I haven’t been posting lately, but have been keeping up with reading. I enjoy seeing pounds melting away! Unfortunately, it feels like I’m catching them all...
My last round (like the previous) resulted in quickly regaining almost all of my weight lost. I admit I got frustrated in P3 and didn’t keep up with the requisite correction days. Also, the common element in my last two (and only two “failed”) rounds was the brand/delivery method of hcg, which was difficult to adjust dosage. I was WAY TOO hungry throughout P2 of both rounds. So I’m going to switch to a well-respected homeopathic brand of hcg and follow 2.0 protocol for my next round, which I’m planning to start in about 2 weeks.
I hope everyone wakes up to love from TESS!
Hey Kar - Thanks so much for this post. I thought it was just me! I also used the RX pellets for the last two rounds, and not only did I have difficulty with the huge dose (500iu), but when I tried to adjust by cutting them down, it just seemed very inconsistent. I am P3D12 and today, 2.5 over LDW. Hoping it settles soon! I am also planning to switch to hhcg, but won't be doing another round until after summer. Keep us posted on how you're doing in your next round.

You are very welcomed! I can count with just 4 fingers on the amount of people in my life that know I have done/do HCG. NOT many people understand and I am NOT willing to put up with the inquisition and the accusation of ignorant people. Plus I do NOT feel ANY obligation to explain myself. If they ask, I say the same "changing my way of eating". And when they ask, "so what are you eating?" Low Carb, organic, natural. To my closest ones, they know I do LCHF/Keto and only my husband and my 3 best friends are the ones that know about HCG. Good Luck and enjoy the journey!

Being there, done that girl! And in my own very personal experience, I have learned, that how I handle those, pretty much depends on my state of mind. Some times I am very successful and others I fall so flat on my face is not even funny... So...prepare yourself mentally, more than anything. Tell yourself "I CAN DO THIS I CAN DO THIS I CAN DO THIS"!!! Prepare yourself as much as you can ahead of time; eat beforehand, bring your own food/snacks, etc. YOU CAN DO IT!

We are all here to cheer you on!

Also, it is not just about how going off protocol affects the number on the scale. Once you make an exception in a round, it is easier to keep doing so. This is very much a mental challenge, but YOU CAN DO THIS, and you will be rewarded for demonstrating the strength you have within you. If your commitment weakens, immediately re-commit yourself. I look forward to hearing about your success!
Yup, I can testify of that ^^^ 300%!! This WHOLE round has been like that for me!

... Changing from one protocol to another then back to the original might be the cause of the slow loses. BUT a lot of other things can influence that; hidden sugars/carbs in any ingredients, too much fat (since doing OP), or NOT enough food (the opposite is not good either!!!)! Are you keeping a diary of what you are eating? If so, maybe go back and see if there is anything that you might have missed? Or if not, maybe you could start (for situations like this)? JUST a thought! Good Luck! You will be ok!
So true. It took 2 days before the OP kicked back in but I'm back on track, yay! Lost 1.5 lbs since yesterday.

I am keeping a diary and lots of notes. Honestly, the one thing that I have consistently found is the water intake amount. I'm pretty consistent on calories - 450-525. I'll flux a bit on protein grams (50-70) and usually keep the carbs between 30-50 grams. But boy, drink 60oz of water vs 36 oz of water and ....bam....down another pound! That happened the first round, too.

I read on another post somewhere that every time the poster felt hungry, she drank another glass of water. Brilliant!! Watch me drown, world!!

    HI Lovelies,

First, I have found for me that I can use the lack of hunger hHCG provides to try to develop new non food ways to soothe and calm myself down. I keep a list of things I have tried when I am stressed, and have gotten suggestions of other things to try. So my advice would be to see if you can find things--a bath, a walk, etc. that work for you so you kick the emotional eating to the curb and develop new habits and ways of managing stress. Also, I agree with everyone's posts about 100% willpower and the recovery time for a cheat.

Wow this is such a smart group.

AFM good news, I am down 1.2 pounds after a 3 day plateau. Gearing up for a tempting weekend as usual but I will be 100% committed to POP. The great thing about our group is not feeling so alone on the hHCG. I also have given up trying to explain to people unless they really want a new method to lose weight. Otherwise I say I am eating MORE vegetables and cutting out processed foods. This avoids the judgement, worthless advice, and carb discussions. I just want to lose the weight and be done!!! I would also like a 2 pound cushion if I have a chance to do that. Focusing on my goals and reasons for my goals really does help me stay on track when I feel weak ....

Have a wonderful day and a terrific weekend.

LinderLou, Itís not just you and Iím grateful to know itís not just me!
I actually wrote to them suggesting they better facilitate dose adjustment and got a lecture from the companyís operations manager (not a medical professional) about taking advice from the internet, rather than doctors. I hadnít even mentioned anything about the internet or forums. Then she insisted that their dose should not be adjusted and that she would be able to help with the hunger. I asked what she suggested and she said Iíd need to share my menu with her once I was back up on that high dose for 3 full days. No [email protected]#$ing thank you. (Excuse my language.). That was my 9th round. Not my first rodeo.

I actually contacted them as well about the dose because Leez posted that they would do a custom dose for everyone. Well, they won't, at least not for the sublingual. The woman I talked with was also super annoyed that I was questioning her. She also was upset that I was doing OP and 500 calories instead of the 800 keto diet they recommend. I so badly wanted to ask her how many rounds she had done at 500iu, but I bit my tongue. I will take the advise of the thousands of forum posters here over someone who is paid to promote a product and program they have no personal experience with (just my two cents). After 2 rounds with similar poor results, I'm moving on...

Last night we FINALLY made it for our anniversary dinner. It was not meant to be a romantic evening, but a great loading opportunity, and just time spent together (not miserably sick in bed together, lol!) So, we went to the buffet, but because it was a Monday night and not a Fri/Sat night, they had a promotion running encouraging everyone to bring their kids in...so food spilled everywhere, noisy, etc. You get the picture. We were expecting it, so it didn't dampen our enjoyment. Only thing I missed by the switch of plans due to illness was the prime rib. I had my fried catfish, butterflied shrimp and bourbon chicken. YUM!! Worth the wait (once per year!) I totally overate, and decided to go ahead and have some of the "just brought out" pan of banana pudding for dessert. Couldn't finish it, and I don't regret it because last round I kept wishing I had given in and had some sweets during loading. Now, when I am craving sweets, I can remind myself of the ice cream and banana pudding I had and that I am NOT deprived. The rest of my 3 days of loading were VERY clean, so I did pretty well compared to past rounds. So, what does the scale say?

I was sure the scale was going to show a HUGE gain because I am very bloated. Both belly and feet/legs full of fluid from the breaded foods/sugar. I was right! Up to 244 this morning, and I was 239'ish yesterday, so 4-5 pounds! Should come off quickly though, and with the long hhcg round, I should get to just within Onederland "IF" I have my typical results. Of course, following rounds, my losses will start to be less as I will have less to lose. But, for now, I still have so much to lose that I can expect big losses...one benefit to being morbidly obese...

So when I got home last night after the dinner and our janitorial job, and got all the food put away from my big shopping run before dinner, I couldn't sleep. My feet/hip and back were too sore once I was no longer wired from the caffeine I took earlier. Even on the recliner, I couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep until about 4 am. Awoke at 8 thinking it was Sunday...very confused for about 15 minutes until the elderly woman I give a Sunday morning wake-up call to set me straight (hehe!) and then I went back to sleep until noon. We have a pretty tight schedule this evening, so no time left for making my chicken until tomorrow. I had eggs for lunch, and will make chicken bok choy soup for dinner. For the family, the pot roast went into the oven instead of the crock pot. All else is good, and I am really looking forward to my date with the scale each morning this first week of Round 2!
Hey t1ghtwad...good to see you jumping into your next round!! I'm getting on board ...loading for the next 2 days. Tomorrow morning my scales will confirm how much I put on last round...last I looked I was up 5-6 pounds. Not sure exactly why ...ate the same foods after my 1st round and stabilized so well then. But it's ok I'm just going to press on!! I love your mindset of "dating" your scales every morning!! Think I'll name my scales and do the same...I hope he's kind and generous Lovely Losers - Astounding! Astonishing! Awe-Inspiring in April

Hi everyone! How are you doing? I am finishing up R1P2D3. The first 2 days I wasn't too hungry, just a little bit, but felt satiated as soon as I ate my VLCD food. However, this morning (day 3) I woke up pretty hungry and noticed a lot more hunger and fatigue overall today. I took my injection around 9am and was hungry for lunch at around 11:30. Once I ate I was okay. However, from about 2pm on, I have just felt a sort of "low-grade" nagging hunger. I ate my dinner on protocol and feel okay now, but definitely noticed that I was more hungry and kind of dragging all afternoon. I take 150 iu. I was wondering if anyone has had this experience around day 3? I'm hoping it's just my body adjusting and that some days we are all a bit more or less hungry in general as women. But I didn't know if maybe it meant my dose was off. I will see how I feel tomorrow and report back, but am really hoping for a smoother day. Today felt really tough physically for me.

Thanks for your support everyone! I appreciate it!

Hello Lovelies!!! I just caught up on the April thread! I am so sorry I was away from here all of March! I missed you & needed to be here! I see how important checking in during P3 and beyond is. Such great ideas and accountability can be found here, and we keep each other motivated. I had an absolute failure of P3 even though I stuck to low carb and gained back all that I lost in my short 23 day round. I wish I'd come on here and I know you would have encouraged me to do correction days or something else to at least try. I've still never done a correction day in P3 because I eat under 20 g. carbs and feel like doing more is crazy, but I'm ready to try crazier things. The same thing happened with weight creep when I did an interruption after 20 something days before the last round. This leads me to suspect I really need a full long round to stabilize. Foodwise, the biggie is dairy. I leapt right into cheese in P3, and I usually wait several weeks. It was disheartening to watch my weight creep up, but I'm back in P2 after just over 6 weeks of P3. Ready to lose the weight again! Today is VLCD 10, and I'm planning a long round. No longer in onederland, up to 209.8. I'm not beating myself up over it. I stuck to the plan, I just need to make it work for me. So happy to be back joining all of you lovelies!
