Thread: Lovely Losers- Amazing & Ambitious in April!! (2015)

  1. #13
Pearly: I'm with you (kinda) on the weight thing. My last LDW was 127.0 and I've been closer to that than this round's LDW. I'm hoping to get back down though. I'm about 4 lbs. heavier now than when I ended my round.

So, I finally got my T25 video yesterday and the person literally didn't not put it an any type of case or sleeve. It was wrapped in a USPS envelope and, needless to say, I couldn't even do half the video. It skipped every 10-30 seconds, so I didn't really get much out of the workout I did do. I've requested a return and may just look up exercises that I can add to my Pilates.
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

ok..havent' look at the march one...

Is today Johnny's bday? officially? Happy birthday Johnny!!!!

    Welcome newbies!

today has started with a 'piddle' our female boxer has a uti. she use to get them all the time, so much that i daily gave her ACV to keep her balanced, but it has been at least 2 years since that has happened. No pre warnings with this one, fine one day and bam, peeing all over the next. We have her in the laundry room, where her crate is and I already gave her the yogurt and ACV mix this morning and will again this evening. She can piddle on the floor in there, as it is still too cold to leave the door open to the back yard. I mixed acv in her water too. I will keep her on this mixture for the next month, then just the ACV for at least another month after that. She is 9 years old...a boxer...10 years is a long life for a boxer...I am avoiding putting her on any medications at this point if I can treat her naturally instead. If i don't see improvement in a couple of days I will take to the vet.

I feel so bad for her...UTI suck!

On the personal body front: The cutting out the extra obsessive cheese is beginning to yield less bloating results. I can feel my stomach feeling flatter and less grumbly. I still think I have a little virus or something...just given my frequent trips to the bathroom yesterday and the day before...and that over all general feeling of lack of energy. Either that or the allergies are really kicking my butt in a way it has never before.

at any rate...onward as Miss Pearly says...one must continue...right?

It is april and I have begun what as to be termed 'my realistic exercise approach' to my body. I am starting to lift light weights to tone up the arms...not an issue. But my knees on the other hand are. Each spring I get excited about the warm weather and start to jog or ride my bike and retear my meniscus, which ultimately takes 8-9 months before it feels better, minimum! So...I am looking for some low impact ways to tone my thighs...I would like to squats, but must use my mp3 player while doing them because I can't stand listening to the pop noise from my knees...YUCK!

If you all have any ideas I would love it...I would like to bring back that thigh line of muscle down the side of the leg again...

lunch time and I need to plug two new numbers into the call blocker to block...I hate those damn spammers! invading my sanctity of my home with their thieving ways...

have a great day...sun is shinning for once here...albeit still chilly...

Hello all! Thanks for the introduction to us Pearly!!

I'm with you and Pro. I haven't really had my mind or heart in this round, so it's pretty much been a failure. I couldn't decide if I was doing POP or Hcg 2.0 or SB, and therefore did poorly at all of them. I think POP is the best way for ME to lose weight, although YMMV. (Your Mileage May Vary for the newbies.)
I've got about a week left, want to do POP but currently on mini vacation with more vacations to follow throughout this whole month, so kind of pointless. Lovely Losers- Amazing & Ambitious in April!! (2015)
I maybe with you in May....

Brick - sorry about your dog. My old lab never wet in the house and when she started to we knew it was about time for her to get on some meds. Plus she felt so ashamed when it happened. It was sad.
As for the spammers - sign up for nomorobo - it is the best invention! Your phone rings once but then robo calls automatically get hung up on. It is free. I never have any messages left from robo calls and truly they do stop calling.

Super busy today at office – got here late because I got my teeth cleaned this morning, damn, I’d do that EVERY MONTH if I could afford it, love the way my mouth feels C.L.E.A.N.

    First things first:

HUGE MEGA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JONJON!!
    Peanuts Gang Happy Birthday.jpg

Hope it is the BEST EVER, my friend!
    HUGS & LOVE!
    hearts in hearts.jpg

Thanks MUCH to Pearly for the Lovelies Overview to newbies (NICE add-on from Amber!).
I don’t care WHO starts our monthly thread – and we welcome ALL who want to join – as long as they understand
**We are all in different phases of HCG
**We do different things in different phases of HCG and we DO NOT judge one another or say “you are wrong to do that”.
**We understand that different foods/protocols work for different people and we EMBRACE whatever you are doing if it is working for you.
**It is a nice extra if we put Kansas’ “NOP” on out of the ordinary things we are doing, but on this thread? Only if you want - we should all understand we are doing what is best for ourselves.
**WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER. Period. If you ain’t here to do that, please start your own thread.
**We also have a quirky & irreverent sense of humor. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND AND ALWAYS ASSUME POSITIVE INTENT.

And that’s all I have to say about that.

Pearly, please post a new pic when you feel you are no longer too butchy. (hee hee hee) No, seriously, I'll bet it is adorable, you are just getting used to it. Does your hair get mad at you when you cut it? Mine does, and doesn't "settle down" for a few days.

Amber, if you have not seen, please check out Fear The Walking Dead, AMC spin off, supposed to take place about the time Rick goes into that coma (1st episode for TWD is when is wakes up from it), and is set in LA. I’ll give it a try, since I need to get my zombie fix for the summer.

Jansen - GREAT MAJIK STEAK DAY!!!! Hope the high protein follow-up works for you as well as it does for me

AFM – Up .6 to 177.6, but okay, I expected it; had a glass of red wine with dinner & some extra pistachios after dinner (damn, I should just get it over with & buy a freakin’ salt lick), so I figured a little bump this morning.

Yogurt/Berries for lunch; Roast Beast for dinner, lots of water, should smooth that bump right out.

    Round 9 /Start 191/LDW 175.0
    P3/Wk 1 – start 175.0 – end 176.2 //Wk 2 – start 175.4/end 176.4
    P3/Wk4 – start 175.4/end 175.6 // Wk5- start 178.6/ end 175.6 (SD this week)
    P3/Wk6-start 176.4/ end 176.6// Wk7-start 178.4/ end 178.4 (SD this week)
    Maintenance Phase – start 3/23/15
    Wk1 –179.4/179.4/179.0/178.4/178.0/176.6
    Wk2-177.0/177.0/177.6

We are an inclusive group here, some are at goal and working to maintain, some still working on getting there and doing more rounds, whether doing them now or maintaining in between. A bunch of us finished rounds in January, and another few are on the last week/days of rounds started late Feb, early March. We have drops and injections both here, plus POP, sorta POP, Hcg 2.o and Siesta Beach, tho we are all careful to point out what is and isn't POP, so we don't confuse anyone who is new to this. We all pretty much agree, POP is the way to go when starting out. We pretty much ALL came from other threads at some point, so glad to have you aboard.

We use a lot of acronyms and expressions here, so here's a few to get you started. Lovelies, fill in what I missed, please?
POP= Perfectly on Protocol (I think)
    AFM= As for me
DH, DS, etc. = Dear Hubby, Dear Sister, etc.
    TES: The Evil Scale
    TOM= Time of Month
LDW, LIW =Last drop (dose) weight , Last Injection Weight (Locked In Weight)

And of course, it helps if you watch Grimm.

AFM: Not weighing for a few days, but I am hanging in. I am much much better today after a horrible foggy allergy day. I think I have enough shots to get to Friday or Saturday. I may be the only Lovely in history to do a round and end up FATTER than I started! I wanted to lose inches this round, and I have done so, so I can't complain, but I was pretty much in my 2 pound window most of the time--but was fighting a creep of a couple of pounds. I am still pretty much fighting those same two -three pounds. I am thinking I will take a 6-week careful P3 and come back around with a very POP round in mid-to late May and try again. I loved not doing POP, but for me, too easy to go overboard and not really seeing pounds come off.

My hair is really, really, really short after big haircut last night. A little too butch, actually. But in about 2 weeks, it should be perfect.
    P
PS: Hmmmmm. I used the term pretty much 3--no, 4! times. Must be a pretty much kind of day.

Brick - who could overlook your Grimm Addiction. You get grim w/o your Grimm.
