I woke up with a cold today, so only down .2. I'll take it!! I looked back through my logs and think I've live in the land of delsussion/denial for the past 9 months. I don't know what got into me but seriously! I need to get back into the 30s, that were 10 pounds over goal! Simple as that. I know a big, huge, Simeon's reason for that....I quit weighing because I KNEW I was gaining and didn't want to face it so quit weighing altogether. Bad move!!

I'm on the right path now, finally, hopefully forever!!

I'm spacey and feel like I'm swimming in jello today. Hopefully, I'll be better tomorrow.

    Katt: feel better!
Sloppy joes...I haven't made that in years!!! I could throw in fries too. Easy peasy!

So...TOM is here and while my appetite is gone the need for sweet is not so I decided 2.0 constructed by a man has no idea of the struggle with TOM...I gave up and had raisins. Screw it...I mean, Sure it is fruit and a sweet one at that...but in these times when one must decide between anger of TOM and sweet abyss...raisins win. Beside I don't even get tempted for the last bit of brownies when I have my raisins.

I think I have decided to extend my round even more...let's call it a test in how well one stabilizes after say 70+ days...and more likely closer to 100.

My original plan of 60 takes me to end of April...if I go a month longer... End of may. No biggie.

I am Interested to see the cellulite changes. After my first round and winging it... ( 4 months long) I had almost no cellulite on my legs...I am curious if it was because of the super extended round. I also stabilized very well and for 2 years mostly 116-118. Of course that was 4 years ago and if I think it is not being effective I will just go to p3.

I am already at 32 days...

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you all had a nice Easter.
I had a very nice one...so nice, in fact, that I totally cheated - like most of the day. I'm so mad at myself. I'm a 5th round HCG-er and I know better. So...as of Saturday, VLCD6, I was down 8 pounds! So good. But today, VLCD9, I've gained 2 back. I know I shouldn't complain because that's still a 6 pound loss in 9 days. But I'm just kicking myself. And the juice wasn't even worth the squeeze. I didn't really cheat on anything fun. It was dumb stuff. Just hard to have all of your family over and cook and bake for everyone and not eat it.

But, I'm back at it. Had a one-on-one with myself and I got my head in the game.

This group is so good to be part of. I know I'm a late-comer, but it's so good to hear everyone's journeys and know you're not alone.

Quick question - and this is probably so basic, but I've read conflicting things: Beef jerky on P2? Turkey sausage on P2?
    That was 2 questions. Sorry.
    What do you guys think?

Katt: I did the same thing over Christmas. I was weighing weekly but didn't take my scale with me to the other house. Big mistake!!!! Lol. I did maintain my heavier weight very well!

I am going to have to do a second round. I am day 3 of a cold it came out of nowhere! Feel better soon!

Brick: I don't know how you can go that long! Good for you.

What about Chili? It's good for a crowd. I like doing pulled port too with coleslaw. I

Shar: cheats happen all we can do is forgive ourselves and move on!

sheesh! ya'll have been super chatty!! nothing wrong with that!!
dinner is always a ? for my family. we all eat different. well, there only 3 of us here now. out of 7.
I have a whole pinterest board, just for p3 foods and then one that is totally clean eating. I am loving
my sweet potato!! So happy to have that!! I have been craving peanut butter all day!! But, I want it on
bread. I have ezekial bread in the freezer but thinking to wait for that next week. Today is p3d11.

I spent my morning in the Dodge dealership getting my tranny serviced/oil change. after 2 hours I called
my son Hunter to take me home. I am glad I did! another 3 1/2 hours they call to say its done. they couldn't
figure out what a ticking noise was and I said my son thought it was the lifters. sure enough it was. This car is 3 years old.
really? They decided my son needs to work there and they would pay for him to go to school!! as a service guy!! of course,
He was out on a motor cycle ride ( I hate it) so I haven't been able to tell him yet! it would be so cool for him!

you guys have made me miss all my pets that have moved on to animal heaven!! including my goats!!

Janeen, never a perfect time for dieting. no matter what program a person does.

Brick, I'm 52 never had a mammogram. oops! no cancers in our family either.
well, since I got home from getting car back I've been working my patooty off in my garden. just ate as I
sat here, so heading back out to finish what I can till dark.
this next week in another antique/vintage event so today was my play day and now back to work.

I see a general similarity that everyone struggles with the creep. I wish it was too many calories for me, but it just can't be because I can eat a TON and not gain, as long as it's P3 food. But the starches, I have a little and it gives a big 3 lb gain and I can't get it off. That's the weird part. Why won't it come back down. It's not like this weight I'm at is something special I've been at before for long amts of time. I have spent most of my life at 133 so why can't I just naturally go to that, right?? lol.

I feel ya all on the pet loss. I lost my ever faithful kitty of 10 years back in 2013, I still miss him terribly. I was thinking today about how he loved to ride on my lap in the car. We started taking him into the pet store with us too, he loved it! Such a funny guy.

AFM: No change in the scale today. I did workout, strength training, going to minimize cardio for now. I'm wondering if building muscle mass and decreasing fat will help with the gaining. I used to be 21% body fat and now I'm around 33%. First time I did hcg years ago I had been working out everyday for a year and then did the protocol. Lost 30 lbs in about 4 months and kept it off for a good couple of years, and I ate whatever I wanted in that time frame, but I think I was working out, doing hot yoga several times a week. Since starting grad school I quit that the last 2 years in lieu of studying all the time. I'd love to lose the 6-7 lb creep up; my new motto is be realistic but expect miracles, SO, never know. I'm using an app called 8fit. I like it so far.

I accidently didn't eat all day. Worked on relisting our house for sale and worked on some legal document stuff. I also didn't drink any water all day, whoops!

Oh, haha, I wrote this earlier and thought I lost it all when my ethernet unplugged (computer engineer hubby didn't want to bother to fix, but he did TONIGHT!! grrrr).
