R2P2D3 So I am UP 4 more pounds today. Just finishing some steroids, and had to take Ibuprofen last night, too (I always react to it by gaining a ton of fluid.) Not concerned with the scale because my feet barely fit in my shoes. I am still very bloated from the fat loading so my stomach has not gone down yet either. Another 2 days and I should feel good and hopefully be back at my pre-loading weight. Also, once I get home from all my errands today, I can take my rx water pill and start getting the fluid back under control so I can wear my shoes for work tomorrow . Probably have 6 pounds of just excess fluid on my right now (not unusual for me; I can fluctuate 6-9 overnight when I get like this.)

Have some fun things planned today with a few friends; very low key due to my health issues; then just going to get ready for work tomorrow. Yesterday we bought tickets for my father-in-law to visit at the end of April, so I will spend much of the next few weeks working to get the house really clean again after letting slide between the 3 months of pneumonia and then the almost month-long flu. While I am cleaning, I am purging too, so it will take time! Hopefully it will keep my mind off food, too.
Hey, I'm Roni (Ronnie) I bought a ticket on the Onederland Express! Come along and enjoy the ride!

Happy Thursday Lovelies! Can someone just wake me when it's Friday night and let me go back to sleep...I was up late with work issues ha Ha...

Deni: I agree with you! I find P3 very hard and very scary! But I know you can do it! Looking forward to your tips. Good luck Saturday!

LinderLou: I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the adrenal support formula kicks in for you. Honestly it makes such a difference for me. And I think it really helped me stay on track when I was on my planned interruption.

Roni: I know the weight will slide right off! Please think about adding some vitamins as you have been so ill?

    Welcome Coffee, Robin, and Mommy!

Natalie: welcome back! Sorry about your stepdad.

Angel: I have no answers because I am just always trying to stay POP...easier for me.

AFM: I am in a three day plateau. Boo Hoo. I usually get plateaus so I am not going to freak out until this extends to 7 days. I had to travel yesterday and today, I do the best I can with bringing food and restaurants but it’s kind of a crapshoot. Rough week at work but I am sticking to protocol. I have an upset stomach and digestive issues today. Not sure if it is work stress or if DH gave me his stomach flu. Probably a little of both. I am grateful that it is minor and will pass.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday! Can’t wait for the weekend!

Round 1 was all OP and I lost 10lbs before catching the flu and having to stop. This is round 2 and I started on OP but tried to move to 2.0...stalled for 5 days and am now coming back to OP. Day 13 and I've ONLY lost a total of 5.5lbs. Argh!!

I'm not a vegetarian but I tend to sway my food choices in that direction so I am always looking for protein alternatives other than meat options. Hence this seemed appealing.

I'm pretty distracted at work and so a meal replacement option for lunch would be great. At dinner, I'm usually doing eggs or chicken. I know, I know, sounds boring...but, no pain, no gain...or loss...or whatever.
Correct @Angel! It kind of sounds like a Bullet Proof Coffee to me (do it in Keto) which is a LOT of calories and is a replacement meal. If you are taking it as such, nope, not bad at all. Just watch the carbs!

Nope, does not sound boring girl. You do what you know works for you! Specially if you are doing OP. Maybe switch some seasonings around if you ever feel bored with it. Changing from one protocol to another then back to the original might be the cause of the slow loses. BUT a lot of other things can influence that; hidden sugars/carbs in any ingredients, too much fat (since doing OP), or NOT enough food (the opposite is not good either!!!)! Are you keeping a diary of what you are eating? If so, maybe go back and see if there is anything that you might have missed? Or if not, maybe you could start (for situations like this)? JUST a thought! Good Luck! You will be ok!

It IS Thursday indeed, just one more day. I CAN DO THIS I CAN DO THIS I CAN DO THIS!!!

I think today is my last P2 day, last day with no injections. Went out to a non-planned lunch with an ex-coworker today and Thank God it was to Salata so I was able to have a great meal without feeling bad about it. Now on to survive the evening! hahahaha! Not much more to share today. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Congrats to the losers and Hugs to the ones struggling!

Welcome to those just joining us, welcome back to those returning, and hugs to those with recent losses of loved ones.
I haven’t been posting lately, but have been keeping up with reading. I enjoy seeing pounds melting away! Unfortunately, it feels like I’m catching them all...
My last round (like the previous) resulted in quickly regaining almost all of my weight lost. I admit I got frustrated in P3 and didn’t keep up with the requisite correction days. Also, the common element in my last two (and only two “failed”) rounds was the brand/delivery method of hcg, which was difficult to adjust dosage. I was WAY TOO hungry throughout P2 of both rounds. So I’m going to switch to a well-respected homeopathic brand of hcg and follow 2.0 protocol for my next round, which I’m planning to start in about 2 weeks.
I hope everyone wakes up to love from TESS!

(7 pounds were lost in a previous round. They still live in my ticker for motivation.)

Something came up tomorrow that will make it very hard to stay on protocol. I'm posting here in the hope that telling all of you will help me be accountable. I'm not gonna lie. I'm nervous.

You can make it work! If you’d like tips on how to stick to protocol, post some specifics. Almost all situations can be managed creatively. You can do it!

Ran across this quote tonight. "100% commitment is easier than 99% commitment. If you allow a window of exception, you have to utilize willpower in every situation. A 100% commitment is absolute, not situational. There is no longer any question of what you will do. No willpower needed."

Coffeegirl, usually, it takes an average of 3 days to recover from going off protocol...and that's an average. It could set you back a week! Think of it as dominoes. You want to get your dominoes lined up and then keep them falling. Don't allow anything to interrupt their flow, or you have to get them restarted, and that takes energy and time.

Also, it is not just about how going off protocol affects the number on the scale. Once you make an exception in a round, it is easier to keep doing so. This is very much a mental challenge, but YOU CAN DO THIS, and you will be rewarded for demonstrating the strength you have within you. If your commitment weakens, immediately re-commit yourself. I look forward to hearing about your success!
