Sarah, I never understood the Simeon's science behind not eating the same Protein twice a day. Maybe one of the moderators can step in and define. I always intentionally avoided beef twice a day.

Side note, I do have my story of going to a lacrosse game at M&T stadium and snuck in cucumbers and chicken in my pocketbook. Completely ruined the purse but I stayed POP!

I think it is meant to encourage balance between omega-3 and omega-6 fats. Not sure how well that was understood in the 1950s. .

I alternate fish/ shrimp/ scallops with chicken and avoid beef and pork.

It makes sense on the beef being avoided twice a day because of it's higher calorie and fat content. I even try to limit my beef to twice a week at most.

I should be able to eat my luch before we head for the stadium or even in the car, lol. Although, Camdeb Yards allows you to bring food, but Raven's Stadium is a whole other animal! At least for Raven's games, you get the complete shake down.

As far as getting bored with food, yeah that def sets in. It's more so the same veggies that bore me. Thats why I'm leaning more towards the 2.0 list and I'm less strict on mixing veggies these days too.

AFM, I don't think I drank enough water yesterday and I'm only down .4lbs today.

GZ, thanks for that info. I agree with you, too. how he could make such definitive determinations without understanding the science that we do today.
I think my favorite conversations on this forum are when the nutritionists chime in, I am fascinated by that stuff.
Sarah enjoy your day at the stadium!

I eat the same protein twice in one day on HCG, and I also eat fat free greek yogurt some days. I start having food aversions in P2, so my food list gets pretty small.

I am hitting the stage of P3, week 3, when I have to start eating less food. This seems to happen every round now, and it's ok. Back to more normal eating for me.

I ate miracle noodles last night I was so bored....durp....stall. Oh well, once they clear my system I should lose what they are holding on to. Of course, I normally stall after 10 pounds, so who knows. Back to cucumbers and fish. Ack!
    Here we go again.
