    Hi all!
Been a few since I checked in.
It has been going great though! I am on day 25 of VLCD and I am down 35 lbs! I know my losses are more because I have more to lose than the average bear.. but I sure will take them!
Been doing well staying close to protocol. I am mixing veggies but I find it helps me a lot staying digestively regular, if you know what I mean
I have even been finding some yummy HCG recipes. I love ground chicken chilli and even made a yummy ground chicken mole. Another go to yummy is talapia ceviche... yummm. I am starting to dream of P3... really missing avocados.
I hope you all are having a terrific start to your Spring! Here in Merida there is only two seasons Spring and Summer.. Spring is during most of your winter and now is Summer. Pretty warm already! Will be nice next heat wave to face it without all the weight.. not to mention going back to the beach feeling less body conscious!

Well off to start my week!

    All have a lovely day!

    Happy Monday everyone!
We have had bright sun for 3 days in a row (a rarity sometimes) with blue blue skies. Still cold but nice.
I'm on day 26 and am down 12 lbs, which is great for me. I've been stalled for a few days and am going to do a steak day today (I know it's supposed to be an apple day at this point but I have steak in the house and no apples so steak day it is!
Got my dad's place all cleaned out with everything sold or given away except for his golf clubs (sitting in my living room) and his car (in my sister's driveway), which hopefully will sell soon.

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Finally happy to be back in the USA. I did a PI while away and good news I stayed within my 2 pound window. This gives me hope for a better P3. I am back in P2 today, dealing with jet lag....I hate jet lag.

    I will read back.

A useful tip that I think helped me: Grammy suggested I take a supplement for Adrenal Health, since my thyroid with Hashimotos varies and messes me up in P3. Lots of thyroid issue people have underlying Adrenal issues. I have been taking this supplement for over 2 weeks now. I have so much more energy and feel calmer too. I got it on Amazon, it seems to really help me. Maybe everyone already knows about this, and apologies if it’s old news. I just pass along anything I think might help in the battle! Thank you Lovelies for always passing on your tips!

    Have a great Monday!

    P3 - Week 6.

    Hello Lovelies Ė

    Yes, good old Monday morning.

    Monday morning and my computer.jpg

All the T-Rexes are back from their trip, but at least Boss T-Rex seems to be in a great mood. The overseas event was an astounding success and he has a golf tournament coming up next week, so Iím sure that has something to do with it.

    T-Rex golf.jpg

AFM Ė Weighed in yesterday morning at 171.4. EXACTLY what it was the Monday before that. AT least it didnít go up.

We worked on the house & in the yard for 6 hours yesterday and Iím sore EVERYWHERE today, so I did not weigh in this morning. Will wait for the muscle soreness to subside some. I know I did NOT get my water in yesterday, because we were so busy, BUT now all the flower beds need is new mulch and a few new color plantings. All the other plants are healthy and made it just fine through the winter. We lost one Aleppo pine, and I havenít decided what to replace it with, but mostly we are DONE for spring and summer.

Must get to work, but Iíll check posts bit by bit today and get caught up.

    Hugs.

I take this one and I get it on Amazon (smile.amazon.com) : https://healthsharmony.com/products/...-support#modal

Grammy recommended this one, but it was out of stock when I ordered, and the one I ordered seems similar (and less expensive):

Thanks! I always think something is more legit when it comes 60 capsules to a bottle, and you take one a day. Sometimes stuff comes in 180 capsules and then you take 3 3x a day...and I'm like WHOT? So this looks good. My sister is looking for something, too, so we may split a bottle the first time. P

Let me know what you think and how it works for you! They say it takes a few weeks to notice a change, but I felt better after a week.

I also take a B complex called “B-Right” by Jarrow and a sublingual B-12. The more expensive supplement had more B vitamins I think, but I already get those... Do you take a B complex? I think B vitamins help, but this Adrenal supplement has made a dramatic difference for me.

Well, good news is I am all signed up for Medicare et al. Bad news is that now that I am in a 'network', in order to see my OBGYN NP, I have to be referred by a primary care doctor. I have not had a PC for years, as, let's face it, at my age, 95% of my problems are OBGYN related. So, I had to pick someone out of a hat and they have to 'see' me in order to refer me. I have to go to a stranger for 20 minutes in order to go see the dr I've been going to for five years. Sigh. Don't you love bureaucracy? So, had to cancel my annual check up April 6th, cuz can't get in to the PC until the first of May.

How is this meaningful? Well, it is probably good news, actually. Now I don't have to worry about having hcg in my system when I want to have blood tests done, as my annual will be set back until probably June.

So, that means as soon as my hcg comes (and it should be here any second now) I can start my round instead of waiting. Which is very good news because I weigh a whopping >>>>> 141<<<< as of yesterday. YIKES!!!!! Yes, I was at 128 just a few weeks ago. I am spectacular at GAINING weight. Hope I can be even half as good at losing this time.

I know, I have no right to complain, as I have not been here, either! I suspect things will start hopping around here after Easter! P

Hi Pearly - I've been reading and following along, but mostly posting on Leez's February thread. So sorry you're struggling with stabilizing and the silly medical "system". DH is on Medicare too. He hurt his back a couple of months ago and was in serious pain. Couldn't get an appointment with his PC for THREE WEEKS! Sorry bubba, I am in pain NOW, not 3 weeks from now! Ended up having to take him to Prompt Care (which is anything BUT prompt) to get him some relief and get the ball rolling. Long story short... He is scheduled for an outpatient procedure on Friday to correct the problem and on the road to recovery, but only because we were calling the PC's office EVERY DAY until they did all the proper referral paperwork. Geez, it's like herding cats to get some people to do their job!

RK - Thanks for posting the Adrenal support info. I ordered some too as I am under a LOT of stress right now from work (accounting) and then topping it off with the DH back situation. Results = eczema on my face and behind my ears. Very ugly and uncomfortable. I figured the Adrenal support can't hurt and hoping it will help

AFM: Just finished R4. Another 5 lb round. I was pretty much stalled for the last 2 weeks of the round. So frustrating, but hoping the stall helps with stabilization. Inflammation from the eczema could have been a factor too, plus the olive oil in the cream I am using to treat it. Anyway, P3D2 today and happily eating bacon and all kinds of other goodies!

Hope everyone else is doing well!

So glad to have found this. Posted this in February before I found the March thread. Oops.

I have a question on macronutrients. I found in one place where is said 50-60 grams of protein is good but it didn't clarify on the carbs (net) or fat grams. I ask because I'm on a mostly vegetarian kick and I'm trying to track calories, protein, carbs and fat to somewhat mimic the normal Dr. S diet. I'm doing more protein shakes and eggs. Very tough. Would anyone know what the numbers should be for P2?

I lost 10 pounds on the first round (that I had to cut short because I got the flu) but I'm now starting the second round (day 5 and lost 3 lbs) but I want to keep the momentum going.

    Any advice is always appreciated!

    Thank you
