I have been pretty silent this round. about 5 weeks in...and I have been playing with meds, and then with the protocol trying to get the big fluid swings under control. I guess I just got discouraged, and with migraines, I wasn't able to log in for support, so I really started eating off plan (P3 while on hcg is NOT a good thing!) I have been back on protocol for 3 days now, but still having strong cravings. Weight is back to the lowest I've been at on this hcg journey... and I have enough hhcg to last until about the end of May, so I am gearing up for a strict finish. Still have the migraine (day 6), but it is more mild. I will head in for more treatment if it doesn't break soon.

Suizeq welcome. I'm on round 10 myself. My last 3 rounds have just been me re-lossing the same 20/30 lbs I pick up through out the year when I start slacking on my eating choices.

Tanya, we are in the same boat! We are also around the same numbers too. I'm sitting at 152 right now (again) and my goal is 145. I don't see getting there at this point with less then a week left of drops. However, if I could just get under 150 this round I would be happy with that too.

I've gotten to about 142-146 a couple of times and try to maintain that with doing a low carb approach, but as soon as I start falling off the low carb wagon I just POP up. That's why I'm keep having to do a maintenance round almost yearly. :/ I just don't know if my body can maintain in the 140's, but again I don't know if I'm going about it right. I generally do great in P3, but never really do a successful P4 because I get scared.

t1ghtwad, sorry thing have been so rough for you. I hope your on the upswing now. I got a nasty cold myself right now and have been bouncing up and down in weight for 5 days now.

Good Morning Folks! I am back again. :-) I changed jobs in November/December and with the new job came stress I hadn't had before! So between winter comfort food and stress eating I gained back the 40 I had lost 2 years ago plus a couple extra. So today is VLCD 1. I would like to do the short round of 15 days and take the 15 day break (have to break will be traveling for memorial day weekend) and then hop back on for 2 long rounds. I would like to get to 198 with these three rounds.

Good morning Erlyna and welcome back.
Ronnie sorry about the migraines! Never had them but have friends
That do. Hope you get it all figured out.

Sarah, i lost 20+ my first round in 2011. Stayed at 135 for 2 years. Ive been battling ever since.
I cannot lose weight now unless i do the hcg. Very frustrating.
Im on day 6 of 151. I really really want to get under 149, but not sure if its going to happen. My longest stall was 7 days. But, i cant really call this a stall as ive moved .2 a couple times. I generally lose 8-13 on short round.

Hey t1ghtwad! Glad you're getting back on track and hope you feel better.

SarahSmiles -- You sound like me. As soon as I get back on carbs, I gain weight so easily. Feels a little unfair at times. I just found out my blood type and looked up the diet for my blood type. Turns out complex carbs are on my list of food to avoid. I worry about going through what you're going through when I do reach my ideal weight. I sometimes wonder if I'll need to lose an extra 5 or 10 pounds to give myself a little room. But who knows. I just can't wait to get to my ideal weight.

Erlyna -- Welcome back, love! Looks like we're trying to lose the same amount of weight. Wishing you a wonderful weight loss journey, love.

Tanya -- Are you pushing out of that stall of yours?

I woke up this morning at a standstill, since yesterday was my skip day. I was disappointed, of course, mostly because I lost 1.6 lbs. the day after my skip day last week. I also wonder if what I ate had anything to do with it. I had extra lean 99% fat free ground turkey instead of beef. (I know turkey is off protocol, but I prefer it over beef.) It's the first time I've had it on this round, so it's hard to tell. I've decided that on days that I have standstills, stalls, or weight gain, I'm going to stick with whitefish, cabbage, and grapefruit, in hopes that my weight will begin declining again the next day. We'll see how it goes tomorrow morning.

    Hello Lovelies!

Welcome to all the newbies & returnees! I'm also one that returned to this diet after years. So thankful for it!

Pro, thank you for the cauliflower fries idea! Your meal plans sound so good and fun! How was your pizza? We really need a best recipes list in one place. If you get a chance to post recipes, I would love to try them when I get to p3. I hope you have a great trip and the patches work!

Tanya congrats on breaking the stall and fitting into smaller sizes!

VLCD 43 and 195. I've been stalled or barely creeping for the second half of this round and been looking over what might be causing the sloooow losses. I recently switched to moisturizing oil shampoo and applying hair oils again. It is great for my hair, but may be slowing down losses. I wore gloves at first then switched to just washing my hands quickly, but some of the oil is getting on my neck and now it's on my scalp from the shampoo. I'm being more careful with the oils now-wearing gloves and not putting it on my hair without protecting my skin. I definitely stall from lotions & lipstick so this is the only thing I can think of besides the fact that I am at the lowest weight I've been since my 20's. I might just lose much slower from here on. My weight loss is averaging out a perfect .5 lb per day as always; so it's working even if it doesn't seem like it. I still have more drops so will go until they run out in a week or so. I was hoping to get down to 190 this round, but I'm so happy to be under 200 now! I still have a lot to lose and at the same time I feel so much better about myself already. And feel so much better which is the best part! Here's to our health Lovelies!! Keep going! You are worth it!

My family is all eating dairy queen. i am so sad. Daughter came over with grandaughter, helping to
set up for our garage sale this weekend.
This is the slowest i have ever seen this forum!! ihope its because every one is doing well. There were
times i'd get on here and we'd have 3 new pages of forum to read!! all the regular members that were
here for years are nowhere!! i've noticed the other forums are way down on posts as well. maybe people
just arent following this diet anymore.
Beachy i do remember you from before. you had a differant name though, before. I think!!
    Well, goodnight and happy losses!!

    Hello Lovlies! Happy Friday! YAY!

Just wanted to pop on and say hey. I'm still here, but in P4 now and not much new to report. I still read the posts almost every day and enjoy seeing everyone's progress. I do miss Christy and Pearly and the other regulars, but understand that there is life outside of hcg too

To those of you in P2 - I'm wishing you a lovely losing weekend and week ahead. Hang in there. You can do it!

URGH! Up 6 pounds of fluid overnight again after a 13 hour workday yesterday! My poor body just cannot handle what I have to put it through to survive financially! I had the option of taking 3 weeks off (unpaid) while the parents are in transition, or watching the kids at their grandparents (with the grands in and out all day), and I had to say no, because hubby just lost his job suddenly, and I can't say no to the money. So, I will persist. I have to say though, it is hard to continue when over 30 days I have lost only 8 pounds. Usually, I lose 30+ over 40-50 days...

I just requested a 12 pack of the hhcg bottles from my supplier. He sells them for about $180, but I requested them at $150 + shipping as he offered them to me for that price in January. Hopefully he will say yes, as I want to purchase them while we still have the funds. I know we won't be able to buy hhcg later, and I CAN'T lose weight without it. Still have a LOT of weight to lose!!
