NO weigh in this morning for me – playing with our at home Laser Therapy Helmet (we r calling it the George Jetson Treatment!!)
    Helmet head.jpg
We hope to have thick, lush, bushy hair by Christmas. i'll keep everyone posted.

Then I need to hit Costco IF the skies don’t open up – more T-storms expected here until SAT. Time to get laundry done, keep working on the Baker’s Rack (I started that yesterday)

BUT - Got so much done yesterday for Reveille (grooming) and several errands, plus yardwork (finally got the old fence panels removed, the two pine trees planted) – as well as a lot of online office work & a 2 hour HOA meeting last night.

Brick – so very sorry to hear about your friend! I hate Cancer so much. Bossman’s FIL just died Tuesday (another reason why I haven’t been on here much) after being declared last November in total remission!! It was a horrid shock to find out the cancer had spread to 4 more areas in 60 days of that very joyful report & was stage IV.

Amber – you have done excellent, giving your body TONS-O-TIME to acclimate to your new body weight! Congrats darlin’! Hope that infection clears up fast! I HATE those things!

Randi – very cool plane, looks like you are having so much fun with DH!

Katt – you are doing great! Get some sleep – I’m now taking a new melatonin Plus Theanine (through Vitacost) that is working better than any other melatonin I’ve ever tried before. BTW, eating too many nuts/seeds constipates me – I would think it would do the opposite of that, but you know me, not the “normal” reaction to anything!!
    Not gonna be normal.jpg

    Nice pic of Goosey Lucy!

Lola – take praise when you can get it, GF!!! My boss RARELY does that (verbal expression), but then he’ll turn around and give me something that he trusts no one else with. That shows me how highly he thinks of me – that’s just “his” way, has taken me 9 years to “get it”, but that is praise from him.

Kansas – a LOT of people like Mr. Selfridge & I like Jeremy Previns as an actor a lot. I just don’t care for the Selfridge story because I saw a documentary of the real Selfridge last year & know how it all ends for him. So, I’m bored. Watch the first couple of episodes and see what you think. You might like it. EDIT – see, Brick likes it a lot! Everything is personal preference when it comes to TV & movies. You know I liked Grantchester a lot at first, then got bored – seemed like every episode was basically the same.

JonJon – “busted can of biscuits”!!!!! L M Buttermilk Biscuit *** off!!! Amen and hallelujah to THAT!

    great pictures Randi! so beautiful!

Christy: so sorry to hear of your friend and his battle lost. sometimes there is no logic in how it attacks. ((hugs))...I talked with Bella last night, she was fantastic at helping me work through my own feelings of sadness that really surprised me.

AMBER!!!: feel better soon! I usually get what you are dealing with. This is the first cold in YEARS that has not gone to sinus infection for me. Damn things wipe me out and takes me weeks to recover. Do NOT weigh yourself for a long time..there will be so much fluid and inflammation for weeks even after you feel better.

So I woke up feeling almost normal today...which is nice... Deeks is passed out on sofa not feeling well. 5 out of 7 have now had the cold. All left standing are the hubby and eldest. humidifiers are running in every bedroom. Oddly enough the combination of benedryl and pain relief seems to be doing a pretty good job at soothing the beasts.

Eating is a challenge right now...after 4 days are not eating much my appetite is next to none...on top of that, after eating I don't feel so great. I am sure left over germs from the cold..but today's goal is to get the calories back up and eating on a more normal schedule. AND taking care of Deeks.

Super chilly today only in the upper 40's! and freeze warning tonight. I have not put any plants out yet...so I don't have to worry about that. All our seedlings are still in the house.

Otherwise I am cleaning the house from the days of neglect.

Pro - I did not clear the pepitas. I did not gain after day one with sunflower, but they are not cleared for the normal 3 days. They are out of my diet until I get back down to LDW and then I will try again. Hopefully, it's just the salt. I love sunflower seeds and I like pepitas, too. We'll see what TES brings tomorrow.

Welcome Kysha! You'll find a great group here. Enjoy loading.

Christy - I must have seen that same docu re: Selfridge. I lost interest in the show, too. Hmmmm. Never saw Grantchester. I thought I saw that Outlander was free on Prime, but it's $2 per episode or $15 per season for viewing. I've heard Vikings is great so I might watch that. I have to finish Orphan Black first, and HoC season 2 that my friend lent me. You are working really, really hard! Wow. You'll have to show us the bakers rack when you're finished with it.

Also, nuts usually keep the conveyor belt moving for me. I'm not so sure it was the nuts, but rather thinking (read hoping) it was all the salt I had yesterday.

Randi - You're looking really good. Loved all the pics, but you look especially happy in the one with your DH.

Brick - hope you feel back to normal soon. Nasty thing that cold. It wiped me out for just over a week a few weeks ago.

AFM: I drove a friend to physical therapy this morning for her new knee workout. It's only 5 minutes from a local zoo and conservatory so I zipped over there to shoot some pics while she was getting her workout in. That outing took up a couple hours and then I ran some errands on the way home and here it is, almost 3pm and I'm doing fine so far. I'll be hungry for the steak and apple, but I'm determined to be back down tomorrow. Oh, and I had some activity in the bathroom when I got home, too. It's a start.

Here's a pic of part of the flower display I took this morning. It's just past peak, but the colors are still lovely. The whole room is always gorgeous.

Shoot! Welcome newbie...Kysha! jump in when ever you can...we tend to move fast here.

thanks Katt for health wishes...I really think I missed the sinus infection boat this time around...amazing!!!

I borrowed Outlander from Netflix, but daughter grabbed it and watched it first...she LOVED it...but has not read the books. I read the books and loved them...I might get around to the dvd;s but don't want to hold up the kids on the movies they ordered and waiting for.

I keep seeing the Vikings one on the amazon thingy...looks interesting.

I am drinking making wine and eating chocolate and being grateful for what I have. I don't have dairy, eggs, cashews, almonds, most grains, even in P4. But I do have wine, chocolate, and coffee. It's good.
