Hi everyone!!! I have been nuts at work! I work for the Parks and recreation department in my town, (yes, its like the show, scary like the show) LOL anyway this is our busy busy season! I posted something in the wrong month he he he, I also tried to answer my stapler this morning, truly, heard my phone ringing and picked it up! I think I need a vacation. LOL anway, this is what I wanted to share with you

    Christy,

Not too long ago, I was feeling awful, loosing my hair, weight gain, tried to kill DH (kidding) ((not))! anyway, I started going to a chiropractor, nutritionist, and kinesiologist, he truly helped me tremendously! He wrote a book about adrenal fatigue, it is an amazing read. Adrenals and thyroid are one big happening. I know you can't come to NJ, although I would LOVE to visit! I am sure that if you think this may be your problem or part of it, there are resources near you. Google this if the link does not work. His book is definitely worth checking out. Dr Steven Zodkoy, Misdiagnosed, the adrenal Fatigue Link.

I was hesitant to post this, worried you guys might think I had something to gain, nope not a thing, just love this man and his mission!

    LoriL

I hope you check this out, nothing to loose by checking out another book about our health!!

ASM, I am a bit worried, I am on D22 of P3. I am staying in my safe range. I am worried that when p3 is over, I won't know what to eat! There is no way I can continue to eat this kind of calorie count and maintain! I have a Zoku cup, its a magic ice cream/slushi/maker. you freeze the insert, then put stuff in and it turns it in to an icey! I put in about a half a cup of HWC, come chocolate flavored stevia, a little dark coco powder and some truvia. OHHHH BOY! really!! just freakin amazing!!!

Now about these carb blockers, anyone else have experience with them??? I don't think I would live on them, but boy would I like some real (made by me) pizza in P4!!!

thanks again for all your support and for sharing any detail, no matter how silly or embarrassing! My kind a girls!! Oh and Christy, we both share a love of wine, oh boy I miss it SOOOO!!!!

Ugh. Pounded water yesterday. Peed all day and still same weight this morning.

Had some extra protein, but I only got up to 543 calories. Went to cross fit so I will be delighted if I'm
    Not up in the morning.

Problem... Forgot my mid day dose, should I just skip and take at end of the day? Thoughts and/or suggestions.?

I FOUND YOU GUYS!!!! hahaha... long time no talk. Let me just start by saying r2??? uhhh, we will just say didn't count.. I know many of you know I struggled throughout the round with binging, which led to binging in p3/p4. I did so good in R1, absolutely NO cheating r1. and R2, blew it so I guess that leaves me, with one option... R3!! to finish what I started. A little bird told me with my r2 struggles "It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop." (Christy824) so here i am!!! I would like some advice from the group though...
    1. R1, i did hhcg. weight loss was much MUCH slower than my r2 with injections, but my hunger was controlled better. I am debating on if i want to just do drops for my r3 or if I should take another stab at finding my right dose on the injections??
    2. I stabilized the first 3 weeks in p3. then started binging these last couple weeks (I am 5 weeks into maintainance), so for the remainder of the 3 weeks should i just do a correction day then high protein/tuna days to get back down as much as I can before starting R3 or should I just take the hit and stabilize where I am after a correction day?
    3. In the event I do decide to do hhcg for R3, do I have to wait the 8 weeks since R1 was hhcg, R2 inj? Has anyone not waited the 8 weeks? What were your results?

Took my patch off last night..
    Ate a regular dinner
    Down 1.5 today

Gonna try to just go back to basic P3 eating and see if I can lose this gained 5.5 Lbs.(Was eating P4, before I decided to try this P2 failure! LOL)

I remember I did this once before....loaded and quit after day1. (Went back and looked in my weight journal). Looks like I waited a week and restarted with good loses!

Will try this P2 thing again in the near future!!

Hope you all have a great day!

    Good morning all ............

-3.5 today from weekend! I know sounds like a lot (and I know it is) but still have a few more to go to get back in safe zone. Yesterday kept it high protein brkfast and lunch. Salad and steak for dinner and lots of water and herbal tea all day. I kept running to the bathroom to pee! LOL I figured a lot was sodium again, so was able to have a nice loss.

Keeping it high protein and clean today. Hoping to drop a little more before the end of the week.

No_par ~ I was there last round. I struggled (and whined) the whole time! Sounds like you made the best decision right now. You'll get with it soon and be able to restart.

Lori – thanks for sharing the Adrenal doc info on this thread – I’m a big believer that we are ALL different and a “one size fits all” doc mentality is simply – quite frankly – bull****. What works for each person on this thread, in this forum, STILL may not work for me (eating coconut oil during a P2 is a good easy example – some people swear by it; I tried it and got a 10 day stall + never stabilized in 8 weeks of P3, regaining every bit of weight lost & basically had to RE-DO the P2 all over again). More information is never a bad thing! Learning what are theories that have really never been scientifically proven (i.e., calories in/calories out & fat=heart disease) is very important to what we choose for ourselves. Your Coco-Cream Icey sounds ever so yummy (especially since it will be 100 degrees here today); I don’t have any info on carb blockers, but I think someone on this thread has taken them with a little success. Red Wine . . . ahhhh . . . thought she was a good friend . . . not true.

Sadness. We'll just have to accept it and enjoy it even more on the special occasions when we do indulge, right?

Smiley – forgotten doses – I rarely ever forgot, BUT when I did, I just took my forgotten dose right as I went to bed, since the hhcg drops seem to INCREASE my hunger for about 30 minutes immediately after I take them.

Life! Good to see you! On your questions
    1. If my hunger was really bad on injections, I would go with the drops. I can take slower losses, but not being hungry all the damn day. That would derail my P2 completely.
    2. I would continue to do as many correction days you can get in before your loading days. I would want to get back as close as I could to my LDW before loading. JMHO.
    3. I have waited 3 weeks between rounds, but regretted it (my distaste for P2 foods had not faded yet – I need a minimum of 10 weeks, but that is for me). Visualize in your mind the foods you will need to eat for the next month – do they seem adequate, or do they make you nauseous to even think about eating? That should give you your answer.

Nonie – well, good. Regroup. Do your fabulously successful P3 eating until you lose that 5.5 (you might can do it by next Sunday!). Keep going with your journal and you will know when you are mentally ready for another p2. I plan another in late August/early September – I would love to go into the Holiday season & 2015 fighting to stay right at 175 (which is only 10 pounds from my final goal – yeh, yeh, I’d like to get to 150, but I’m just not putting myself through that when I can wear a size 8 at 165!).

Johnny – way to go on the -3.5!!! Whatever you are doing, is working well – keep at it!!!

AFM – 185.4 today and very happy, since I had my baked butter/honey chicken and a whole avocado last night for dinner. It was DELICIOUS – and I stayed at basically the SAME WEIGHT! Hooray! Eating yogurt & berries again for lunch today (& probably will continue to for a while, as long as the raspberries are so scrumptious!). Probably will repeat the chicken and avocado again tonight (Saint Jim is working late) – it is already ready, gives me more time for a project I’m working at home (refinishing some huge old pots I bought 5 years ago, repainting, then repotting our Sago Palms in them – they are getting so big, but I need to pots to be a dark charcoal gray to go with the red/black/gray brick of our house since they will go on the corners of our paved front yard).

    Picture for reference
    Phone Pictures 2013 007.jpg

The pots I’m working on are double the size you see in this picture and they will sit on the paved corners. They are super heavy suckers, so once they are in place, they stay in place!!

    Round 7 – After Loading - 203
Total Weight loss – 11.8 lbs. (not counting loading weight)
    LDW for R7 – 185.0
    P3/Week 1 – 186.6 - 183.4 (-1.6 under LDW) / P3/Week 2 – 184.4 – 186.0 (+1.0 over LDW)
    P3/Week 3 – 186.0/185.4 \ P3/Week 4 – 186.4/189.0
    P4/Week 1 – 186.4/185.4/186.0/186.6/187.4/184.0
    P4/Week 2 – 185.6/185.4

Food and Nutrition numbers for 7/7:
    Cals – 2196
    Carbs – 97.9
    Protein – 35%
    Fat – 46%
    Carbs – 19%

johnny: Glad you're back down! I'm sure you'll get those extra lbs. off fast!

Christy: HOLY COW with all the steak days! What's up with your body? It's just like my car! lol

lifechanger: I usually only waited 6-8 weeks between rounds. Some people are still successful with waiting less than 6 weeks though.

    ****CAUTION: LONG RANT AHEAD****

AFM: YIKES! So, got my part programmed yesterday and might I say, I was scared to drive? My car started doing all the normal weird things and wouldn't shift on my way to work. Mid-day I took it to Auto Zone and was told I have a bad O2 sensor. Ok, so my car still shouldn't be acting the way it was. So, after work it started shifting properly. YAY! I had some electrical issues (park, drive, etc. wouldn't highlight like it normally does, doors didn't automatically lock when I put the car in reverse, etc.). GREAT. BF took a look at it and disconnected the battery. He took one of the modules out so I could get the part # (thinking I had to get yet ANOTHER module). Drove it after that and most things worked fine. I'm just hoping all that is related to the modules needing to recognize and get used to the new programming. PLLEEEAASEEE be that. I'm getting my O2 sensor fixed tomorrow so hopefully that'll help too. AS FOR MY WEIGHT? Well, somehow I'm at LDW today. EVEN AFTER eating M&Ms yesterday and all this stress! I'm hoping to be a little below LDW before the weekend.
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

Nopar: as you can read, that's what happened to me last round and if your mind isn't in it, you shouldn't continue until you're mentally prepared or you could do more damage than good.

Johnnysangel: HOLY CRAP! congrats on the loss! So what day/phase are you on and how far away are you from your ldw? Is that your first CD after a cheat? Do you just do high protein until you get down?.. sounds like I'm sort of where you're at and I'm stuck on how to go about it.

Christy: thanks for the advice. I agree 110% sometimes ppl throw out good stuff I don't think of though so it's nice to hear my options. I guess I'm just gonna keep on correction days until I can get down?.., so would you (or anyone else who wants to chime in) say rotate with steak day, egg day, tuna day, FFF, and high protein or just stick with one?
Congrats on your weight and your plants look great. I'm sure the new pots will be gorgeous!

Hcgpro: thanks for your input. Its greatly appreciated. Sorry about the car trouble, don't know much about cars, but I know they SUCK when they don't work and it's probably the last thing you wanna spend money on!

Life - which CD works best for you? Mine is a Steak Day, but of course, I would not get -3.0 on a daily basis!! (I wish, I'd do them 2 or 3 times a week until I hit goal!)

I find rotating a CD (whichever one works great for you), a high protein day (where your carbs are BELOW 25), then a CLEAN P3 Day (where you have already CLEARED the foods you are eating) works well for just about everyone. If you have something coming up where you KNOW you'll be eating or drinking something you have NOT cleared, make sure you do your CD Day/Protein day BEFORE that - shall we call it - "Uncertain" Day - then be ready to dive right back into a CD the next day in case whatever you eat/drink causes a big gain. If it doesn't, goodie for you, you've cleared a new food with no ill effects.

    My 2 cents.

Christy: so glad you weight is the same! yahhhhh!!!! Now let's keep it there I guess it wouldn't hurt to give up the braggs and Worcestershire for a few days. I've seen other people on here say they can't have braggs because of the soy and the sodium. Wait a minute..... didn't you say you can't have Duke's Mayo because of the soy? *light bulb* You do know that braggs is Soy based, right? I don't know if that's the same case for the Worcestershire you use.

no_par: sorry about the failed p2 start, but I think it's good that you figured it out so quickly. If your not ready for p2 it's so not worth it.

Johnny: glad to see your down so much. I went down some myself, but it still ain't enough.

Pro: Rant away! I mean that is realllllly frustrating to have all that done on the car and still to be acting that way. I hate when your told well it could be this and could that, but we don't know until we replace it all, and then find out oh well it really is something else. It's like so you plan on reimbursing me for all that unneeded stuff?

lifechanger: I've only done drops myself. According to Grammy people stabilize better with injections. If that wasn't the case for you maybe drops are the answer. Getting the dose right no matter what you take is key. Also have to decide how long a round you want to do b/c that might help you decide which direction to go in as well.

smiley: I've never forgot a dose myself so I'm not sure what I do. I would probably take it as soon as I could, but that's just me shooting from the hip.

Down some from yesterday. Need to find the motivation to get a CD in here to try to get closer to LDW ZONE.

Lifechanger ~ thanks! I didn't cheat and that wasn't technically a CD. I just had P3 friendly Paleo baked goodies over the weekend along with too much sodium. The baked goods had honey, maple syrup and arrowroot starch in them and I'm sure that did not do my body good!

To lose the gained weight, I always go back to good P3 clean eating which was yogurt and berries for brkfast, baked chicken with a few veggies for lunch, then salad and steak for dinner. Lots of water and herbal tea all day.

I'm actually in P4 and have been for a few months, but I choose to eat P3 (grain/sugar/starch free 99% of the time. Hope that helps!

Pro ~ sorry about your car ........... hope you get things taken care of without too much $.
great on being at LDW! I think you're a hCG miracle with your weekends then back at LDW LOL

Hi Sarah ~ thanks and at least you're down some ...... right??? What about your egg CD's?? Didn't you and pro do those and have good results?

Christy ~ Thanks and I'm happy for you girl! You've really done fantastic especially with the TES playing games with you! You definitely know how to keep your head in the game. Uh Huh ~ that's right! That was great advise on the CD before you think you'll indulge a little. I try to get down before a weekend, but a CD would help even more Hmmmm never thought of that.

Sarah: Exactly! It's kind of like..."Well, bring it on in. We'll charge you $100 to look at it and if we find something we'll let you know." YEAHHHH RIGHT. I'm just going to check my fuses today. One of my side mirrors isn't working and the whole door unlocking thing is freaking me out. I'm hoping it's just a $5 fuse.

johnny: Thanks! I'm actually pretty surprised. I ate terribly because of all the stress. Normally, stress+food=gains. Maybe the stress made me lose weight this time? lol Yeah right!
