Hey coffeegirl and Kimbudda! Wishing you two great losses on P2!

roxies_mom -- Almonds are so hard to resist! And they are my favorite during loading days! So nice to see you still lose the next day!

Hey jeepcurly! It's hard for me not to snack either during the beginning of P2. Happens to the best of us.

Tanya -- Good to see you're able to add things little by little and get away with them. I'm sure those 2 lbs will be gone in no time.

AFM, I'm on day 30-something of P2, gained a little -- and I'm guessing it's because I've had increased activity at work. Walking around and going up and down stairs more than usual. Surprisingly I'm not upset about it, because I still feel and look so much smaller than when I started a month ago. And I'm sure this will pass. Started a new vial, since I ran out of the other, which is why I'm considering extending my round beyond 40 days. I just can't imagine letting all that HCG go to waste! Only using 10 out of 30 days worth? I just can't do it. But then there are times that I'm ready for P3. So, who knows what I'll decide?

Keep up the good work all of you on P3!

And wishing everyone on P2 great losses!

Day 1 of VLCD today. I want to do a 30 day round. My mother died of a terrible cancer 6 months ago, and I gained alot of weight while caring for her as she died. I saw just how much I was using food to cope with my anxiety and stress! I am at an all time high weight and I noticing I cannot do things I would like to do...like sit easily on the floor - and get up again without struggling. Looking forward to support here to keep me going! Thanks!

Hi Roxies! So happy for you doing this protocol again! I have lost over 100 lbs for the 2nd time on this program (after having a baby and not being careful to keep the weight off). It works! You can do this! Think about how awesome you will feel and what you're going to wear after the round!

    And welcome back roxies_mom!

I’m on Day 31 of P2, and probably shouldn’t, but I’m considering doing an extended round BEYOND 40 shots. Still doing research on it... considering the pros and cons... but basing it off people’s actual experiences. So far, I’ve done everything just about 100% on protocol, but now I’m tempted to veer off just a little by extending my round.

Anyone ever do that with success?
I've done this to the extreme but only with hhcg, never the shots. It works the absolute best for me to do long rounds, having SO MUCH weight to lose, but it can be hard on the body. I'm going to try to stick to closer to 40 day rounds.

Welcome Jeep, Kim, June and all the new friends to meet! I'm so happy to see this place active even in springtime! Have a beautiful weekend Lovelies!

Christy, I am sorry to hear how this round is going, but I love your attitude! You know this works, and I think that helps calm us down when we gain.

Lovelies, I am sick, and weight is in flux. Today I feel calmer about it because while it was going UP, I'm happy I lost 5 lbs overnight. It's probably inflammation, and I didn't eat much yesterday or today, but what worries me is that this is messing up stabilizations. I'm considering a little Fat Fast when I feel better IF I'm still over LDW because I'm determined not to have to re-lose the weight again if I can help it! Does anyone NOT recommend a Fat Fast in P3?

Hi Diva, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother in such a painful way. I hope you will find lots of healing during this time. I had the issue of not wanting to sit on the floor and it was heartbreaking to have to tell my littlest I needed to sit in a chair. I have found this protocol lifechanging. May it be the beginning of amazing things for you! Big hugs!

Hi all. It’s great to see so many active lovelies!
P3D5 in progress for me and I’m 0.8 below LDW, so all good. I’ve cleared dairy and bacon. I haven’t eaten anything too crazy. I’ve done my shopping for next week and kept it very tame. I don’t want to jinx myself, but already this P3 feels much better than my last 2. So I am comfortable saying the RX pellets I used in those 2 failed rounds (could never get dose right) were horrible for me.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

You have my sincerest condolences Damselfly. It is not exactly the same thing, but I lost my sister and niece early last year, to domestic violence. The trauma of it all... and the stress and grief... it was devastating to my health really. It also opened my eyes to see just how these intense emotional experiences can manifest through our bodies.

I hope you are taking the time to show yourself a lot of love now as you move forward. I'm also glad you are here. There are so many lovely souls in these forums and I'm positive you will find all the support you need.

Hello to old and new friends! I am on P3D7, and am up 0.4. Dairy has not been an issue, and Costco's bacon chunks from the bag are not an issue in small quantities. I have bounced up 8 pounds overnight during P3 (as I did during this P2), but lost all but 1.4 of it the next day, and am still coming down. My fluid levels are still fluctuating, but my docs are not concerned, so I am just going with it and not doing any correction days unless it stays up for more than 2 days, or if I feel like it is a reaction to food. I learned last round that rice is a BIG issue for me, causing a 5 pound gain that was hard to get back off. I only lost 10 pounds in almost 2 months this time, so I am looking forward to the next round being more "successful". However, there is not much point in starting a round unless I can get this fluid bouncing under control. With the Kaiser docs not helping me figure out what the cause is, I am just trying to work through it on my own. Part of it may just be the way my body is reacting to my schedule (2 long days of work each week). But until we move into town from the country, that will not change.

The good news this past month is that I was finally diagnosed with Ehler's Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), and while there is not much that can be done now, it is nice to have confirmation of what I have known was the underlying cause of many of my health issues for decades. Also, my doctors are now taking my issues a little more seriously. Most importantly, my daughter has been diagnosed and is getting proper braces and hopefully occupational therapy to prevent some of the joint damage that I have.

Back to work tomorrow. 14 hour day, including shopping at Costco between the 2 jobs. Then off for 3. I went through so much clothes and found some cute things for this summer, but much of it needs washing and/or ironing. Got a busy week ahead of me finishing the project, but when I am done, 1/5 of my clothing will be gone. I look forward to about 1/3 of what's left going away after the next round! I will not need to buy much clothing until I lose another 50 pounds, so I am happy about that with hubby losing his job last month. He is still looking...

Thank you everyone for all your supportive words and welcome! I have done HCG before with great success, hoping to repeat that - and keep it off permanently!

Jenya - I am so sorry to hear about your sister and niece. Devastating. Some days life seems
so hard and so unfair. Devastating. Sending you love and healing.

Beachy - hugs back to you.

Today we celebrated my son's birthday and I stayed on protocol! Yay! even with movie popcorn and an endless cr cream cake! Didn't even lick the knife when I cut it! Whew. Another kids birthday coming up...then nothing more this round celebration wise. I find it hard to say no to celebratory food.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
