Thread: Lovely Losers are Overcoming Obstacles in October

  1. #313
That's a good mindset to have! If only I had it...lol I just always consider the whole day ruined and it's so much easier to cheat after the first time

I weighed myself today, which I shouldn't have done. I'm only down 1.0 since Monday. I think one of the culprits is not having any "movements". Before yesterday it had been about a week. I drank a little smooth move this morning so hopefully that'll help but I've been taking a probiotic too and it hasn't helped at all. I'm taking twice the recommended dose even. I guess I'm still somewhat losing about 0.5/day but it's so frustrating when it's slow like this. I'll see where I'm at on Monday and determine if I'll do the full week next week or just go through Wednesday maybe. I'd like to be under 130 but my stomach area is actually smaller right now (by 1/2") than when I weighed 132.0. I guess that makes somewhat of a difference. I also need to get back in the gym in P3. Maybe that'll help my mood out.

Lovely Losers are Overcoming Obstacles in October

Bln: No, but search under the search area in the forum. There may be an old post that pops up.

Pro: Don't let TES dictate your mood. Keep plugging along like you have been doing. Inches are better!!! Like Christie, I take magnesium every night and rarely have issues. I find it better than smooth move. I also find an apple a day helps if you are not on 2.0. Also I try to do one meal with cooked veg and one without but lately I have been into soups.

Christie: Hope you are enjoying your stayvaca!

    Janeen: Tes treating you better?

No TES. We're now on our trip -- in Springfield, MO for volleyball nationals. Getting here was quite the ordeal -- rear differential in our truck blew out in Muskogee, OK, so we were stuck there for 4-5 hours. Finally left in s new truck, got to hotel almost midnight, and Little's asthma had kicked in, so she still needed a breathing treatment. But, you know what else? I FORGOT MY DROPS!!!!! I was going to load Sat - Mon. Nope. Now the earliest I can load is Mon-Tues. so much for all that good planning. Lovely Losers are Overcoming Obstacles in October

I might be able to extend my round a bit, though. Big's banquet is the night of my retreat, so I won't be retreating quite so much. I might be able to keep going a few days longer. I'll have to see. But first, I have to start.

When adding new buttons, we need a BREATHE button.

Take a deep one, all! You are all doing great because you are here and working on your health! I've said it before: Nobody put the weight on in 21 days, nobody developed their original eating habits overnight. Your goal weight will come. You will get there. Meanwhile, you are doing better now than you were, so keep in mind that success! There is no one and done and there is no deadline. We all know that, we just get impatient, I know.

Janeen, I feel your pain on forgetting to bring the drops. I know you do not like where you currently are, (weight wise, not because you are in Oklahoma!) but boy howdy, before you started this journey, you would have written a check the size of a car to be where you are now. This is just another step on the way and two days in the scheme of things... well, I know YOU know that it is just static. The Devil is just messing with you!

So glad everyone is just humming along, working things out, learning. What a great place to be! I know, it seems it might be better to just Get There, but honestly, for me, every time I do hcg, like Sheila says, I learn something else. I get a little better at it and at applying what I have learned to other things in my life. (at this rate, I'll be getting my hcg PhD soon....!) And like Pro, I am leaner at the same weight! Now there is incentive not to stress over this so overly much!

AFM, only got 4 1/2 of sleep last night---wrote a kick *** news release but stayed up much too late finishing it plus had to wind down again after all that electrifying brain activity so could not go right to bed after I was done. So, I'm back up a pound, but I measured and I am at the exact place as my LIW, so it's just WHITE NOISE.

I talk a good talk, but I am NOT changing my ticker today. LOL

    Onward! P

I've been lurking here but reading everyone's posts. Haven't been able to sit and write.
My scale is wacked out. maybe a 8-10# loss so far. I get a different reading everytime but I can fit in my fat clothes again, so that's a plus. I went to 4 pellets 3x day and I have no hunger, another plus! sometimes I miss my second fruit. Also my pellets have b12 in them, so my night time dose keeps me awake for too long. I plan to up the time a bit.
Going into P2 week 2. planning on transitioning to P3 a couple days before Thanksgiving. good times!

Are we even getting new/old buttons?? If so, they should definitely consult this group first lol

Sunshine: I've kind of been into soup too this round but more of tomato soups. I need to try to make a chicken soup. I have the broth and chicken...maybe I'll try it out tonight! I think I said it here before but it seems like each round I do, I'm thinner (smaller) at higher weights. Like my waist is 1/2" smaller right now than I was at 132. It's only about a pound difference but still I'm happy with my progress but TES messes with my head sometimes lol

Janeen, have a good tournament. Sorry about the drops.

Rainy day and much needed but not much sleep. Lots of thunder last night.
Our temps have been dropping by 10 degrees each day and hopefully we will be back to good sleeping weather soon.

Today was measure day for Joe.... After three weeks of no change in this tummy and tush, we have change!!
A whole inch on the bottom in one week and half an inch in tummy.
    Finally!

I mean we all see his change.. His chest and arms and legs... His neck and jaw too... His clothes are getting baggier all good signs.
He has adjusted to the food well... Not complaining about hunger... But still is dreaming about cheese....

The whole thing I am hoping, will be a good lesson in how to see and consume food in a more thoughtful manner.

Does anyone know what happened to the buttons??

Brick: We're all campaigning to get the buttons back Not sure why they took them out. Maybe too many notifications? And yay for Joe! It's nice when you at least see some type of change you can measure. Good too that he's getting used to the food. For me, the longer I go the less hungry I usually am. P3 is normally easier too because you don't require as much food. How much longer is he going to do?

TMI but I've been in the bathroom for the last hour or so pretty frequently. The smooth move definitely worked and like I said it had been about a week :/ I may weigh tomorrow but also most likely on Monday. Dinner tonight will either be a hamburger with a strawberry smoothie or chicken/broccoli stir fry. Fortunately, broccoli doesn't do me any harm in P2.

    Brick: Yay for Joe.

Pro: I do tomatoes based soups too! I make almost everything into soup by adding stock or water depending what I have. Brown my meat in the pan add spice and veg and add water. Lol! I eat rather wierd on p2 but finding food is easy as it is so limited.

Miss the like button for sure!

My bro in law invited us, last minute to a fundraiser tonight. Lucky it's just stand up snacks and drinks of course, so I will stick to Perrier and eat before I go!

I take my Wellbutrin and I don't believe it has caused problems. I do forget to take it sometimes because I have a different routine during P2. You wouldn't want to just stop taking an antidepressant though for three weeks as that could end up being very difficult. I have read that people don't have a problem with aderall but I do not have any experience with that.
