    Oh my Katt, that 2 year old! Too cute! It's like he already knows how make the girls heart melt.
    Nice the little one doesn't mind the glasses at such a young age. We lost so many pairs cuz joey would just snatch them off and toss them.

    Thanks for all your posts, everyone. I think some love was in the air yesterday. I'm not married and don't have an SO in my life, but I've been feeling a lot of love toward others the past few days, and telling them. One of my bf got PET results back on Tuesday and she is cancer free - I brought her flowers when she got home from work and hugged her big. Her sis had knee replacement surgery in March and she's making terrific progress (even got in and out of my car on her own for her first outpatient PT visit yesterday). My bros and my folks even - more than the usual. I was even thinking about how loving and grateful I was feeling yesterday for all the important people in my life. I was thinking I should look at my astrology chart to see what transits I have going on, but it must be something in the air for all.

    Hi beauties. I just wanted to say hello. I've been posting in SB and trying to get caught up here this week. I've missed you all. With the parasite cleanse and getting SUPER sick I just caved on keeping up here. I also caved with any eating plan. I just felt horrible. I'm doing a lot better. Dang this cold lingers.

    I decided to do a cleanse that my good friend offered to me. She is an ND and leads them. So I'm eating mostly raw until dinner and also adding some things like raw cheese and I had a fresh egg yesterday for dinner. Oh and the day starts with a lemon juice, EVOO, flax oil, garlic, ginger, cocktail! She is facilitating a liver cleanse (that's what the cocktail is for) but I'm more doing it for the support with the parasite detox etc and to have the support that she and her group offers. I gained some icky lbs thru my sickness and haven't weighed in a while but I'm feeling pretty good eating this way. I feel like my body is more sensitive to foods that really give me good energy and healing. It's fun eating a lot of raw. I've wondered how it would make me feel. I'm thinking I will gradually work my way back to high protein and lower carbs. Especially if I don't lose this middle section that has appeared. But we will see. Just wanted to say hello and that I'm still here.

    Wow! Love is in the air

    Shining: The cleanse sounds good! Good, clean eating/drinking will always make you feel better. I'm sure TES will be good to you when you decide to weigh.

    I didn't give blood this morning but I did get 2 HUGE bruises on my fingers because the guy apparently didn't know that you're supposed to prick the side of the finger and NOT the middle of it. My ring finger hurts really bad and it's bruised more than the other. It was a little worth it though because they allow you to donate $$ to your favorite charity if you're not able to donate but try to.

    Good morning Lovelies!

    Pro – congratulations on being down! I think ridding your surroundings of all things snacky sounds like a great plan! I love donating blood. I work at a college so everytime the carter bus is out I get excited. Not sure why I have this love of donating??

    Johnny – sorry about that pound. How many weeks have you been on SB? I’m thinking my stall this week is because last week I lost 4.5 pounds on it. Didn’t know if this was your second/third week. I recall you were losing daily a week ago so maybe your body is settling as well.

    Kerry – congrats on the loss! Yep we are all master mathematicians and mad scientists these days. I just have to keep reminding myself that it is only during the weight loss mode. Once I get back to the day to day I won’t have to be so conscientious.

    Janeen – boo on the gain but yep those meds make a difference. You will be back on the down side tomorrow.

    Randi – thank you for the reminder! I have really appreciated all you have shared.

    Katt – you are rocking P3! Congratulations. Grandbabies are adorable. I love a kid in shades! So good to share in the celebration of your friend being Cancer free!

    Brick – that is such a sweet story! I envy those who have such a long history together. If you can mature together and go through puberty together then you are together for life!

    Good morning Pearly, Christy, Kansas, Last, Rose and anyone else I’ve missed!

    AFM – well I finally starved and drowned that darn pound and it has left the building. I knew switching to SB would give good results the first week (4.5 pounds) so now I have to figure out how to keep on losing. Tomorrow is my weigh in day to determine my losses for this week. Well really Saturday but I’ll be in OK at the Fleetwood Mac concert – unless one of the band members breaks a hip!

    Amber: Woohoo for being down that pesky pound! I know why you love donating - because you're helping people That's why I always have them stick me twice if the first iron test isn't high enough. It's worth the little bit of pain to see if I can give them that blood.

    Hello Lovelies . . . uber busy day at the office, as I finish up several meetings and try & get Bossman on his way to Hong Kong. Every time I hear him curse or big sigh, I get ready for "CHRISTY!!!!" but so far he's holding it together. Fingers crossed for the rest of the day.

    Janeen – amazing how missing ONE dose can throw you off. I’ll bet it is gone tomorrow.

    JonJon – TES can be SO demoralizing – she can put my positive mood right in the toilet somethings - BUT I also know my clothes fit about the same OR ARE LOOSER than in March, so I feel we are moving forward and on the right path.

    I really need to go hit the sale rack at Dillards or Macy’s, BUT keep stalling myself since I plan to do another P2 in late May. I hate to go buy new clothes, then 60 days later they are too big. So I’m trying to make do. My jeans are really the biggest problems – so very big, by the end of the day extremely baggy. Maybe I'll try hitting the thrift stores and see what I can find. Jeans go so fast here, unless you are a size 2 or 22.

    Shining – so great to see your update! Nice pics, I can see why people love CA.

    Amber – Hooray on shaking that pound, enjoy that F’Mac concert for us, EPIC band!!! Glad they finally got their heads out of their asses & got back together so we can enjoy that music. (Same goes for the Eagles, too).

    Fun Fact - Did you know Stevie does more music tours and special visits to our Military than any other music celebrity? I should go don my fringed butterfly tunic & swirl around in her honor. (Don’t worry, no pictures will be involved.)

    Gonna try 1500 as my daily “high cal” and 25 as my “high carb” standards. See how my bod like those numbers & if I lose. Just a tiny bit every day or every other day would be fine.

    Great! Remember (if you're not already) to deduct the grams of fiber from your grams of carbs to get your net carbs. Ex: broccoli 6 grams carbs - 2 grams fiber = 4 net carbs

    If you're not doing this, then you actually had less carbs then you thought.

    yeah you drowned the lb! LOL Too funny. I'm on my 4th week on a solid SB. This week has been a wash ..... but what are ya going to do??? Gained 2 lbs over the weekend and just can't get it off. I wondered, too if maybe because I had had good steady losses, my body is trying to conform???? Who knows. I definitely feel good and look a little smaller and clothes are loose, so can't complain too much??
