surprise) I woke to the same weight this morning. I'll take it! And I assume it won't last.
Despite efforts to avoid eating after 6:30 pm, I was absolutely ravenous around 7:45, so I had some cottage cheese with a small mandarin orange. It hit the spot and apparently didn't do any damage.
Hope everyone has a great day!
    ~Karen~

Put it into the microwave on high, 3 to 6 minutes until the crust gets brown. Put the crust onto a plate and let it cool and harden. It will be very hot! Needs about 5 minutes to cool.
Meanwhile, put a bit of marinara sauce and your pizza toppings into a skillet and heat. When the crust is cool and crisp, put the sauce & toppings on, sprinkle cheese on top, microwave briefly to get the cheese toppings melted. Use scissors to cut into quarters and enjoy.
About 400 calories for a salad plate size.
Yes! That is it. Leez's looks good, too. Eggs and Cheese.Mine is just a big cheese chip with pizza stuff on top. But boy, is it satisfying!

Kar, me too, same as yesterday. It's a good thing, but after losing (even the same four pounds twice like me!) it is not as much fun. Still, a GOOD THING.

I hear you on the ravenous! The first few days, I was so satisfied with Farmer's coffee, but yesterday I was so hungry by 11 a.m. I had a huge brunch - protein waffles with Diet Mrs. Butterworths, TWO egss, 2 sausages and some shredded cheese under the eggs. I was finally able to take a deep breath.

Today, I'm having eggs, a pinch of cheese and grape tomatoes now to avoid that panic-y feeling. In P3, which is what I'm doing now as a PI, one is supposed to ramp up to much more calories than P4, and lots of protein. I evidently got stalled on the ramp and slid down backwards some.

    Whew.

Glad P3 is starting off well for you, Kar. You did exactly the right thing by eating something when you were ravenous, even though it was evening. To not have met that hunger call would have sent a message to your metabolism to slow down....not what you want happening in P3! ^_^

    Happy hump day, lovelies!

Thanks, Leez - your reminder will help me keep that fact in perspective!

    Pearly, that brunch sounds delightful.

I'm up 0.4 today, sitting exactly at goal. Wouldn't it be nice to stay right here, without any more upward ticks on the scale? One can only dream...

Hope everyone has a great day!

Yikes Kar. We are attached at the hip---or waistline or something.I am up .4 as well, and while it is neglible for wearing clothes or anything else, grrrrr. ME NO LIKEY.

I should not expect to lose on a PI. I will be back in P2 in about a week, so I just hope I don't gain .4 every day. Mustn't panic. I'm hoping to do about 10 more days in P2, but may have to do 2 weeks. I have a kid birthday to go to and that means a restaurant meal, on Sunday. Then I am getting back into water exercise and want to do that a bit before starting P2. Pool has been closed so missed a whole week, but they switched to another pool that is usually reserved for teams and laps. They are letting us oldtimers bounce around up to our chins.

    Onward onward onward.

Whew. Just got back from second water aerboics class of the week. Wears me out! I will get stronger, I just need to endure. Revising my whole schedule to do this is not easy. That week off when the pool was closed did not help. Wonder what else the Devil will do to try and stop me?

Im back down 2 out of 3 of the little gains from the past few days, so just .2 above my lowest so far. I ordered groceries but am mindful this is just a PI, not 3 weeks of P3, so did not order any cheese or mixed nuts, which are sort of staples in P4. I just want to be able to eat fruit and a little fat during my PI. I did not order peanut butter. (!) I am sort of over almond butter. I don't know why as I enjoyed it for years, but now it sounds sort of meh. I did get HWC so I can't start go back to P2 until that is is gone...

Sounds like everyone is holding steady on their P3/PI. It's not that easy to do!

Thanks for the pizza crust recipes, I will try it out this weekend.

I'm holding very steady at 3lbs over LDW. I'm not too worried about that because it's been so steady. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind bringing that down by a lb or two. Do I try and do that in P3 or wait for P4? I have 9 days left of P3. I would like a bit of a buffer to move forward with, but I realize that if my body likes it at this weight maybe I should just work on maintaining it? IDK

I have my 1.5 yo grandson today, which is always exhausting, and then my sons and partners and grandson for lunch on Sunday, so I should be worn to a frazzle by Monday!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Mo55, its not a good idea to try to lose weight in P3 (except if you wake up needing a correction). Some will lose a little naturally during P3, and that is ok if you are eating enough and often enough. You can try any tweaks you like once you get to P4, but the purpose of P3 is to allow your new setpoint to settle in, so if you are holding comfortably at 3 pounds over for a number of days, in my opinion, it would be counter productive to do a correction day now.

PearlyMae, good luck with water aerobics. I found my body fights fat loss when I spend time in the water - seemed to want to hang onto an insulating fat layer. Water sucks heat out 25 times faster than air.

WELCOME Tmott! You are not intruding. This is certainly not supposed to be a private thread, it is just less busy than it was way back when. Glad to have you join us.

I'm a day late and pretty sorry. I was up a bit yesterday and never got around to posting. I was starved yesterday, and ate three full (huge) but perfectly on-protocol P3 style meals. And according to TESS, I'm up TWO POUNDS. I am getting pretty tired of her shenanigans. I am wearing the exact same jeans as yesterday and they do not fit comfortably at the weight she showed me today, but they DO fit just fine. So, who knows.

Big birthday weekend for my nephew. He has a DATE for lunch, a party tonight and a family dinner tomorrow. As a speciall needs kiddo, he absolutely craves the attention and loves his birthday. So, not much cutting back this weekend. I can try, but I know I won't be perfect. There is a red velvet cake involved.

I will restart P2 either at the end of this week or over the weekend.

    Onward!

    Happy weekend, everyone!

    Hiya, Tmott!

I’ve been bizzeeee but keeping up with reading posts.

Pearly, IDK what TESS’ problem is. How annoying!

My first week of P3 has been going surprisingly well. (I hope I didn’t just jinx myself.) I started taking lipotopic factors (horse pills, not injections) on P3D2. I don’t know if that’s why things seem to be going better than my previous P3s, but I’m thankful, whatever the reason.

I’m making my go-to “better than fathead pizza crust” recipe for a family dinner tonight. I just need to substitute the baking powder for P3.

    Onward, indeed!
    ~Karen~
