    Hello Lovlies!!

Just popping in. Keto and I are getting along quite well. I'm no weighing, but my clothes are looser, so I'm happy.

XeXe - So sorry to hear about your ex. I guess I'm a lucky one. My ex simply dropped out of his kids' lives forever early on, when he met his new love who is 14 years younger than him. She was only 18 at the time, and my kids were 5 and 7 so....LOL!! I kept in touch with his family all those years. Still am in touch with my niece and 95 yr old father in law. Love them dearly!! Wishing you the best. You have 10 years under your belt so should be able to maintain custody. Sending you good vibes.

Christy - I just saw this online. Maybe something you want to look into? Don't know the cost, but am familiar with the ingredients. https://organicasleeplotion.com/page...g_fmx_pour_ad1

As for your foot - OUCH! So sorry. Take really good care of yourself!!

    Hello to all.

    Later....

Xexy - sometimes I hate men!! My ex hides his income and thinks that giving me $287/mo total is more than enough. Heís such a sack of crap. I stayed home with the kids for 9 years supporting him in his career. Never again. Now we are arguing over medical bills because I insure the kids and he thinks my HSA should pay first then he can chip in. Somehow he has a smart girlfriend who is an attorney and I have no idea what she sees in him.
I assume this custody ploy by your ex is financially motivated. Unbelievable.
As for the drinking. I am on day 7 of no alcohol and it has been extremely difficult for me and I am so proud of myself actually. I was doing two bottles of wine per night and binge eating. So I know the struggles of stress! Weíre here for you.
I woke up 1.4 lower today so I am down 8.4 in day 7 of VLCD. Slow and steady as I have a ways to go but I feel better already. I refuse to cave into stress anymore.
Christy so sorry about the foot! Ouch.
Everyone else just keep on keeping on.

    Forgot to Add...

Tonight is Wednesday. I still have the boys over for dinner on Wednesdays. Its been awhile since the holidays were here and there were birthdays (my son's and my grandson's) and my sister was here and the flu went around.

Tonight, I'm making meatloaf. It's something I haven't made for ages, but also got small dinner rolls in case the boys (Max 3, and Jack 5) want sandwiches. I weighed the pros and cons of making a new recipe that is keto, or making the recipe I grew up with and decided that the 4-5 carbs per slice from the oatmeal I use is just fine for me and I'll still be under 20 carbs since I'm usually under 10 each day since I prefer salads and broccoli.

Jack doesn't like potatoes so I am making rice instead - basmati for the boys. I am making cauliflower rice for me. Then, I always have a good salad for me and my son (and Jack even eats some salad now and then - yay!!). Organic corn for the boys - they both adore corn on the cob, so thought I'd make steamed corn kernals for them. I have fruit and cukes and avocados too - way too much food, but something for everyone, and EASY for me to stick to keto. And then they get their dessert/treat - chocolate/vanilla dove mini-bites. I'm not a sweets person so there is no temptation there in the least.

(So far today, I've had coffee with coconut oil and 6 Spanish Queen olives for fat to tide me over to supper. It's working for me. )

I haven't started drinking but I did not inject and won't even try to focus on a protocol right now. I'll lurk around because this has been such a great tool for me over the past few months and I wanted to thank all of the Lovelies that have been such a tremendous source of inspiration, encouragement and laughter!

    A million hugs!
    I'm so sorry! I've had to deal with not one, but two, nasty exes and it's not fun - at all. Just take care of you. You've been there for your son and anyone with a brain will see that you are and should have sole custody. We've got you over here! {{{HUGS}}}

I almost caved today. What the hell?!? It's only VLCD3 and down 4.2 total. Stress from the ex and him being a general douchebag and then procrastinating about getting a passport and realizing I wouldn't get it in time (long story). So Mexico is postponed which might be a blessing in disguise as it's 3 weeks after a San Fran trip and a month before a move...so one less thing to cram into the schedule I suppose. Is there ever a good time to do HCG??? I swear this no drinking thing is tough. I'm right there with you, Charlie. When the world is caving in on me, the first thing I want to do is have a drink. I can also be a smoker if I want to, but that's just another bad habit to add to the list. I took the afternoon off of work because it was just a total craptastic day and I won't get any real work done. I'm hoping this time at home relaxing, music, tea, this forum, etc. will help get my mind back in the right place. One day at a time...sometimes it's one hour.

The 2.0 is a bit tricky but I think I got the hang of it. However, how did I manage to eat 10 ozs. of chicken breast at lunch and exhaust most of my protein calories?? DOH!!! I had three egg whites and spinach for breakfast, and then used a chicken breast in the fridge (weighed first but obvs didn't think it through) for chili. Now I have about 60 protein calories to play with and I was really hoping I could have some tuna, cucumber, red pepper for dinner. Is it a sin to go just a wee bit over your daily protein calories? Please someone say it's okay. lol Also MCT oil arrived! So yeah for MCT mayo! I think I saw a spicy Mayo recipe on here somewhere and then Christy's recipe. I'd like to make both but I'll have to track them down. Who would have thought MCT mayo and this forum would be the highlights of my day?

Hang in there all. Keep going.

P.S. Feel better Christy. Sorry you're having to deal with all these annoyances. You're a strong lady and if anyone can kick butt, it's YOU. xoxo

I think they have an all herbal box now or an all black tea box. But yeah, so a little more research and see what you think. You can cancel a longer subscription at any time without penalty. It's just $25 a month for four different teas (50-60 cups total in one monthly order). Let me know if you decide to do it and we can talk tea!
I'm going to try it, Natalie. Order comes Saturday, I think. Looks like you can order the orange creme brule. Yum. I wish I could have added it to the one order when joining.

You'll have to let me know how you like it! I've got a kettle and a little glass teapot I use frequently. I have to remember not to drink the medium caffeine teas after 4pm though or I can't sleep! So glad you're trying it. Now we talk specific tea! P.S. You can always add orange creme later. I don't think they'll sell out of that one...or else I hope not, cause I need more!

This is a great idea, Christy! Which store do you get the Premier Protein?

    Hang in there, Xexymess!

Randi, so glad to hear 3.0 is working for you. I’m loading today and tomorrow. Will join you shortly and I can’t wat!

I have usually used cashew milk or fat free half and half during P2. Since my first round I’ve been able to do without sweetener as long as I have milk/cream. Chirsty’s additives are great, especially if you need that sweetness.

Oh yeah, BK- ummmm.... No. you canít lose 30 pounds in 30 or 40 days. It will take you 60 days. Most people lose an average of a half pound per day. Donít set yourself up with unrealistic expectations, it will only serve to depress you! (Iím saying this with kindness, not trying to be mean, just an honest answer to your question)

    STARTING WEIGHT: 157.4 (LIW 150)
