    CALLING ALL LOVELIES! Lovely Leez asked me to put up the March Link.

    So Make it Happen in March!

    This fiercely determined group of HCGers have been starting new threads every month for years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join in.

    Please note as you read through the posts:

    We are all in different phases of HCG.
    We all use different methods of HCG.
    We discuss ALL aspects of our individual journeys to a healthier lifestyle.

    Speaking of Mayhem...

    Ahem. The best laid plans...

    I intended to hold off a few days on introducing P4 foods, but there was an event at work today and pizza was the only option. If silverware had been available, I would have only eaten the cheese and veggies, but nooOOOOOooooooo...
    So I consumed "real" pizza on P4D2.
    2 slices.
    But it was very thin crust and I tossed the crusty edges.

    So now I'm just hoping I don't gain 17 pounds overnight.

    ONWARD!

    Kar! Oh I have been THERE...! It often seems like the Universe is out to get us, huh? When was the last time you were cornered with no way past the Pizza? But just as you enter p4? A coincedence? I don't thinks so..... !!! (Get thee behind me, Satan!)

    My bac water came late last evening, so I threw it in the fridge still in the Prime envelope, and hope I can Mix today. My day was hectic yesterday, (for being semi-retired, I seem to be pretty busy!) so did NOT have the bandwidth left to mix last night. Besides, my SHOW was on. I'm a huge Curse of Oak Island Fan, and have to see if they found the treasure yet every Tuesday evening.

    I still sort of wonder why I am doing this. Most women my age would be happy with the weight I am at and now that I don't go to work in an office sort of place, I wear either jeans or yoga pants and a t-shirt or sweat shirt most of the time. As long as my sweatshirts aren't applicaid with puppies and teddy bears.... I have considered getting that t-shirt that says "It's weird being being the same age as old people."

    I keep telling myself it is a healthy way to eat, sugar is not good for me, and I do enjoy food more when I cook at home and eat the right foods. But I am a Baby Boomer and was raised on Bread, Pasta and Pastry. I can avoid those, for months at a time, but I can't seem to completely break the cycle of falling face first into them again.

    Ok. For health. I have diabetes and dementia in my family tree, so Sugar is poison to me. I. Must. Take. Care. Of. Myself.

    Happy Mixing Day, Pearly! I sometimes ask myself why bother at this age, but it always comes down to doing this to be healthy.

    We do this to stay healthy, to re-set bad eating habits, to have pride in our appearance, and to fit into our clothes. It's healthy to take care of ourselves!

    PearlyMae, I know you'll get your hcg mixed, and I hope your re-start goes well. Are you going to do another 30 days (use it all up) or do you plan to freeze syringes for a future round?

    Lately I have been doing hhcg tablets or nasal spray, much simpler to manage.

    Kar, congrats on surviving The Pizza Trap! Been there . . . Usually there's salad too, so I scrape the toppings off and eat with the salad. Enjoy your P4 -

    March madness I think. I’ve been traveling for 8 weeks and added unnecessary lbs. always planned to do a round. But now there is no option. I am using frozen needles. They have been in my freezer since August so hope they are good. The amt of liquid in syringe still at the same mark so hoping good to go. 12 lbs over my liw. Today is loading day. Hope to reach my goal before my 80th birthday March 31. A true milestone. Pearly you are a youngster. I’m the elder hcg statesman. Let’s get this done!!

    Hey ladies! Love the title also....still kicking *** in p4. Waiting on the hcg to arrive as my sis is now healed up from her surgery so she is rearing to go also.

    I don't really have a lot less to lose, but to me it seems like a ton so I know what you mean when you say most ladies would love to be your weight...same, friend, same.

    Tmott, there's also something to be said for doing a round with only a few pounds to lose, rather than waiting until your weight has spiraled out of control.

    Do you hear that sound? By "sound" I mean silence from Pearly. Hmmm...

    Back in the game. Today is day 2 vlcd. 151.8. Down about 1.6 from load weight. Steamed red cabbage and braised boneless skinless chicken breasts. One gala apple. Must remember water. I’m usually pretty good bout it but seemed lax yesterday

    Down 1.6. 150.2 day 3 vlcd Funny story. Yesterday after 6 pm I was concerned I had hunger with my hcg. Then I realized I did not have my second meal. I had eaten first meal early plus my two fruits but forgot my second meal. Ate around 6:45 and felt fine. I thought I had already eaten the second meal. Lol. Guess I’m good to go so far. Most weight loss is fluid since early Feb I was at this weight Hoping rest of weight comes off steadily since I didn’t wait too long. I think having those syringes ready in the freezer made it easier to start. I really procrastinated but once I ate high calories and took shot I knew I had to go for it. Also loaded two days tho I wanted to go three to avoid vlcd. Got over my procrastination and here I am again.
