Where does everyone get supplements? I'd like to do online but want to get some good deals and legit stuff. Need melatonin, biotin and magnesium. Thank you!

I could have made different choices but I didn't. Back on the horse today. I have three weeks before San Fran trip and I'm going to be SO GOOD! Put 1 tsp. of coconut oil in my coffee this morning. I'm putting MCT oil on the shelf for now...it does not agree with my tummy. Hopefully, a little coconut oil a day won't hurt me. I decided against some of the Starkist tuna packets like buffalo style and hickory smoked...they have sugar and way too many other things listed in the ingredients. Don't want to risk it. The other ones are really tasty like lemon pepper and jalepeno. I have some chicken breast thawing in the fridge and trying to figure out something not boring later. Any favorite 2.0 dinner recipes using chicken?

Hey! I tried the buffalo tuna this weekend in the packet and LOVED it. But I decided I'd use the prepackaged kind only in a pinch and make some myself using chicken and tuna...Love it even more! I put a can of tuna in a bowl, sprinkled with onion powder, pink himalayan salt and cayenne pepper then added Frank's buffalo wing sauce to taste and served over a big salad--DELISH! And the spicy stuff helps me guzzle more water!

Last night I made a simple chicken soup that was amazing, especially in this cold weather. I sauteed about a cup of grated cauliflower, a tablespoon of finely chopped onion, and some fresh garlic then added 4 cups of chicken stock (College Inn brand lists no carbs on the label). I added 4 ozs cooked, shredded chicken breast and simmered for about 30 minutes. After I put a serving in a bowl, I topped with fresh chopped spinach leaves and a few green onions. It totally hit the spot and was a HUGE meal with lots of nutrients but very low in calories.

Hey Amber and Carol! Welcome back. You don't have to leave if you are not on P1, 2 or 3. Cuz "P4-ers" need support, too. And just in-betweeners are welcome always. At least I hope so. I have been on this thread for years non-stop. I never leave! LOL.

I am trying so hard to figure out P4 "Life." Afterall, what is the point of the other P's if I gain it back over and over? Well, of course, the point is to get healthy, and I have so far gained 10-15 and 20+ pounds back, but am still healthier than I was before I lost 50. But still.... I don't think the idea of all this was to have to do P2 over and over to stay at a reasonable weight! I don't mind one or two short rounds a year as a little brush up, butI feel I am not doing it right when I gain steadily every time I finish a round of P1, 2 and 3.

Going back to Dr. S' original writings, I know one thing that he gives as a guideline in P4 that I have never been able to follow well: A correction day (He says Steak Day) ASAP when closing in on going over your 2 pound window.
1)I can go from .5 over my LIW to 2-3 pounds over and out of my window overnight. So it sneaks up on me!

    2) and then there is the fact that I have never found a correction day that works for me.

    a) I either can't do it
    I) I'm hypoglycemic so without hcg in my system, I can't fast all day and then eat a steak. By the time the steak part comes, I am in bed with a pillow over my head, hands shaking, lightheaded, headache, back ache or
II) in jail: from getting so grouchy I suffered a fool badly!
    or
    b) It doesn't work anyway! I've done chicken thigh day, apple day, full fat greek yogurt day... very little loss. I've done more with just eating my normal high fat/moderate protein/low carb way.
So, perhaps that is why I creep. I SHOULD be addressing it with a correction day or two instead of playing the Two Cherry Slot Machine game. (2 up 1 down, 2 up 1 down. DING DING DING DING! You lose!)

Maybe? And this JUST ME. Your mileage my vary.

I have been steady at in the 129's the last few days. I was yowling about that number, until I saw 131 on Friday. Now 129 looks Just Fine Thankee.

Nat, I just get my supplements on Amazon. I think others get them online at Vitacost? You will get more and better answers!

    Onward! P

PS: I'm trying to get each of my sister's kids to lean to cook a bit, and helped my 15 year old nephew try cooking chicken fried rice yesterday. I precooked the chicken and the rice, so he just had to stir stuff together basically and cook the eggs, but it came out just like the picture. FOR ME, I stole a bit of chicken and a tiny amount of peas and carrots and egg (maybe 1/4 cup total) and put it over riced cauli I steamed in the microwave. After pouring (lower sodium) soy sauce all over it, I could not tell the difference between it and the one with actual brown rice. Stayed the exact same weight overnight, so win win. And while yes, it WAS chicken, it was DIFFERENT chicken, which is always good!

Amanda, your chicken soup sounds AMAZING. I totally want to make it. I'm a little hesitant using chicken stock but I'll look into College Inn brand. I'd love some chicken soup and with fresh garlic, onion and spinach - Yes, Please. I'm glad the buffalo tuna worked out! I think I'll hold off unless I'm in a pinch but I do love the tuna packets in general for convenience.

Hey everyone! I am late to the party. LOL I started my VLCD 5 days ago. Im doing pellets and am having awesome losses. I've lost 12.2 pounds so far! Im happy this round seems easy... what's not easy is my friends wanting to go out and eat and drink and don't understand why i can't. If I can get through that, ill make it. I see alot of familiar faces here from over the years. It's nice to see that!

I hope you all have great losses!

I want to get a Magnesium supplement for regularity and to help with depression/anxiety/sleep. There are so many! I'm also looking for other supplements besides melatonin and magnesium to help with sleep. Thank you!

Thanks, Randi and Charlie. I think I'll go with Vitacost on supplements (and they have vinegar and avo mayo WOOT). I don't have a Costco membership darnit...so I may just have to look at Sprouts for now.

I meant to tell you that I also allowed myself to slip and am back at it today. I managed to help myself to some Lays and Wheat Thins. I know better. I have been reading up on the Fast Metabolism Diet and Plan to do it once Iím done with P3. That and/or Keto. Itís going to take a total lifestyle change because 40ís are much different than the 30ís.
