Christy, I'm still in P3. Although, Saturday would be my last "official" day of P3. I've only had the two days over LDW and that was last weekend bc of the drinking. I've gone over some here and there and I've gone under too. I've also been planning to start another round the 1st week of April. I'm okay with where I'm at but I would like another 15 off to get me down more for the summer, more room in the jeans, and just not so close to numbers that freak me out. That would put me in the low 140's. I've been able to get there once, but I've never been able to maintain that more then 6-8 months. I'm just not sure I really can, but I think I want to try again.

gwenna, I always show a gain a day or two before TOM and then I lose that and sometimes plus some once TOM shows. *shrugs*

meridb, I'm so happy to hear of your "small" success. PUN intended. Your rocking it.

jeepy, thinking of your and your family *hugs*

AFM, a smidge up from yesterday. My guess would be too much salt or possibly inflammation from doing a lot of squatting between work and cleaning the house. I feel some sore muscles. I just hate when I get over LDW all if I know I'm going try and enjoy and adult beverages over the weekend. It just always seems like a fight for everything. Sometimes I feel like losing is the easy part and maintaining is way harder.

    TGIF ALL!

Christy, I think you need a raise! Sounds like your boss(es) are taking advantage of your great work ethic and you need to be rewarded for that. Geez, if you don't even have time to post on the forum, something is really wrong

I've been in that situation in the past. Asked my boss why she kept giving every new project to me. She says, because I know you'll get it done and done right. I said, then, I need to be compensated for that effort, don't you think? I got a raise...

Hello everyone! Welcome all new people - sounds like you are all doing well! Congrats. To those struggling to maintain. One day at a time...

Merideb - I can relate to fitting into smaller spaces! Also, how my clothes fit is better than any measuring tape. I'd rather say "I went from a size 16 to a size 6" than rattle off a bunch of numbers. Most people can relate pretty well to clothing sizes. One of my NSV moments (non-scale victory) was when I could reach the latch on window over our kitchen sink. No, I didn't get any taller, but there was less belly in the way, so I was standing closer I smile every time I open or close that window... Congrats on your stellar losses as well!

Shmeans - Hi there! Your posts are always so supportive and positive. Thank you.

Leetl - 44 baby lambs - just wow! How do you get any sleep/rest? Congrats on your losses.

Jeri - Welcome back. Glad you survived your social weekend so well. Having a plan on how to eat really does help. I'm glad you asked all the smart Lovelies here.

Tight - Glad you are feeling better. That sounded awful. Being sick is bad enough, without involving "dieting". I know you're maintaining, but just remember when you see "up" numbers on the scale that it was a false low due to the nausea and such.

Sarah - I hope you get P3 all figured out soon. I hear you about having a bit of a cushion at your goal weight. I would like that too.

Sunshine - Put.the.glass.of.wine.down JK. I like me my wine too. And P3 is still 12 days away... We can do anything for 12 days, right?

Deni - Looks like you're having some good losses in spite of everything. So sorry about your dad.

Carol - Your back pain sounds just horrible. Glad you found a doc who will listen to you and treat you properly. So important! Congrats on your losses with 3.0. I am scared to death to try anything besides OP - and I barely lose on that...

gwenna - Good job turning down the chocolate. Yes, deep breaths always help. Great attitude about not jeopardizing 5 lbs for the week. I love it!

Christy - I hate exercise too. Walking is fine, but just standing on a machine (or sitting, or whatever) has never been my favorite. Really looking forward to summer as now that I am more of a "normal" weight, I want to try to waterski again. I've missed it!

    Tracy - Hi there!

Kar - I hope P4 goes better for you! When I'm in P4, I pretty much stick to mostly P3 and just have a "treat" (starch) once a week or 10 days. I'm talking about 1 slice of sourdough bread (half a sandwich) or breadcrumbs in the crab stuffed mushrooms at our favorite restaurant. Never two in one week and generally not more that 3 in a month. Even though I know I can eat sweet potatoes just fine, again, only once a week. Sugar/sweets = never. I'm afraid it would trigger the carb monster, and also KNOW for a fact that even a little bit upsets my stomach (TMI). ((Hugs to you))

If I missed anyone - so sorry. It was a long list, whew! I guess that's what I get for only posting on the February thread

AFM: R4P2D29 - stayed the same this morning at 132.1, so overall down -4.9 in 29 days! YIKES! I have bounced around that number for 13 days now. Not fun at all! And I have not managed to get below my LDW in October, so doubly frustrating. I did manage to hit my hip/leg pretty hard the other day, and I know there is inflammation still. I will be ending this round on Day 39, so 10 dose days left. Fingers crossed, I'm hoping that once the inflammation goes down I will sail right on down to the 120s. A girl can dream...

Happy TGIF everyone and hoping everyone has fun St Patty's day and great weekend!

Hi Everyone! Sorry have not had the chance to visit. This week has been super hectic at work.

I am so sorry, do not remember all I read but man, @Merideb, YOU ARE SO ROCKING THIS!!!! WOW!!! Sorry you fell but I am so glad you are feeling better about it now, and of course, WooooHOoooo!!!! Yesss!!!! Fitting in that tiny space?! YESSS!!! Again, YOU ARE ROCKING THIS!

@Shmeans, I was not hospitalized, but I did go to the ER. And after I don't know how much $$$ that will cost me, it did send me in the right direction.

@Christy, girl...I take my hat off to you and I will shut my mouth about my hectic job... But I have the feeling you love it so, add Survey Monkey to your performance review this year!

AFM, went to the chiropractor again yesterday and then took off to Arkansas to be with our oldest daughter, grandkiddo, and to a friend's bday. Yes, when I told the Dr I was going to take a 5 hr car ride he was not happy...(me neither). He gave me pointers on how to lean, and try to relax during the trip and I did survive. Of course with the assistance of the wonderful frozen pad thing on my back, pillows and pills in my body.

I worked a few hours this morning and then off for the rest of the weekend. Yay! On Tuesday, I think I woke up to a -2 I think it was, then the next day to a +.6 (wtheck?) but I knew it was the inflammation. Ate the very same thing, did the very same hours for IF, turned into OMAD and BAM! yesterday morning -2.6 and finally at 235 again, YESSSSS!!!! I am trying to be super, extra, mega careful this weekend cause I know weekends are my most dangerous times, specially when I am away from home and we have a get together... ****people need to either not invite us to anything or better, NOT do anything or at least WITH.NO.FOOD!!!!**** hahahahaha! If it would only be so dang easy.... Oh well....

So far today, got my injection, then mid morning, my earl grey tea with sweetener and almond creamer and still, not hungry so I feel good. I know in about an hour we are all going out for dinner so we'll see. Already told them I would be in the mood for a steak or something like that so I hope it happens and we do not end up at a mexican restaurant. We all love mexican, but those dang chips and salsa are stronger than my will power so I rather avoid them...

So lovely losers, there it is. So sorry I was not able to do all personals, hard to catch up when I skip several days. Congrats to all the losers, hugs to all who are struggling and hope all have an amazing weekend!

Happy to say that today was a good day! Still have the head cold symptoms, but my tummy is back to normal. Trying to not overcompensate for not eating for a week (lol), but everything looks SO good right now!

Commuted to the city with hubby today, and instead of nannying, I did a "move-out" cleaning on the kitchen and laundry room of the family's house. Also washed all the interior windows, including trim and tracks. 8 hours, and I only stopped twice for 15 minutes to eat and take my meds. Definitely going to feel it tomorrow, as I am already really hurting tonight; but I am absolutely gaining muscle in my arms and I was up and down the 3 steps on the ladder so many times today, that had to help tone my legs a bit... They are listing their house early next week, so if they need more help on Monday morning, they will let me know this weekend. I have to go down for a follow-up with the doctor, so if I can work a 1/2 day first, I'm all for it. Especially since I probably will not be working for them again until they buy another home and get moved in...

We went shopping tonight to restock the empty fridge, and I did really good at Costco. They had corned beef samples, and I did try it without reading the package, but I turned down everything else. I even skipped dinner, because I ate a few blueberries and some romaine spears on the way there, and was still not hungry at 10pm... I now have plenty of P3 food, and I think I will continue eating P3 a week into P4 due to the week I was sick. I'll still start R2 April 7th (loading the 5th and 6th) as I have an event I am timing the end of the round for... Expecting a gain on the scale (back to LDW), especially with inflammation/fluid retention, and will not let it bother me!)

    Happy weekend to all!!

Hope everyone is doing well! Glad it's the weekend. My son isn't feeling well this morning so I think we will be staying home. I was happy to be down another pound this morning. I am glad this is working, and am expecting a plateau at some point. I haven't been that hungry but can tell when it's time to eat.

    Happy St Patrick's day.

Down again this morning. It is so nice that this is working!

I hope everyone is doing well. I really wish winter would end. I am so tired of the cold and snow. I want to get out for walks but it is just too cold.

So I am down 23 lbs now! Yesterday I felt pretty darn good! A lot more energy.
My son left with the hubby to do their bonding before he gets on the plane today in Cancun. That was a bummer, but happy to say I didn't eat away my blues (which normally I would have).
ALSO, the darn sweet child left a half eaten bag of potato chips on the kitchen counter. I eyeball them every time a go in the kitchen. But I am using them to prove to myself that I can do this. Last night I woke up with a hunger pang.. I got up for more water and those evil little crispy no-nos were whispering to me.. but instead I grabbed a piece of celery and went back to bed. I took an extra benadryl and conked out.. no worries of allergies today! hehe

Wishing you all a wonderful day!!

Happy day after St Patrick's day everyone! A cold but sunny weekend here so it lifts my spirits. We got dad's place all cleaned out, sold and gave away everything we didn't want (we didn't want hardly anything since our parents gave us family stuff all the time). I've gotten all caught up on tv shows and laundry, did some cooking for the week, now I'm off to one of my favorite stores, Dollar Tree. Tonight I'm going to a friend's house for Happy Hour. She's 93 so I almost never turn her down. I will have 1 cocktail and some veggies.
Down 11.4 lbs in 18 days. I'm loving this round. I've never been hungry or weak or any more irritable than usual. I do have a craving once in awhile but not overly bad. I don't know if it's the brand I used this time or what, but it's been quite nice this time, even with a few days of over the top stress.

    P3 - Week 5

    Hello Lovelies ~

    And so it begins . . . .

    Monday morning and my computer.jpg

With St. Jim back at home, it was a super busy weekend. It took us all of Friday and Saturday just to get caught up with each other (did I ever mention, he and I can talk for hours, just the 2 of us, while we consume BPC by the potful).

Saturday was also filled with 1 hour of exercise ( walking outside with daughter – YES! She has lost 15 pounds on her own terms and has cut sugar out of her life! So Happy!! Sugar is her evil nemesis), the 4 hours of gaming – she and Jim are such board game or card game nuts. He went to work, we played one more game, then she and her hound doggy went home before the T-storms hit.

Her hubby doesn’t get home until 8 or 9 pm; mine goes to work around 5pm. Jenn and I work Mon-Fri, 9 to 6. We live extremely varied lives. If there are any crooks watching our house for a chance to rob it, I’ll bet they gave up a long time ago.

AFM – 171.6 this morning. Hey, at least it went DOWN and it wasn’t 172!

With the added stress of learning an entire new enormous responsibility at work, I’ve just got to postpone that next P2.

SO, New Plan (there always is one!) Instead of trying to fast until 2pm every day (with only BPC & then a very light lunch, then I eat far too much at night) I’m going to try & flip that. I’m going to have BPC as usual, a moderate lunch and a VERY light evening meal IF I HAVE ANYTHING AT ALL. I’m also going to go for the extra 30 minute of some sort of activity every day, and see if I can get in 5,000 steps a day this week and see how much difference that makes.

    LinLou – 5 pounds in 29 days of P2?

    Charlie Brown AARRGH!!!.jpg

I had ONE P2 that was THAT BAD and I quit after 20 days. You have more willpower than me.

Sarah – if you feel sore muscles, you’ve got inflammation for sure, which always = higher weight on scale for sure. But good for you on the exercise!

LinLou & Carol – thanks for the kind words about my job. I am feeling quite stressed and overwhelmed still, BUT if I can make this work, and learn all I need to learn, currently NO ONE ELSE DOES THIS IN OUR COMPANY. It is also something I could work on from home, should I need to. As I consider the future, and with our planning for Jim to retire in 3 years, I’m trying so hard to gently direct myself to tasks that I can work on from a home office, so I’m not spending 5 days a week in the office while he is at home.

I know that means I have to take on tasks I’ve never dreamt of doing, but when I prayed to God to send things like that my way, I didn’t specify “easy things” – HA!!!

Just like I prayed and prayed for a way for me to lose weight. He sent me one – HCG + Keto and this beyond amazing and outstanding Forum.

I also forgot to ask for an “easy way” on that one, too!! Keep up the GREAT work Lovelies - YOU ARE WORTH IT.

    >>>peaking in again<<<

Hey! Just have had a minute to read back to Friday. Apologies, but that's all I can handle today. Looks like I am not the only one who has kind of been on hiatus a bit. Sending get well wishes to those out with sicknesses and injuries, sending soothing thoughts to those with stress from work and home life, safe crossings to those traveling. Whew. And congrats and big Kudos to those losing or maintaining well! Woohoo!

Sounds like after the first week of April is the goal for a lot of us. I did not want to do a round in April, but my stuff still hasn't arrived, and it is getting too late to get a round in before my annual physical April 6th. I will just have to go in at this higher weight and hope it does not effect my blood test numbers tooo tooo tooo much. IDK. Do blood tests register Krispy Kreme content?

I have added a water fit class and a water tai chi class to my week. Both over the lunch hour. You know that little dip at the bottom of the learning curve, where it goes DOWN before it goes up? That's where I am. Way way way down at the bottom of that little dip.

I am so out of shape, that even though I am taking these classes at a therapy pool where most of the folks are working on recovering from injuries or are grossly overweight or very, very (very!) old, and this is not exactly Boot Camp for Seal Team Six, it has kicked my BUT She's Nice big time. I did one class two weeks ago, and moaned and groaned for three days. I took both classes last week and was so tired by Friday (and sore. And stiff) I was in tears on my drive home Friday night.

I went to bed at 9 and slept until 10 the next day, and then zombie watched Hallmark Movies all day. Partly because I was too out of it change the channel. I slept late yesterday, too, but got two casseroles made and delivered to my sister's family, washed bedding, gave dogs a bath, and worked 6 hours on writing articles for an annual report. I have worked every night until midnight except Friday and Saturday for the past two weeks and I am exhausted. Thought I would be rested up after the weekend, but ended up working until almost 2 a.m.(had scheduled myself to work until 11, but had to do a rewrite from scratch after my client sent a whole new list of stuff to include that I had NEVER even HEARD OF before, after I already had spent two sessions of writing it 3 hours each!) and now I am right back to feeling like a wet noodle.

    gripe. complain. grumble.

Christy, I used to do Survey Monkey stuff! That was 4-5 years ago, tho, so it has surely changed a lot. But good for you for adding it to your list of Awesome Accomplishments!

well, back to work. I am seriously considering borrowing a key to one of our bed and breakfast rooms and taking a nap over lunch.

Lots of reading to catch up on, I have been on the go, working so much since last Wednesday with not much down time and an injured dog to deal with during down time (she will have to go in for surgery most likely this week, please keep us in your prayers).

So just a quick update and then will try to read tonight and catch up.

I am on D22 of 2.0, doing injections. It is going very well. I am able to hide it for the most part, and I am enjoying it. I am in a routine of what I eat and so far so good. I am down 17.8lbs for an average of .81 a day.

Wishing everyone well and that you lose, stabilize and hang in there with whatever life is throwing your way.

    Hugs!!!!!
